I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and the young lady managing the store was super friendly and helpful. I explained that I wasn't sure what time they closed because the information on Yelp and Google did not match. She said she would update the operating hours to match. There's a lot of sugar inside, and the sweet aroma smacks you in the face the moment you open the door. I walked around the store, asked a bunch a questions, and then made my way to the gelato. The young lady explained that the gelato is made by a man from California, and it is brought in fresh. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and they all look amazing. While I was trying to choose, I was offered many samples, which did help me decide on my choice. I got some gelato for myself and some for my wife, who was patiently waiting at home. While it didn't live up to gelato stand by the Trevi fountain or near St. Marks Basilica in Venice, it was damn good. If you're craving sweets, make sure to check Cravin's Candy Emporium.

I've recently tried more of their candies - the Huckleberry Gems, the Vandal Bar, and the Bronco Bites. I adore how they keep the Idaho pride with their themed candies. I recently went there with my family, and we got a little bit of everything, took it home, and had a cutting to try pieces of all of their chocolates. They even had a bag of toffee shaped like little potatoes. They are very thoughtful about the products they make, and it's all high-quality very delicious! I hear they are doing tours soon (can't wait!), but in the meantime, I frequent the shop to get gifts for clients and friends. Who doesn't love some local candy? My family loves this place.

On Saturday afternoon, a kind gal was at the counter and she showed me the ladies sizes on the floor. In the front wall, there are many samples of numbered t-shirts. Behind her at the counter cubbies, there shirts in several colors available to be pressed with the design of your choice. We chose two womens designs and one men's designs and these were pressed right in front of us. Aside from shirts, we got other goodies as well. I've already written out and mailed most of the postcards we purchased and added things to my little scrapbook. Nice store to visit and shop for Boise, ID stuff!
