More like "Wilted Flowers". This place is tired and dingy. The food is underwhelming and served on plastic plates with cheap flatware. My high school cafeteria had better food. The service was friendly, but slow and aloof. If you want good pub fare, try the Firkin Tavern--it's not far away and has way better food and service.

Wildflowers never disappoints. We've gone to dinner, just for drinks, and had take out here. It's a local staple. Nice decor, clean, friendly staff. Their wings, pizza and penne vodka are good. They give back to the community, (baskets and gift cards at charity events) we've held dine outs for my daughter's PTO here for fundraising. It's a local company you want to support. Definitely recommend!

I've been to Wildflowers many times over the years as I used to work in Hopewell, NJ and I'd often stop by for a pint after work. Stopped over for lunch this week with my wife and daughter on our way up to drop her at summer camp. Ambiance is sports pub which is definitely my vibe. Cozy, low lighting, Olympics on TV. Perfect! Service was attentive and working hard to manage an outage with their ordering/payment system. No big deal for us. Was able to sneak across the street to Santander Bank for cash since they were unable to process cards. They handled it all in stride! I wanted something lighter and ordered the tuna salad sandwich with fries. My daughter ordered Gorgonzola cheese fries with bacon and my wife got the Best of Both Worlds Pizza which is a white pie with the BOBW's Salad on it. It was amazing. The Gorgonzola cheese fries (which I've had many times) are legendary. Don't skip them! Tuna salad was delicious. Just what you'd expect. Always a good spot and glad we stopped by to have a meal.

Hometown joint, pretty crowded. Service was inattentive all night sitting at bar. Average drink selection, but diverse food menu. Nothing was overly delicious or worth writing about. You'd think Buffalo wings would slay at a janky pub such as this. Just okay. Loaded potatoes came with two huge ones overflowing with cheese and toppings. Also just okay. Pizza seems to be the big hitter here so would give that a whirl next time.

I'm visiting my family in New Jersey and landed in this delightful restaurant. My cousin told me they had great food, and she was so right! I ordered a Philly steak, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. I also order the Derby Pie for dessert. I haven't had a Philly steak since I moved out west; first to OK and then to Texas. The steaks out west are just different. This one was JUST LIKE I REMEMBERED! The beef was cut exactly like I remember: shaved and chopped. The flavor was excellent, and the fried onions were perfect. I loved it; and it brought back all the memories I had of Philly Steaks when I was much much younger! The fries were very good and the onion ring was perfect. Just the right amount of batter. The Derby Pie had a graham cracker crust and the "pie" itself was more cake-like. It was good, but not the same as the Derby Pie I am used to. I am used to a pie dough crust and a filling that is more like Pecan pie. It was still good. All in all, it was a great experience. The food was good; the service was good, and we all had a great time.

Jahad the waiter was awesome. The tenders lightly battered good sauce a little tough though the pizza was good. The steak special was not good powdered mash gray steak it was unattractive as it was tasteless. The meatball sauce was bitter. The amount of fries we received for $7.50 simply didn't add up. Jahad, the pizza and exterior of the tenders saved it from being a 1 overall rating.

The prices shown do not add up to the subtotal. They should fix this.

We drove past all the crowded spots in town and arrived at this more secluded location. They had a small outdoor area with about 4 or 5 tables, so we decided to take advantage of the sunshine. To start, we ordered the calamari and a Greek panzanella salad. Both were delicious, but really loved the sauces that come on/with the calamari. For mains, my husband ordered the meatloaf and I had the lamb burger with beer-battered onion rings. Unfortunately, too full for dessert. Our server was great, didn't catch her name - but she's one of the newest bartenders. She took great care of us and was really helpful with answering our questions, since it was our first time there. The place has a parking lot, but expect Valet at peak times. Regular menu, plus daily specials. Overall, solid neighborhood spot, away from the crowds. Didn't get to look around inside but I'm sure the ambience is nice at night. We'll definitely be back!

Our drinks (pear-licious martini and appletini) were good but filled so full that there was spillage on the bottom of the glass when they were served. I had the goat cheese poppers which were delicious, as was the apple salad that accompanied them. I also had a side - apples Brussels sprouts, butternut squash & celery root - a fabulous combination that I thoroughly enjoyed. The others in my party had a burger (too well done but ok) and rare seared tuna (yummy) with the same veggie side. For dessert, we tried 3: warm chocolate chip cookies (very good), baklava (ok), and espresso creme brûlée (good). We had espresso and coffee as well - which were both accompanied by biscotti which went home for a morning snack. Our reservation was 7p on a Thursday near Christmas. The place was packed with lots of larger parties and what appeared to be a holiday party. So it was LOUD and hard to hear each other speak. As the crowd thinned out, it got much better.

The omelette was a bit dry, and it wasn't really my favorite. The sausage was nice and snappy though. One of my friends got the eggs Benedict which she thought was alright. Desserts were shared around the table: carrot cake, cannolis and blueberry pie. The taste was a bit artificial and each dessert was very dry. Despite having a large party, the dessert was not finished. I like how there's plenty of parking in the back. I believe this diner has been open for quite some time. I'm not sure if it's bc when we came here it was a holiday weekend and it was super busy, but everything to me just was a bit subpar.

It has a rustic farmhouse feel (wood floors with wide boards, multiple fireplaces) but still comes across as more upscale than your typical tavern. The dining room has a warm atmosphere without being too loud, so you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We started with the seasonal pickle plate (beets, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber, fennel, olives) and the bread plate (three different breads with two different butters and olive oil). Both were a good way to kick things off. The pickled vegetables had a nice variety and the bread was fresh and paired well with the accompaniments. For our entrees, my wife went with the homemade pasta while I chose the Wagyu NY strip steak cooked medium rare with bourbon maple glazed root vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor. The root vegetables added a nice sweetness that complemented the dish well. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. To finish the night, we had the mozzarella gelato (yes, you read that right - mozzarella), along with tea for my wife and coffee and Sambuca for me. The gelato was a unique dessert and a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress Jemma was very friendly and attentive throughout the night without being overbearing. Overall, everything was very good. This is definitely a place we would return to, especially for a nice dinner out.

The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. They also provided complimentary champagne for our celebration. For appetizers, the duck bacon and vegetable fritters ($16) and hand-made potato and cheese pierogies ($19) were ordered. The fritters consisted of house cured and smoked duck breast with a whipped lemon ricotta. There were two present and each were fried perfectly. The lemon ricotta was definitely needed to pair with the salty fritter. It was a great compliment. The pierogies were of the squash variety and they came with caramelized onions and sauteed greens. There were about five or six substantial size pierogies and each sized appropriately. The squash layer really made them airy and the filling was tasty. The onions were a little too soft as there was some type of broth present. The greens were ideal though. For an entrée, I had the signature tavern burger ($38). It was a cold smoked grass-fed ground beef patty with caramelized onion, bone marrow, bacon jam, and potato wedges. I also had the gruyere and bacon added to the burger for no extra fee. When I initially ordered, I thought the bone marrow was just going to be on the burger, but I was wrong. Right next to the burger was one of bigger bone marrows I have seen. It was very good with the onions and bacon pieces. The marrow itself paired nicely with the bacon and onions. For the burger itself, I opted for it to be medium rare, and it came out perfect. There was an ideal ratio of bread to filling. The bacon jam was not too overpowerful, and the meat was seasoned well. The potato wedges which I believe were cooked in tallow were also large. They were crispy and seasoned nicely too. It was a well put together meal. I also tried the lamb being offered that night which I believe came with a lamb sausage and a shallot tzatziki. This was solid as well, but there were a number of fatty pieces I was surprised to see. For dessert, the mozzarella gelato ($12) was ordered. Yes, this had to be ordered to give it a try, and it was well received. There was not an overpowerful flavor of cheese, which I was afraid of. It did taste like mozzarella, but not overwhelming. The actual gelato was very creamy too, which I am sure helped. Will I go back? I would.

As a hint, I pointed to the Mother's Day reservations as this is definitely the place to take a special someone for a special occasion. All of the specials - drink and otherwise - are beautifully drawn on a big chalkboard at the entrance, so if you like to explore cocktails and mocktails, they're inventive here. Counter to some of the reviews here, we experienced attentive service with our tie dye hobbyist server Zach. He's so friendly and gets that New Orleans version of hospitality that gets to know the customer and tell a little bit about himself - hence the tie dye convo! I'm a beer girl and ordered the Spellbound Coffee porter from an extensive beer list (draft and bottles) and my husband and his friend appreciated the whiskey choices. Menu offers a little something for everyone without being overwhelming. Sandwiches, pizza, pasta, steaks, sushi and Mex - but it does really all make sense (and our friend tells us the Philly sushi roll is great)! Kids have decent choices too and I have to say that the fries that accompany the grilled cheese are probably in my top 5 of all time - crispy with visible salt flakes and peppers. I would also count my apple walnut salad as crave-worthy and one of my top salads of all time - a perfect bite of lettuce, blue cheese, dried fruit and walnut every time - I am not sure that I can try anything else on the menu when I go back (and I had a hard time choosing, as there were many vegetarian options!). Mac and cheese short rib sando makes a statement upon delivery and was delicious according to our friend. Not pictured, but chicken parm was also perfectly crispy and delicious. Caesar salad was a winner and my selective husband told me it was very good, along with his high marks for atmosphere, drinks and service. Definitely a five star experience!
