I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and the young lady managing the store was super friendly and helpful. I explained that I wasn't sure what time they closed because the information on Yelp and Google did not match. She said she would update the operating hours to match. There's a lot of sugar inside, and the sweet aroma smacks you in the face the moment you open the door. I walked around the store, asked a bunch a questions, and then made my way to the gelato. The young lady explained that the gelato is made by a man from California, and it is brought in fresh. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and they all look amazing. While I was trying to choose, I was offered many samples, which did help me decide on my choice. I got some gelato for myself and some for my wife, who was patiently waiting at home. While it didn't live up to gelato stand by the Trevi fountain or near St. Marks Basilica in Venice, it was damn good. If you're craving sweets, make sure to check Cravin's Candy Emporium.

The kids picked out marshmallow pops which were so cute, decorated for Halloween! I picked out a bag of huckleberry chocolates for the hubby! And for myself, truffles! These are the BEST! We split a pumpkin, dirty banana, and a peppermint one. Omgsh so delicious! We also grabbed some chocolate pretzel sticks too. These were also so yummy! I appreciate how affordable literally everything in the shop was. This makes it easier to come back and reward the kids more often. Lady at the front was super friendly and great with the kids. We enjoyed talking with her. The shop is so adorable and decorated. She organizes all her goods in a way that's easy to browse all options without visually overwhelming you. Beautiful displays of hot cocoa containers, chocolate bars and gift boxes of chocolates. Bright display cases of beautifully made chocolates and truffles. Everything looked divine! As much as I wanted to buy a whole pound of chocolates, I knew I couldn't polish off a whole pound by myself. My husband loves chocolate but isn't into anything fancy. I know he wasn't going to help me with a the chocolates I would have picked out. So, I opted to grab a small box of assorted chocolates. The little box I grabbed was simple and delicate. I love the little blue bow on the box. It was just the right amount of goodies for me. And since it's a variety, I get to try a little of everything. I appreciate that they have a list of what was going to be in the box. You get a nice mix of dark and milk chocolate. I'm not going to lie, I opened up that box and had 2 pieces of the dark chocolates drops. No guilt polishing off 2 pieces of chocolate right away. Later I had a milk chocolate drop with cashews I believe and I'm in love. I recall the chocolates I had in the past were fabulous but the chocolates I got today were delicious! And I plan on not sharing the rest of the box with anyone in my house. I was hesitant at the store purchasing a whole pound of chocolate but after eating 3 pieces of it today, I think I'm going to have to grab a pound the next time I come in.
