After waiting a month and half, I called them only to be told that it would be an additional two and a half months. When I said I wouldn't have ordered knowing it would take that long, they basically shrugged. After waiting four months for my shower materials, no one called me to tell me that they had arrived. They then tried to deliver the supplies on the wrong day when I was out of town. I had to screenshot them a voicemail FROM THEM to prove that I had requested delivery for Thursday. Worst of all, we had ordered the particular materials because we needed an off-center drain on the shower pan. Yet the drain was centered. When I spoke to the manager, he tried to say that my contractor had signed off on the order (even though he hadn't checked to see how the order was placed yet). Then, he basically said I had no recourse even though the shower installation ended up requiring the drain being moved and hence was more expensive. When I got a little heated, he then hung up on me. I am following up to see if I can file a complaint with the BBB about being offered no recourse for not getting what I ordered.

My husband & I always get their full attention . I can't say enough how helpful they both were. And pleasant. And you know sometimes how you are made to feel like your bothering the person (I've been there, anyway). They do not ever - especially today. Carlos left for the day and left us in Rosanne's smart & kind hands. I recommend them for any body who has (our issue today) plumbing issues ! Adam another sales person has been there a long time - they know their stuff . Unlike some of big box stores who have new employee s every time you turn around and they are Not any where near knowledgeable these nice folks are.

Not very friendly or approachable, but I saw some cute cocktail glassware and decided to make a purchase. Sadly, that evening, the paper bag with the glasses wrapped in tissue paper, lightly tipped over on the dinner table and one of the glasses shattered. I thought it would be worth a try to go back and see if they could accommodate with a solution as the glasses had not even been unwrapped yet. I went back, and the same man was there. He was extremely hostile when I asked if he could help me out in any way. When I mentioned that the glasses were only wrapped in tissue paper, he became very defensive and suggested that I was blaming him for the accident. "It's my fault," he yelled. He very childishly huffed and puffed through the store as he grabbed me a new glass and some bubble wrap. As he handed back the bag, he very rudely said, "don't blame me if you're not careful and it breaks again." Although I don't think it was his fault, I don't imagine the glass would have broken if it had been well wrapped the first time around. To have a grown man yell at me, a young women in my 20s, felt extremely scary, disrespectful, and and sad that this is a world where men think they can speak to women so harshly. Don't recommend visiting if you are looking for a pleasant customer experience.

They do, however, seem motivated to: 1) Get off the phone with you as quickly as possible. 2) Send you to another department before you even finish what you are asking--or say "no," as quickly as possible, regardless of whether they are correct or not. At least they let you linger because they do sell lots of DIY equipment and materials...but with a "DIY mentality," ie find it yourself. Special call out to the Yelper who mentioned being sold a discontinued stain: 100%. Same thing happened with me with a marble sample.

Located at the Kingston Plaza in Kingston, NY, we came here for a color stain for raw pine doors we'd purchased at a door store. Herzog's is big- not Home Depot big- but it's got a lot of what you may need for home repairs. They carry lighting equipment, painting items, a kitchen+ bathroom design dep't, textiles, BBQ accessories, vacuum cleaners, gardening supplies, candles, some clothing- heck, even minimalist jewelry in a glass case, etc. My girl with the glasses in the paint department was smooth and patient. She took her time when we asked her questions about colors and how each color stain would react to raw wood. Service was fine, we left with smiles and was the opposite of everything that's been written here in the past. Whether you're working with a contractor like we are or you're one of those Do-It-Yourselfers, this is your place.

Namely, restaurants, bars, and adorable shops like this, which is how we spent a lot of our leisure time back in the before times. Light House had hand sanitizer by the door and masks on all the employees, but other than those much appreciated concessions to COVID, it felt like a wonderfully normal shopping experience. This place is stocked with all kinds of high-quality home goods. They've got pottery, candles, appliances, textiles, wrapping paper, adorable baby clothes, toys, stuffed animals, cards, cookware, and a million other items my wife wants to buy (even though we probably only need a dozen of them). Her favorite things they have? Hand soap, laundry detergent, and dish soap in giant jugs so you can bring your own refillable containers and purchase by the ounce without destroying our environment. (We both hug trees on a regular basis.) My favorite things they have? A really interesting selection of books, and a comfortable couch I can sit and read on as my wife looks at everything else. This is a great little shop. Check it out.

There's a hodgepodge of home goods in here. Think kitchen items (food and food oriented, like recipe books), children's clothing/toys, bathrooms items (soap and shit) and other household odds and ends. Fellas: it smells really good and your wife/girlfriend will like it. My only gripe is that it can be irrationally expensive. I bought a kids stuffed animal for my son awhile ago which was around $40. It was hand sewn, however even so that's a bit steep. Think this as a place where you'll pay a bit more for quality goods and this won't bother you as much.
