We chose 6 flavors and rented their lovely glass containers for the event. It went great! Everything was ready to go and well packaged for transport to and from our event. Folks loved the popcorn! The containers with scoops and flavor labels made everything look great. Even a cute little wood box to display popcorn bags and napkins. It was a big hit!

I panicked for a second until I turned to my right to see the delectable bags of popcorn, all different colors and flavors sitting there in all their copious glory! The best part is that the helpful sales person generously offered samples, which was appreciated. I had no idea since they were hidden in a side room, but grateful for the offer. We had intentions in mind though and instead of splurging on samples, narrowed our requests to align with our mission - caramel and dill pickle! Dill pickle was lightly dusted with the flavor of dill, with just a kiss of pickle. Hubby opted for the salted caramel (a story twist!) and actually loved it. I'm happy to have another "home" to satisfy my obsession with dill pickle popcorn. Trust me, it's great! My only gripe is the clunkiness of the layout (though it is neat to see how they make everything) and would love if the popcorn bags had zip closures to make it easier to reseal and/or "best by" or even "made on" dates added so I can go by freshness. They do, however, offer different kinds of candy and mixed nut snacking combinations, which makes browsing interesting. Expect prices to be a little on the higher side. It was quite weird not to see a sales associate for a good amount of time. We located the bar, she decided against the bar since she can get one local for the same price and almost double in size. When you have multiple customers through out the day going in and out of a bin, it's nice to see that it's clean. I personally don't like candy in bulk cause of potential germ contamination. But honestly, I have boughten candy from this joint and I have never had any issues since they keep it so clean. Their dark chocolate caramels are some of my favorites, and the malts are always delicious. The staff is consistently kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and the young lady managing the store was super friendly and helpful. I explained that I wasn't sure what time they closed because the information on Yelp and Google did not match. She said she would update the operating hours to match. There's a lot of sugar inside, and the sweet aroma smacks you in the face the moment you open the door. I walked around the store, asked a bunch a questions, and then made my way to the gelato. The young lady explained that the gelato is made by a man from California, and it is brought in fresh. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and they all look amazing. While I was trying to choose, I was offered many samples, which did help me decide on my choice. I got some gelato for myself and some for my wife, who was patiently waiting at home. While it didn't live up to gelato stand by the Trevi fountain or near St. Marks Basilica in Venice, it was damn good. If you're craving sweets, make sure to check Cravin's Candy Emporium.

It was perfect timing to stop in for an afternoon caffeinated beverage and a treat. I have been to a lot of parts of Meridian but I didn't even know this shop even existed. Where have I been? This shop is my ideal hang out spot. They have coffee and chocolates, two of my favorite things. And the chocolates here didn't disappoint. They all looked so good. The chocolates were prettily lined up in the bright display case. There was also a variety of packaged goodies too. I'm a visual eater so I like to pick out my own chocolates. Making a decision to which one to get will be the hard part. I got a a couple americanos started for my friend and I. We got iced americanos with sugar free white chocolate and cream. While our drinks were being worked on, I ate my caramel marshmallow milk chocolate heart and checked out all the merch on the floor. I did a run through all the treats in the little paper bags. The chocolate dipped potato chips caught my eye. I love me a sweet and salty treat. I love the Valentines day packaged chocolates. A big red heart full of sweets. There is also cards, art work, stickers and homemade goods. This is a great place to grab a quick and easy gift. My chocolate was so good! The marshmallow, caramel and milk chocolate is such a winning combination. I could have eaten another 2 or 3 pieces but I had some chocolates earlier in the day so I really had to control myself. The americanos looked really good. The sweet gal that made them did a good job. The espresso was very present. The half and half did help with the bitterness of the espresso. The white chocolate was there but I could have used a hair more or a packet of sweetner to make it a tad sweeter. I didn't see any sweetener packets anywhere so I'll have to ask them next time if they have any. But the espresso was just what I needed to keep me going. This venue is very cute. They have all sorts of options here besides coffee and chocolates. There are also Italian sodas, gelato, milk shakes and espresso in a scoop of ice cream. The espresso and ice cream combo is definitely a must try the next time I'm in! There is also a happy hour between 4 to 6 so that will be a great time to come in for a sweet treat. Looking forward to coming back and trying other sweets that are offered here, especially that espresso and ice cream concoction.
