Normally, I recommend supporting small local businesses. However, in this case I no longer do. While at the fair this year, I noticed Crones cupboard had a booth set up. Because they are a local business and I was trying to support them. I purchased a ring from them. I have proof of the purchase on my phone unfortunately, the ring was just a little too large. When I went to the local business to exchange for a smaller size I discovered that they do not do returns or exchanges. It's unfortunate that commonsense can't come into play since I have been there three times and a different lady put a ring aside for me from the same vendor that would have fit. (I was hoping for the same style ring to come in and exchange that way) so for the third time I went to the store and was told by Molly a very rude associate that she would not help me. would not refund me would not exchange the ring. Her effort to look for the ring that had been set aside for me was laughable. They have lost a customer. It's unfortunate when policy proceeds common sense. If anyone would like a two large size 7 ring lol it's pretty useless to me. read more

This is the receipt for a plastic Thor figure my brother bought for my daughters birthday gift. When he bought it the cashier said he could return it if she didn't like it. The receipt shows that they do in fact take returns . When I tried to return it because my daughter likes anime not Norse figures, the two females behind the counter said they do not do returns or exchanges at all. When I said the receipt says they do, the short hair female said they don't take sacred items back...I said this is a plastic Thor statue not a sacred figure. She then said they don't take statues back. I said the receipt doesn't say that. She then said the receipt isn't long enough to list everything they won't accept as a return. They lied to my brother as a purchaser and then lied over and over in order to refuse a return that fit the parameters of their receipt returns policy. $ 96.41 for a plastic statue that he was told he could return...bait and switch. read more

Under new ownership! Nothing negative to say in such a relaxing and spiritual place. Old ownership was good, but now that it's under new ownership the shop layout has significantly improved and lots of fun new items to look at. I usually come once every couple of months to fiddle fart around, and it's always close to impossible not to leave without finding something you love or can utilize in your practice. I've also noticed some items are more reasonably priced. I'm always impressed with the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere due to the wonderful staff they have. Shout out to Molly and Aubrey(sorry girl if I spelled it wrong) for whom of which I crossed paths with today. See you soon my favorite metaphysical shop. My only recommendations and things I would love to see in this shop is to add better/ more books! I would've loved to run into books going over the uses of medicinal plants and herbal remedies with how many different types of herbs they have in stock. Maybe other books on crystals and their uses, and maybe some astrology. I also think that a selection of jars/ potion bottles would be beneficial next to the herbs for storage as well as cheese cloths for jars and wrapping. I hear the owner also does healing work upstairs! I am excited to come back and see where the new owner takes this place, and I also wish the old owner well in their retirement years. I love this place. Very good vibes here. I didn't want to get too much since I'm from out of town but I did see some beautiful statuettes of dragons that I might need to make room for in my luggage on my next trip out here. Crone's Cupboard has friendly staff. They do not have many books, literally no astrology books, that could be about on line shopping competitors. They have some cool stuff, but I was kind of disappointed in their exorbitant prices and there were a lot of mediocre things. Maybe I just have everything I need. I really need to find someplace which carries decent candles. read more

Basic book, gem and herb store. Some might think this place is a landmark but honestly most consider it an eye sore. The complaints of uninformed and unfriendly staff as well as its bad customer service are not undeserved. The mark up on items is high to say the least. At one point this store was unquie and could get away with its medicocary in isolated Boise, Idaho. But that was back in 1999. Its seems the old saying "you will reap what you've sown" is well applied here and should have been heeded. read more

Not recommended. First off don't expect to be greeted when you walk in. It's a cool shop as far as the product goes. ie. There's lots of cool trinkets, herbs, incense, tarot cards and other mystical items of that nature, however there is a big problem with customer service. The guy behind the counter is not friendly at all and when asked a question i was given a very rude and condescending answer. On asking follow up questions his answers were very short and un-informative. Poor customer service is one thing, bad customer service is another. If you can't be friendly to the customers than you have absolutely no business running a shop. I would have made a purchase otherwise but since this was not my first bad experience I will take my money elsewhere. read more

An interesting shop, and admittedly not my bag of tricks, but we went shopping for a graduation gift for a friend who loves this theme. Lovely smell wafts throughout the store, and if you have never been it is worth a visit. There are many natural stones, incense, wizardy items and things of that nature, things for clearing bad spirits away and such. The store owner was very helpful and even wrapped the gift we selected nicely for us. Worth a visit and you never know what might strike a chord with you! Check it out. read more
