I'm kind of baffled by all of the negative reviews on here? Every time I go to It'Sugar I feel like a kid an a candy store, only... I'm a grown-up in a candy store haha! They have a huge selection of candy, including old school ones you'll have a hard time finding other places like Pop Rocks, candy cigarettes, and those weird UFO wafers. You can also find novelty items like funny magnets, plush toys, and silly stationary, plus some international candies and branded items like Harry Potter jelly beans, Hello Kitty ramen, collectible Sailor Moon/Dragon Ball Z drinks, and ramune sodas. Plus, the staff is always super nice. It's often pretty busy with families and kids popping in and people stopping by to get candy before a movie, but every time I've been there they have gone out of their way to greet us when we walked in, help us find anything we needed, and chat with us while we checked out. read more

I visited this candy store for the first time today. They have a wide selection of candies as well as some novelty items throughout the store and it has an overall very fun vibe with lively music and colorful item displays. Customer service needs ALOT of improvement though as that left much to be desired. It was not busy at all when I was in the store, but I was not acknowledged by the store associate. I expected her to greet me and perhaps tell me about in store promotions or at least ask if I was looking for something specific, but none of that happened. She wasn't just standing around, though, at least.. she was working on tasks for the store both behind the register and on the sales floor. After browsing the store for a while, I came across items that interested me and went to check out.. the employee still didn't greet me whatsoever or even so much as smile. She told me my total, I paid, she handed me my purchases and I thanked her before leaving which she responded "yeah". It's a shame that the candy store itself is very inviting and exciting, but the employee looked as though she'd rather be anywhere else. read more

I read quite a few reviews on the store prior to venturing out. My mission was to find some outrageously large Halloween candy for the three little boys that live next to me. That Mission failed. They had a lot of cool stuff but not exactly what I was looking for. Some reviews mentioned that it was pricey. At roughly $15 a pound it doesn't seem that much more expensive than paying a dollar for a 1 ounce or 1 1/2 ounce candy bar. In fact you can mix and match whatever you want so that's kind of cool. I didn't have an issue with Price. The one thing most important to note and the only reason I deducted one starfrom what would have otherwise been five stars is that there are items that are quite adult in nature. If there was a sign on the door that said an age minimum I didn't notice it. There were multiple items with the F word on them. And literally a candy box that was called dick in a box. Yes candy penises that you can suck on. The store is certainly not for children or anyone who is offended by such things. On the other hand if you're shopping for a bachelorette party it might be just the right place to go. It's cute. it's bright. it's clean. it's really not all that expensive just know what you're walking into. PS I have limited mobility so I was very grateful to get a spot right in front of the door! Lack of parking is the only reason I don't visit this shopping center more often. read more

I was absolutely disturbed by the filth and liberal political garbage being sold in this "candy store". This place was riddled with the most distasteful, disgusting, trashy products, sold at child eye level. My niece kept asking what certain things meant and I was dumbfounded that these things were even on display. Shame on you! read more

It doesn't matter how old you get, whenever you walk by a candy store you are immediately transported back to childhood! It'Sugar has great curb appeal. The store is bright & has pops of color everywhere! As I walked into the store, I was greeted by 2 employees. One of them offered to be of assistance if I needed it. The store was well decorated and well organized. The walls are adorned with everything from candy to novelty gifts. All of the wall candy is prepackaged. There is a section of gross candy. They carry a yellow, slime like candy packed in a urine sample cup. It was so disgusting & awesome! There is also a bug candy section with scorpion lollipops & chocolate covered crickets. An adult candy section with edible candy bras & panties and a SNL Dick in a Box candy. The center of the store is filled with bins of loose candy. They have a great selection of sour candy & gummies! Impressive amount of variety. You could find something to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. The prices were a bit high. They have a Chinese food take out box that you can fill for $14.99. Overall, I like the store. I'm sure they make a killing especially with all of the teenagers who like to hang out at The Village! If I could, I would have given 3.5 stars. read more

This is a fun *little* place. Man I wish there was a little bit more room inside. There are tons of candy options, over sized options, gag gifts, naughty candy gifts and everything in between. You could browse around forever! There are three large tables filled with loose candy that you can make your own mixed bags out of. A whole table is dedicated to different chocolates. YUM! My two boys loved our time in this little shoppe. We each filled up our own grab bags & sat outside and dug thru our bags trying new things! Thanks for the memories! read more

It'Sugar is a fun new candy store in the Village! Fill full of all kinds of sweet treats for all ages! They have hundreds of packaged candy and hundreds of others that are sold by weight. A Little on the expensive side but what the heck! The staff was very freindly and very eager to help the ankle bitters! So just another great reason to check out the Village! read more

It's sugar gets a five star rating based on the fact that they know what they are and they do it right. Staff Is helpful and will help you find special treats of gift ideas. The bins are great with a ton of variety. I don't have much of s sugar tooth, but I can appreciate the work this business has put into bringing a unique candy store to the village. read more

They have a big selection that's on par with other candy stores in the area. The employees seem nice. I got the impression that the prices here are really high however. I wouldn't mention the price difference if it was just a few cents. Candy purchased here will run you about movie theater price but it will be what you want. I was really shocked at how much more I paid for the candy. read more

We saw this from our table at The Yardhouse and were drawn to it because it seemed like a fun atmosphere & seemed to have candies that I grew up with as a child. We walked around the store really pleased with the selection UNTIL we came upon some "adult" type products. I was really bothered that they had things in that corner that should not be available for children to see. They also had some Anti-Trump toilet paper. We didn't go in looking for politics and there really isn't a need for this in a candy store. If you're going to sell that kind of stuff, have the decency to shelve it where children won't see it. We weren't impressed and left immediately without buying anything. I've been to a great candy store in Scottsdale Arizona and one in Billings Montana and we didn't see anything questionable in either. read more

This review specifically goes to Sierra. Walking into a candy store, I really didn't expect the level of customer service that I got from Sierra. She was beyond helpful and answered any questions I had. She asked me questions and then recommended me different items based on my answers. Kudos to management for training Sierra to be super helpful. Thankyou Sierra for making my visit worth while. :) read more

Out of every store and restaurant in The Village, my kids wanted to go here the most. When they walked into the candy store it was like they were walking into the Willy Wonka chocolate factory. If I was a millionaire I would let them fill their little handheld baskets with colorful sugared treats. But I took one look at the prices and my wallet said nope. unfortunately I've been to Walmart, Winco, and the dollar tree so I just kept comparing prices in my head. But the kids were so excited so I let them each pick out one item. And we waited in line to buy our two items, yes there were two lines because despite the prices parents still buy their kids candy here. Then my kids talked me into a sucker each at the checkout stand, no pun intended. And we went outside and they joyfully opened their sweet purchases and smiled as they ate their one treasured item. So money can't buy happiness, but it can buy candy, and that's pretty much the same thing. read more

This store has a lot of retro candy, but all candy is priced the same (overpriced). If you get cheap hard candy (like banana runts) you pay the same as chocolates with nuts. It's fun to look around the store, but you can get the same candy for 1/4 of the price on Amazon. read more

It's neat to have a large candy shop in Meridian but unfortunately there are too many things I don't want my small kids looking at in the store. In order to stay in business, I would suggest they re-evaluate who their customer base in Meridian, Idaho is and get rid of the trashy merchandise. read more

Man this store is fun to look at, but their customer service is HORRIBLE! I went in to It's Sugar last night with my husband. I saw 2 associates working, we were greeted by the first one with a warm "Hello."... so i thought this would be fun! It all went down hill from there.... We walked around to look at the Harry Potter candy's and drinks that they are. After about 5 minutes of the other associate talking to some guy, that was obviously not a customer, I was able to ask about pricing. Their butter beer is $3.99 a bottle!!!! WHAT?? They are also sold in a 4 pack and by the case, but there are no discount for buying a large quantity. Their bulk is $13.96 a pound which is crazy for gummy bears! They did have some cool "giant" fun gifts, like a huge heresy syrup bottle coin bank and 5 pound gummy bears. Overall... this store is not at all worth going back too unless they amp up there customer service. read more
