Buffalo chicken salad
Mary K.

Our go to Sunday dinner spot. Great for sport games, they have TVs all over. The bartenders are super friendly and we always have good conversations with them. And the jams! The have the best playlist every time we are in there. Now for the food- it's slightly elevated bar food but the sandwiches are fabulous. My go to is the grilled ribeye with the pasta salad, but it's hard to go wrong. As you can see in the photo- their salads are huge! Finally- the beer selection is fantastic. They curate a list of interesting selections from all over.

Came here as we waited for our food to be ready across the street and enjoyed looking at all their different brews on tap. I appreciated the difference offerings and how knowledgeable the bartender was about how each one tasted. I was able to sample a couple and it actually changed my opinion on beer lol. I don't know if I would ever go back and order a full glass but there are a few I could definitely sip

Chicken Caesar Wrap with crispy chicken instead of grilled chicken.

I visited Wiley Gunters for dinner. It's a neighborhood bar in Baltimore. TVs lined the wall and there was a chalkboard with a variety of beers offered. I was greeted and told to sit wherever. Service was quick, I ordered my food and it was very little wait time. Different servers checked on us throughout our time which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and I was able to sub out the grilled chicken for crispy chicken. It was delicious. The chicken was very well seasoned and the fries...chef's kiss! My boyfriend's old bay wings were piping hot and seasoned to perfection. Everything was delicious and at a good price point...can't wait to come back to try the Chesapeake nachos!!

I have been back here several times since my last review because of the fries. This bar is one of the only commanders bar I know of and the prices are truly affordable. I've gotten the sliders and burgers and those are mainly the best things to get on the menu besides the wings. Service is dependent on how busy they are, but they are all really friendly.

Great local place that has a lot of character and charm. It has a sports bar feel with incredible food options. The fries are some of the best in town. Highly recommend stopping by Wiley Gunters.

The food was really good with good Portion and prices were great. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side salad. The buffalo wings and fries for appetizers. My Drink was good. The staff was very attentive they all kept making sure we didn't need anything. They have indoor and outdoor seating gives a bar vibe on the inside.

Chimichurri steak and fries

I've been to Wiley's MANY times - not sure why I'm just now getting around to this review. That said, I popped by on 9/22 hoping to get a steak dinner special that was a thing some years ago. Newsflash...that deal no longer exists, lol. My friend and I sat outside on a very nice Sunday evening. We scanned the QR codes on the table to order food and drink. I went with the chimichurri steak and a beer whose name I can't recall but it was delightful (and a recommendation from the bartender). I'll be stopping by again soon to drink it again! For $24 the chimichurri steak is a good deal. It comes with a huge caesar salad and fries. The steak was cooked to my specification and was very well seasoned, plus there was a lot of fat left on, which I like. Payment was easy. I shall return.

Great sports bar with a great selection above craft beers and non-alcoholic craft beers. Outstanding bar food!

My partner and I decided to try this spot out on Sunday yo watch the game and grab something to eat after realizing that our regular spot was closed. The food and customer service were great. We had burgers, fries and crushes. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

Wiley Gunter's is my new favorite spot for bar food and drinks. The steak frites and buffalo wings are the best. The Smith Island cake was also really tasty. The bartenders were really nice and educational on the variety of different drinks.

House special steak sandwich. Crispy bread, chewy bread. Fresh meat perfectly cooked.

Fresh! Fresh! Everything they made was fresh. This is my new place for elevated bar food and cocktails. I could see the cooks in the kitchen cutting and cooking all the fresh ingredients for the steak sandwich I ordered and all of the other orders going out. The coctails were very well balanced. The Pretzels appetizer was hot and fresh as well. The holiday margarita was made with all fresh ingredients.

Ciabatta Steak

I've been wanting to stop by for a while and I'm glad I did! We came on a weekend night and it was a little busy. Street parking was a bit hard to find, but we were able to find some behind the restaurant. I got the ciabatta steak and it was amazing-- the ciabatta was so soft and the steak bits were super juicy and cooked perfectly. The old bay fries were also so crispy and amazing! My friend got The Chesapeake burger and loved it! She said it was one of her favorite burgers in Baltimore. Great beer selection too. Atmosphere was lively. Would definitely come again and would recommend!

Wings, crab dip and fries

I love this place. The bartenders and staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The food is great too! When I was there just recently, I had the wings, fries and the crab dip. Soooo good! They have an outside area as well either tvs so you can watch any game that is on. Great vibes. I will definitely be back again soon.

I finally got a chance to check out this brewery and I am glad I did. Housed in the former St…read more Michael's Church, Ministry Brewing is really nice collective of beer, food and ambience. And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

Two of us came here to start the weekend early, about 4:15pm on a Friday. There is no parking lot…read morefor this location. We found street parking not too far away. The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.
