I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and the young lady managing the store was super friendly and helpful. I explained that I wasn't sure what time they closed because the information on Yelp and Google did not match. She said she would update the operating hours to match. There's a lot of sugar inside, and the sweet aroma smacks you in the face the moment you open the door. I walked around the store, asked a bunch a questions, and then made my way to the gelato. The young lady explained that the gelato is made by a man from California, and it is brought in fresh. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and they all look amazing. While I was trying to choose, I was offered many samples, which did help me decide on my choice. I got some gelato for myself and some for my wife, who was patiently waiting at home. While it didn't live up to gelato stand by the Trevi fountain or near St. Marks Basilica in Venice, it was damn good. If you're craving sweets, make sure to check Cravin's Candy Emporium.

I thought it was nice. Last week, I visited the location on Broadway Avenue. It's far exceeded my expectations! The variety and quality of the fruit and vegetables was outstanding. It is the best produce stand I have seen in Idaho. I spent $35 on fresh produce, including morel mushrooms, local purple asparagus, plums, strawberries, Rainer cherries, and several apple varieties. I forgot to take a picture of the strawberries, which were the best I've tasted in ages. The last time I saw produce this outstanding was at one of my favorite businesses in Washington state. That business gets a lot of their fruits and vegetables from Charlie's Produce, as does Fred Meyer's. As it turns out, so does Old Fashioned Fruit & Veg. If you're a produce nerd like me, that will mean something to you. The employees were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM. Highly Recommended!!!
