Eh, it was okay. Of the 3 of us, one liked the meal (fish and chips) and two of us didn't. I had the Korean chicken tacos. The only thing Korean about it as that they drenched the taco in soy sauce which just made it a really salty taco. The service was really slow even though the place was almost empty. I just couldn't find our waiter anywhere. The restaurant itself looks nice, but the food is really mediocre. read more

The overall look and setting of this restaurant is very nice especially the outside area. The inside can be extremely loud if it's busy and you can't even hear yourself talk so I would suggest you sit outside if possible if it's not too hot. The first time I ate here it was very good and I had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, the 2nd time I ate here I had the New York Strip steak which was ok but the broccolini was undercooked and was too sweet. This most recent time I ate here I ordered the pork tenderloin again and it was not good at all. It had a rubbery texture and a funny taste. I feel like they need to expand their menu or add some new options to it and at least have some daily specials to switch it up a bit because it gets old after a while. read more

Great service. One of the best lunch burgers I've ever had. Definitely hit up this spot

Great experience. Seated promptly, and greeted by our server in a comfortable manner. Our meal was phenomenal from start to finish. Ordered the broccoli and crisp potato soup, sea scallops, talapia special, bars of sin and a caramel custard brownie offering that was all out of this world. We'll be back... read more

Our first visit to Wildflower and it was memorable in every way. We were celebrating our 36th anniversary and arrived for lunch with no reservation. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. The broccoli soup was flavorful as a starter, but the chicken with home-made pasta noodles, pine nuts, spinach, and cherry tomatoes was outstandingly flavorful. Then dessert came. What a treat -- they made a special presentation for us by writing happy anniversary on a platter surrounded by cookies, candles, the pot of creme and hot fresh brownie with fudge and home-made ice cream. We were just delighted and will happily return again. Thank you, Wildflower! read more

It is hard to find a restaurant that serves consistently good food, has attentive and responsive wait staff and sports an easy-going but sophisticated atmosphere. Wildflower is one! I have been there at least a dozen times, driving across the city to slide into a chair... knowing I'm "in good hands." The restaurant changed its menu recently and has tasty new Happy Hour specials like mussels and a bruchetta platter. The only thing I would recommend to manager Gary Coleman is that they serve a longer "short list" of good wines by the glass at H.O prices. Highly recommend for a satisfying night out! read more

Great dinner and service, but wait! There's more- incredible desserts- share one, they are quite shareable.

My partner and I went to Wildflower for dinner last night and were very impressed. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, and we enjoyed the edamame dumplings as an appetizer in addition to the bread our waiter brought to the table. The wait staff was attentive, and we very much enjoyed our main dishes (he had the steak and I had the salmon - both were well executed in taste and presentation!), and we even shared a dessert (warm apple crisp). All in all I would definitely return and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. read more

Wildflower is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. It's upscale, casual dining without being "stuffy." I've been coming here to this quaint little gem since 2000. The decor is perfection. Open, colorful, inviting, and comfortable. Their patio seating, with a beautiful view of the mountains, is unmatched and probably the best in town, although the outside seat cushions could stand to be revived. Other than that, beautiful. There is an obvious attention to detail. Their menu is seasonal while keeping house favorites. I have several favorites; the spinach salad, the lobster salad, the spinach pappardelle, and the all natural chicken. I have had several guests this month and Wildflower is my go-to restaurant. The service is outstanding and friendly, and the food is amazing. I am a huge fan of all the Fox Restaurants, but Wildflower by far is my favorite. read more

My girlfriend and I had entrees, one bad and one good. I feel like the cooks and chefs didn't taste my food before putting it on the plate. I ordered the chicken curry and the vegetables were raw, rice was crunchy and the curry sauce had no acidity to it (to much coconut milk). The entree she ordered was fantastic. It was the spinach pappardelle. I think this restaurant is trying to be to upscale. It doesn't need to be. As long as the food is good and the menu is right. read more

What a gorgeous night! Perfect weather and a really great restaurant. I am a huge fan on Fox Family restaurants and this is another great one. They made it easy for me and I made reservations on Open Table, I was also able to easily change my reservation by 15 minutes this way too. Casas Adobe Plaza is a lovely area and they make the most of it with a gorgeous patio out front. We ordered the calamari appetizer that was really great. It comes with mixed greens that makes it lighter than just having fried calamari. It was delicious! We also had the edamame dumplings. Holy guacamole were they amazing. Super delicious. I even embarrassed myself and dipped my bread into the sauce so not a single drop would be missed. For dinner I had the short rib ravioli with truffle cream and braised kale. It was really good but not as amazing as the appetizers. Which I feel is being slightly rude to the ravioli but the others were so beyond great someone has to come in second. My handsome date had some sort of fish entree that he loved but I was so engrossed in my food I didn't see what he had. How rude I know. But he loved it. I had a couple glasses of the Viognier blend that was nice. They did have one Arizona wine in the list. I was hoping for more. Another great Fox meal. I am a believer! read more

I ordered the calamari appetizer and it was SO good. The very light breading was just right. Our waiter was fairly attentive early on, but took more time to get back to us with boxes and checks. read more

The agnolotti with mushroom filling is the bomb...so good! Had this with the spinach salad (plenty to split between two diners) and walked away very, very happy. This was a first visit; surely it won't be the last. read more

To update my review, we did get a call from the manager about the other night. so we will give them another chance due to his customer service. Will update after our next visit. read more

Back to former glory. Very good service, reasonable pricing and reliable, tasty food. Wildflower, after stumbling a couple of times for us is doing just fine. read more

This place Is great and will catch you off guard. It's quiet. It's romantic. Sarah was friendly, professional, and made great recommendations. read more

Excellent food and drinks! The mint and lime cocktail is sooo refreshing!! The bars of sin dessert was in my top five best desserts ever! I would give 4.5 stars if it were an option. The outside patio was covered with flies and service was slow. We asked for bread and it came after our entrees were served. We sat for about 15-20 mins with nothing to eat and drinks took awhile too. Normally no biggie, but the place was practically empty. Should have been prompt. read more

Make sure to make a reservation. I didn't think I would need one on a Tuesday night but made the reservation just in case. Good thing I did make the reservation, there was a wait for those who did not. The service was great and the salmon fabulous. I do wish I had picked to sit outside because inside was so loud that I had to yell just for my friend to hear me. They do need to do something about the acoustics. read more

We have eaten at wildflower many times and had a good experience but tonight was over-the-top amazing. My husband and I shared the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. The medallions were so tender there was no need for a knife. Perfectly cooked. The sauce was delicate but amazingly flavorful. It was accompanied by delicious au gratin potatoes, tiny tender asparagus, and delicious mushrooms. This dish stands out as one of those top ten meals you have at a restaurant over the years. You will never forget those dishes. read more

In the past we loved this place, but last night I had one of the worst meals I've ever eaten anywhere. I had the paella, a dish I love. The mussels were stringy and the rice was gummy. It seemed they made it with short instead of long rice. I did tell the waitress. I was offered to get something else, but really wanted to leave. Hope this restaurant really looks at what the chefs are doing. So disappointed. read more

The service here is great, the flavor of the food is wonderful! But! The portion sizes are horrendously small! I got the Short Rib ravioli and I maybe had 6 medium sized shells for $17! Everyone in my party was shocked. Like, you might as well go to The Olive Garden if you want a portion size worth your money. read more

Outdoor dining at Wildflower is a wonderful experience. My wife and I were visiting relatives who wanted to treat us to a wonderful restaurant in Tucson that they enjoy. We started with the Chef's Board which was a very enjoyable antipasto with cheese, salami, olives, and vegetables that is a wonderful way to start your dining experience at Wildflower. My salmon entree was done perfectly with a crisp outside over a bed of vegetables. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her spinach pappardelle, and everyone else raved about their dishes as well. We are from the east coast and really wish we had a restaurant with this kind of outdoor experience in our area. read more

Very poor. Actually has to be one of the worst experiences ever. Took my family here. There were 4 of us and we sat outside. I didnt really think the ambiance was spectacular at all as I see some of the other reviews state. The patio furniture is aging and its confusing when you walk in. Anyway on to the important part the food. My daughter orders a $32 steak that came with spinach. She asked me to taste the spinach and asked me is that normal? I took one bite and it tasted like chemicals. It was awful tasting. My daughter told the server that the steak was chewy they took her plate and offered her nothing else. She literally had 2 bites. My husband had tacos. He took one bite and then asked me to taste it because he thought it was horrible. I took one bite it was cold and bland it was not good. I got some pasta dish with chicken. I think that was the first time I ever had overcooked pasta in a restaurant but not just a little overcooked I mean it was so sogged up with water that the noodles were tasteless. I was like eating soggy warm water. It was kinda weird. They asked my husband how his was and he told them the truth this is not good. No offer of anything else or to redo it they just took the plate. He only ate half a taco. They later ask me what I think and I have no idea why I told them the truth because they just ended up taking my plate too. Now none of us have any food. All of us came in hungry barely ate anything it was all removed and we were given no choice and then they brought us the bill and said they gave us the employee discount as if that was some consolation. The employee discount took off less than the cost of the steak they took away and then these people actually expected us to pay this bill for NO FOOD. I just didnt want any more drama so paid the bill unfortunately in cash and it was somewhere around $100 bucks. I am telling everyone in the world how horrible my experience was and a great alternative is Pita Jungle right across the street. Their food actually tastes good and they dont take it from you if they did something wrong. They would fix it but that has never happened in the years that I have been going there. You could even go to Sauce right next door their pizzas are awesome but DO NOT WASTE your time and money going here unless you are looking to be ripped off. Do they pay people for these good reviews?? What is happening?? ***Update*** I would just like to say thank you to the owner for acknowledging that we were customers at your restaurant because after leaving what was going to be my one and only review regarding this awful experience on your Facebook page, I was then harassed by several individuals on your page for leaving that review. It would appear that they have some personal stake in the restaurant. Either family or employees. They attacked me like crazy people would and accused me of lying to get free food. They accused me of never even having been at your restaurant, taunting me to prove it. So to the goons that you put on me, I would like to say thank you, there is your proof from the owner themselves. ***** read more

I ordered the Fish and chips and the cinnamon doughnuts. I thought the price was ridiculous... until I actually took a bite. It was delicious and well worth the price. I dont think it was a small portion as some of these reviews state. It was very filling to me. read more

Wow. This place rivals award-winning eateries in large cities back east. The ingredients were fresh and the meals beautifully plated. We had the salmon and the short rib ravioli. The salmon was cooked to perfection and medium, as the chef recommended. The short rib was flavorful and tender. And the best of all, the price was right. I will recommend this restaurant to all that pass through Tuscon and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. read more

My group of eight difficult to please people celebrated a birthday last Saturday. Due to two hearing impaired guests, we needed to sit on the patio. Mary, the Manager, called to let me know that half the patio was sold out for another birthday celebration and the other half was also full, making it necessary for us to sit with two round tables together set up to make one. I was upset and told her that wouldn't work. She graciously listened and set up square tables along the banquet. Upon arriving, my guests, who weren't aware of the special seating set aside for us, felt cramped. With a smile, Mary carried out another table. She, along with her staff, worked tirelessly to make our celebration a success.Thank you Mary (and your staff) for the pleasant, professional service and amazing food. read more

We've enjoyed a few meals here. Good quality and service is good. Seems like a place for the retired crowd; center has sometimes difficult parking situation up front but if you park in the back of center you can easily get to the front. read more

I'm a big fan of this place. The meals are very delicious and price just right for what you get.

Had to try this restaurant out while I was in Tucson and see what all the rave was about. Super cute, upscale, garden-esque. I love all the decor and the open kitchen. We tried the calamari, lobster salad and the chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich was amazing and different than what you would expect. It was warm and cheesy... almost like a panini or grilled cheese sandwich... but better! Service was great also. Wish we had one in Dallas! read more

I finally made it in to try this spot after wanting to check it out for years. We had a great time snacking and drinking during happy hour. They have a great menu! There were four of us and we sampled one of each of their plates from the happy hour menu and then some beers and cocktails. Their list isn't very big but everything they offer is wisely selected. The crispy shrimp was the favorite but everything is tasty and their prices are beyond reasonable. To top it all off our server was awesome funny and efficient (Stephanie??). I'm looking forward to coming in for an actual meal next time. read more

Was super excited to find out this was a fox restaurant. I love fox restaurants but I have to say that I was slightly disappointed in this one. Servers were so nice but very very slow! Which is unusual for fox restaurants. Food was pretty good! The roasted mozzarella ravioli was not a good choice. There was this unusual green Chile sauce on it that really threw it off. Make sure to not ask for it if you order it. Overall, pretty good if you are not in a rush for anything! read more

Yay happy hour. The elderflower drop was surprisingly strong and refreshing. The smoked salmon on potato galettes with chive creme fraiche was a savory salty creamy crispy delight. The potato skins were boring and not salty enough. The selection of cheeses was mild. The cherry confiture had a unique umami to it and tasted similar to Japanese plum. The Marcona almonds contrasted the confiture well. The key lime tart and blackberry zinfandel sorbet was a light finish. The berries made a good mixture of mouth feels. The sorbet was smooth and not seedy at all. The service was excellent. The service was on top of the refills, grabbed anything out of the way that was unnecessary, never intruded, and provided great recommendations. The place was at least 90% people over 40. It was a weekday afternoon but still surprisingly elderly. The decor feels like something from a spring issue of Martha Stewart magazine. Very floral contemporary American with light blue. Sure, I'm a college student, but I don't like the buzz of Ra. Just eating good food and sipping on new beverages in a relaxed environment is euphoric in moderation. read more

We had a family dinner here on 9/19/14 during restaurant week. $30/ person was a fabulous deal for a three course meal. We ordered the Cold Smoked Salmon, Pan Fried Edamame Dumplings, Spinach Salad, Short Rib Ravioli, Grilled Pork Tenderloin, and the Steelhead Salmon, and for dessert a Key Lime Tart, Bars of Sin, and the Cinnamon Doughnuts. Every single dish was cooked well, and tasted amazing. The ravioli melted in your mouth. The salmon was flaky and fresh. The tenderloin was flavorful and savory. And the desserts....well....they were decadent and mouth wateringly delicious. I thought since it was going to be a prix fix menu, the portions would be small, however, they were far from small, especially the desserts. Wildflower is definitely on my list of future visits and recommendations for family and friends when they come to town. read more

Decided to go back to Wildflower for the Happy Hour. It's a real popular hang out and rightly so. Probably one of my favorite Happy Hours in town. We had the Crispy Shrimp with Zucchini slices breaded and fried with a wonderful sauce to dip. This dish was large and big enough for the two of us to gobble it down and feel full. We got the Fig sausage with wrapped bacon. Only four tiny pieces packed with a great sweet taste. I felt pretty full with the glass of Sangria. Only 4 bucks at Happy Hour. It just hit the spot. Then the hubby was still craving more food so we opted for the Burger with fries to share. It was really so so. Very average. Meat was dry and nothing to write home about. Will be back for more happy hours and forget the regular menu for a while. The wait staff was attentive. If any of you follow me you know I am a bread maven. They give every table wonderful fresh bread with the best tasting oil. It's a nice ambiance here and you can dine outdoors but you have to reserve that seating. I was more comfortable inside. I'll be back. read more

Had a great lunch today at Wildflower! It was a business lunch and the food was fresh, imaginative and tasty. But the topper was our server, he made the experience so much better. In addition to the normal items you expect, he was extremely friendly without being intrusive, offer my friend gluten free bread when she mentioned her lunch choice, offered us additional Arnold Palmers to go when we finished. read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Tucson. The calamari, brie and rack of lamb are to die for. They can go a little heavy on the garlic at times but, aim to please and will make it right for you. One waitress when I went with my Father-in-law even offered to run down to the Whole Foods to get what he was hoping to have with his meal. With all the times I have eaten here I have yet to leave disappointed. read more

Hadn't been to this restaurant for a while since they murdered a rack of lamb by grossly over cooking it years ago. So I went with a dining companion and I have fairly good but mixed reviews. The food was quite good. The service was so so a little confused a little out of it. That might seem like being nitpicky but at these prices the service should be on the button. read more

Here I am finishing my reviews after 3 month lol. Thanks yelp for reminding me. Well this was our second visit...the only think we like here was the cheese boards. Oh those were delish. I wasn't impressed with other dishes but I will give it another try someday. read more

Black mussels in chorizo-infused sauce was delicious. Our waiter was attentive, pleasant, and professional. The steal-head salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky, moist. However, the accompanying scalloped potatoes were so over salted that I could not eat them. The paella too was over salted. The front staff were inexperienced, young, and seem confused about how to seat people in a timely fashion. At least half of the seating in the restaurant is on a covered patio that is not attractive or charming. read more

I recently enjoyed a PACKED Friday evening here with a friend. The wine selections are great, the service is fast and efficient, and the food is yummy. I am a constant repeat offender with their chicken salad The loss of a star is only due to the fact that they had a party set up next to us in a super awkward way. There was no privacy for them and it created a disconnect for everyone sitting in that area from their own meal with friends or family. Other than that I'll definitely be back for another sandwich. It makes my heart happy. read more
