I hope the owner, other partners and dealers whose business is surely suffering because of Kathy see this review. She mistreats customers - to the point where you actually feel as if she DOESN'T want you to make a purchase. I made a $400 purchase on 2 items and was treated incredibly rudely. Greatest hits include "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else" - and this was as I had $700 worth of merchandise on the counter, which I might have purchased if Kathy hadn't treated me so poorly. Whoever owns the booth with the Jadite - please know you missed out on an additional $350 of business thanks to Kathy. I purchased 2 canisters that I was initially told were $175 for the set of 4, and at the last moment, I was told they were actually $175/per. I'm an experienced Jadite collector, and while these are collectors items, with chipped lids they were actually a bit overpriced. She tried to imply that I was being dishonest about the value of the pieces, and when I corrected her about the current value, she said, "Well, you know how the old saying goes, 'If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else.' " Excuse me? I asked if I could at least swap the lids on the canisters I was purchasing, which Kathy said no to, and as I was carefully handling them to inspect them before I made my large purchase she said "This is how the lids get chipped." I firmly told her that I knew how to handle the items. Then, I was told that the canisters actually go for $400 each - which is just incorrect. I suggested they look at the eBay "Sold" section to see a more accurate representation of current prices, and was told by Kathy. "Well, this isn't eBay. This isn't an auction. And that's the problem, too many people use eBay and think they know better." Actually, I've never purchased any Jadite auction-style on eBay - I've purchased it with set prices, exactly like an antique store functions - minus an incredibly rude person. Kathy has zero customer service skills and should not be in a customer-facing role. It costs nothing to be nice - and if being a decent person isn't enough, getting $400 of my business would be a good reason. If I knew I was going to be treated like this, I would have walked out, but after being lured in with the promise of $175 for 4 canisters, which turned out to be inaccurate, I had already grown attached to these items. She is incredibly lucky I had the good sense to hold my tongue. Magically, once my credit card had been swiped, Kathy's tune changed dramatically, as if the clouds parted on a sunny day. "Did you want anything else? You might find something else you like." Saccharine, fake. Skip this spot and shop at Rhinebeck Antique Center instead. Danny, on the other hand, at the front was kind and helpful and was great with me. However, I would suggest avoiding this place altogether.

The space is split up between the few venders that sell there but the front is by far the best. If you are hesitant about buying already used clothing there are plenty are dresses which were made using vintage patterns and fabric but have never been worn. I've always wanted an antique stained glass window for my house and From Europe to You had a great…read moreselection with some beautiful examples of period stained glass. I found a window that I really liked and inquired as to shipping policies and condition of the window. They said shipping was free and the window was stable for framing and mounting. When the window arrived a few weeks later it was crated and palletized for secure shipping. When I opened the crate, I noticed that the leading was severely deteriorated and the top section had loose pieces of glass. I discussed the issue with the folks at FETY and they accepted partial responsibility and said they would cover half of the repair costs of the upper section, which they did. Upon further evaluation of the other two sections, I found them to be in better shape but the edge framing was still in poor condition and they required an additional $1000 worth of repair/restoration work which FETY did not offer to contribute to. Overall, a beautiful window at a fair price but they should have been more forthright about the condition of the window and the need for restoration before it could be mounted. They are generally responsive to customer concerns and are willing try to resolve issues up to a point.
