Instead, what he said was that he did not need to see our child again since he felt comfortable that he saw the baby the day before. Glad to know he cares more about money and his time than the health of his patients.

He would charge me even though it is a regular visit, same notes been taken, have the best insurance but he still charged me. I had enough so I called my insurance and they said a regular well child check visit shouldn't cost anything as it is a preventive medicine and cannot be charged BUT, what Dr. Abraham does? And this is from his office staff!! He puts in the notes an extra code that of course never been discussed and then it's like an office visit and not a well child check visit. Every visit was the same thing (same notes been taken but you never sign the notes so you have no control on what he puts there AFTER your visit) until I had enough paying him every regular well child visit and decided to leave him as the payment started to be too much for nothing. I really can't recommend him. Spoke with his office about it to try and find a solution but they told me that this is something he is known of doing and they are sorry. The staff is nice and I appreciate them telling it to me and helping me to find a better doctor that runs a better business out of young families.

I've been using Baylor Family Medical for 20 years now for issues great and small. This was my…read moreannual visit but to their new building. It is much larger than the old North Garland facility with what looks to be an emergency center in part of the building. After circling one time to get my bearings of where the clinic area was located I entered. I should say the reason I've stayed with Baylor all these years is personal, friendly service and diagnostic advanced care. So it was good to know progress and growth had not dampened those attributes, but as one should expect- made positive strides in my opinion to advance both service and care with a bit more speed. Being employed in tech I immediately appreciate their use of new "stuff", from the Phone app to the gear they employ for even my simple checkup. Nothing like speed when your waiting on the numbers! Service- It's a big place but after determining where clinic was from the entryway shingle, I was greeted warmly and escorted to the area where my new doctor served. Short wait- very good first visit with "new" Dr- some diagnostic tech and I'm done. While I was out in under 1 hr, even with a meet/greet the new doctor, I felt very good about the visit and Baylor. This was a Friday the 13th visit but I had some lab results on Saturday via the Baylor app and full results with Doctor recommendations Sunday evening. Pleased to say the least - 5/5!

Let me start by saying that I have used doctors in this system for over 30 years. (I miss Dr…read more Hoss.) The doctors, nurses and medical staff working for Baylor are always great. However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit. My last doctor visit was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the dr office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. So...)

I want to highlight my personal experiences with this office and not with Dr. Trumby himself…read more Something that I believe many doctors, including Dr. Trumby overlook: how much their staff impacts the overall patient experience and even their bottom line. When I first called to make an appointment, I was put through a screening process and then sent to "Shannon's" voicemail, which promised a call back within 24 hours to schedule my first appointment. I called three times over two weeks, trying to get an appointment. I was already terrified about what was happening to me. It's demeaning to feel like you have to beg for someone to care. I'm sincerely disappointed because several people referred me to Dr. Trumby and I honestly believed he could help me. Thankfully, I found another hematologist/oncologist whose staff called back within the day, treated me with respect, and made me a priority from day one. They made it clear I deserved the attention and care I needed. Doctors should realize that an unresponsive staff push patients to seek out other places where they feel heard and valued. It is my hope there is someone in management that reads this and is able to fix "the problems" within their house!

I have taken over 24 hours to process my interaction with Dr. Mallick yesterday and I hope that…read morewith my feedback, Dr. Mallick will truly take time to self reflect for future patients and for others to take this into consideration as they search for a doctor. I was really excited to meet with Dr. Mallick. He seemed like exactly what I was needed. I have chronic gut health issues (poor digestion, nausea, bowel issues) and he emphasized finding the root cause. This is just what I was looking for and after being so sick for 3 days, I booked a call with him. Looking back, I see similarities to my interaction on the call and the interaction we had in person. I scheduled the call, watched the linked video which looked good, he seemed to be the type of doctor I needed to truly heal. On the phone call itself, I briefly explained my issues and the call seemed a little bit rushed but I assumed he was busy, he is a doctor. I was handed to his receptionist and scheduled my appointment, he said to think of this first appointment as an interview. My husband, who took off for this appointment and my 1 year old son came with. The appointment begins and he talked a lot about the process, asked me some questions - but not with the intent to get to know me, understand, or to listen but because he was listening for the response he needed to decide whether to take me as a patient. During the appt, he told me he has ended consultations early in the past, once he learns that they are not the right fit for him. He asked many questions, some in repeat because he was making sure I was committed to his process and he made this very known. He seemed understanding of my son being there but when my son needed me for a moment (I was still listening, parents learn how to multitask) and said how "he will wait" before continuing. At the end of the appointment, he talked about the investment which for 4 months (which is what he recommended for me) it was $5600 and included everything such as supplements, future appointments, etc. When we started discussing financials, we felt pressure to sign up for their financing, apply right there, and we will be all set to start. We took time to privately discuss and I decided that I wanted to give Dr. Mallick the benefit of the doubt and asked if I can discuss some concerns with him. I didn't want to write him off without trying - this is about my health after all. I shared my concerns about how the interaction felt very different than I was expecting. I explained that I was seeking a human to human interaction, someone to truly listen to me, to take time to ask about what I was experiencing, and I asked for more transparency for what the treatment plan is which he doesn't usually share in detail as to not overwhelm the patient. He said he has had 3-4% of patients that would drop out of his process. He said "it's called vetting" to describe what his initial consultation is for. Reflecting back, I consider that a small percentage when the percentage of patients who likely walk away after this type of interaction are probably much higher. When I said that I was looking for someone to truly listen, he said "Didn't I listen when I was asking you questions about (XYZ)?". There is a difference between listening for the right response & truly listening to someone. He also said how the appointment can't be like "having a coffee and chatting". Which looking back, I feel that my concerns themselves were not only refuted but again, not truly listened to. We left without signing up for anything and I went home and sobbed and prayed to God for help. I felt like I would never find anyone to help me until, with the help of God's direction, I found Dr. Joel Miller, a functional medicine doctor that loves to serve and listen. Dr. Mallick, I hope you truly reflect on my feedback and the concerns that I see others have shared in the past. I also encourage others to read his responses to previous negative reviews.

Dr. RoseBerry has 20+ years of experience and I really liked her. Dr Able also seemed very knowledgable and approachable. With some many physicians I have had very reasonable experience with obtaining appointments. However, the nurse / doctor calls backs seems bit lengthy at 3+ hours. Isabel that handles insurance and is sometimes at the desk is extremely nice and will go out of her way to help.
