I really enjoy Williams chicken menu items . There's nothing that really makes them stand out to me as far as their chicken goes . It isn't bland but isn't packed with a lot of flavor. Just simple fried chicken if you ask me . You know how Popeyes is known for their Cajun flavor mild/Spicy and church's is known to be too greasy yet still good. Williams doesn't have anything that stands out to me . Nevertheless, it's amazingly good and always fresh and hot every time I order . The location In Desoto has the best customer service ever . So Recently I've been on this stuffed pepper kick . Where I just got to have them , I typically get them from jack in the box or sonic . Only I Discovered them on Williams menu and had to try them . It was Probably the worse decision ever , health wise for me personally. I've been there everyday for the past week just for their stuffed peppers . They are the best I've ever had in life . Most places have half of the jalapeño fried with cheese and they have no spice to them . Williams has the jalapeño diced and fried with cheese and they have a little kick to them . The wait in line was about 10 mins. There was one car ahead. Once I got my food it was not hot! I ordered a 3 piece chicken (breast,leg,wing). I also ordered an extra roll. The chicken was not warm enough! The chicken wing had been cooked so long and left to sit under the warmer that the skin was not crisp and was detaching from the meat. Which indicates that perhaps it had been boxed prior to my order. The fries and corn fritters were hot and fresh! I left my own town to venture out into someone else town to be very disappointed in my early dinner! I went to eat lunch at William in Cedar Hill and was disappointed.The food was good however, since the pandemic they took away the seating inside so I was forced to eat in my vehicle, then after eating in my truck since I was still in the parking lot I went to get a refill on my tea when they employee said no drink refills. I said ok and I walked out. i Paid over $10 for my 3 pc dinner and had no place to sit but to not even give a refill was a disappointment. i could see if I left and came back after 2 or more hours but the girl came out and gave the person next to me her order and knew my truck was running so I did not leave and come back just for a refill. I just thought I might as well find another chicken place. I've been going to the Williams Chicken for years but always picked up in the last 3 years. I'll never go back now. read more

Today was my first & last visit to this establishment. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. We ordered 2 piece white, all wings and a 3 piece dark, 1 leg & 2 thighs. When we got our order we stayed at the window in line to check for accuracy, which was good that we did, we were missing one thigh. When we tapped our horn to get someone inside the restaurant's attention the door opens and without any acknowledgment my husbands informs the female that we had an incomplete order, a thigh is missing. The female yells to the other employee they said they missing a thigh. The other employee yells what's in their other box, other female employee proceeds to ask, we responded 2 wings as we showed her the inside of our box. The woman throws a thigh in a box and hands it to us without an apology or anything. I was applauded by their behaviors and lack of empathy, common courtesy and poor customer service. I kindly said, so we don't get an apology or anything. The female at the window said, you fine. And proceeded to close the window. Just rude. Now, I should have asked for a full refund based on lack of customer service skills and limited ability to count to 3. Those were the warning signs that we did not heed to... things turned worse as we bit into the freshly cooked greasy chicken. The first bite I know my blood pressure flew up like a rocket. The level of salt on that bird was like Lot's wife made it and seasoned it with her fingers. I tried to remove the skin to consume it but it was as if the meat was soaked to the bone and washed in the Atlantic Ocean then basted in pure table salt. My husband and I both grabbed our water bottles to rinse the taste from our mouths. We both decided to take the lost and throw the chicken away. We may have consumed 2 bites which were two bites too many because the next hour the party moved to the bathroom with stomach aches and diarrhea. It was horrible. I used to work at this location, and to be honest before Angela and her "crew" showed up, it used to be great and customer friendly. I left a month ago because I was uncomfortable with how the workers would prepare the food as well as speak to the customers as if they're trash. I used to work with a great staff, always took care of you, but when the summer hit and the staff switched up, I personally couldn't take it anymore. The customers, several of them, themselves are sloppy and have unnecessary behavior. Also they would continuously provoke any young lady who works there, and many times Angela, the manager, wouldn't do anything about it, either that or add on to the childish behavior. For anyone who's craving chicken, please don't go there late at night. It is not worth it especially if you want sides with your old chicken, or not have any sides at all. This is about the location at Hwy 67 & Denieldale in Cedar Hill. The lady who took our order at the drive thru may have been new because we had to give her what we wanted several times before she seemed to understand. The chicken was hot, not because it was freshly cooked, but because it seemed to be re-cooked. When we got the box home, we couldn't eat it because it was WAY too salty and over seasoned and dry in general. This is the first time I've had chicken this bad from this location which usually served great food. We wound up throwing it away. Money wasted. I would have taken it back but we were too tired. Great fried chicken. Only eat in if you're in a hurry, not too great a dining area. Sides are pretty good, but the rolls I can do without. It's the chicken that makes the difference. In my opinion, it's the best. The cool thing is that you can take it home and put in the oven at 200 degrees and it will stay fresh for hours. Establishment is the worst business ever! We ordered two meals for myself and my husband on 7/13/15. Employee was extremely rude and unprofessional until it is pathetic. Employee passed food items to us through the window as if she did us a favor by passing our food that we generously covered with our expense. We inquired whether there is a problem because there is ZERO customer service. Employee responded harshly that she is "hot" as though this is an excuse for her behavior. Angela(manager) witnessed the incident and did not bother to rectify the problem but did provide us with the store owner information. Moments later, rude employee went outside to smoke a cigarette in front of the store and later walked past us and laughed. This establishment could use training on customer service.
