So when my husband said let's go get ice cream, I knew we had to head here. This joint hasn't changed in the last 15 years. Everything looks the same. Treats everywhere. Toys adding happiness to the joint. The big windows letting all that beautiful sunlight in. The scent of fresh waffle cones and popcorn. It's truly one of the best smells around. Candles need to be made that smell like Goody's. I wouldn't mind my house smelling like this joint. We snagged a couple chocolate covered pretzel sticks. And of course we had to get ice cream! My husband got a double scoop sundae and I grabbed a single. I have the worst sweet tooth so the urge to get two scoops was there! But, I knew my husband would share some of his with me so the single scoop was perfect. The sundaes were so good! It's very nostalgic eating them in the old school glass cups. My husband's sundae had a ton of fudge in it. Both were topped with a hearty amount of whipped cream and cherries of course. The ice cream was so good! It's been a few weeks since we were in. But, I remember it being amazing and the most perfect afternoon treat. Especially having that treat with my husband. The staff was super friendly. They were all just great! The venue of course will always be top tier. A must go to ice cream joint in the north end. It's been too long since I have been in so coming in for our ice cream date was just magical. I hope to be back soon, sooner than 15 years.

Their dark chocolate caramels are some of my favorites, and the malts are always delicious. The staff is consistently kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. While the ice cream can be a little icier and not quite as creamy as some of our other favorite spots in town, we still love coming here. Sitting under the big trees with ice cream in hand is part of the charm, and it keeps us coming back to sit on the patio with our ice cream.

I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and the young lady managing the store was super friendly and helpful. I explained that I wasn't sure what time they closed because the information on Yelp and Google did not match. She said she would update the operating hours to match. There's a lot of sugar inside, and the sweet aroma smacks you in the face the moment you open the door. I walked around the store, asked a bunch a questions, and then made my way to the gelato. The young lady explained that the gelato is made by a man from California, and it is brought in fresh. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and they all look amazing. While I was trying to choose, I was offered many samples, which did help me decide on my choice. I got some gelato for myself and some for my wife, who was patiently waiting at home. While it didn't live up to gelato stand by the Trevi fountain or near St. Marks Basilica in Venice, it was damn good. If you're craving sweets, make sure to check Cravin's Candy Emporium.

This is the store for t-shirts, mugs, knick knacks, snacks, postcards, and more Boise, ID memorabilia. On Saturday afternoon, a kind gal was at the counter and she showed me the ladies sizes on the floor. In the front wall, there are many samples of numbered t-shirts. Behind her at the counter cubbies, there shirts in several colors available to be pressed with the design of your choice. We chose two womens designs and one men's designs and these were pressed right in front of us. Aside from shirts, we got other goodies as well. I've already written out and mailed most of the postcards we purchased and added things to my little scrapbook. Nice store to visit and shop for Boise, ID stuff!

They have a huge selection of candy, including old school ones you'll have a hard time finding other places like Pop Rocks, candy cigarettes, and those weird UFO wafers. You can also find novelty items like funny magnets, plush toys, and silly stationary, plus some international candies and branded items like Harry Potter jelly beans, Hello Kitty ramen, collectible Sailor Moon/Dragon Ball Z drinks, and ramune sodas. Plus, the staff is always super nice. It's often pretty busy with families and kids popping in and people stopping by to get candy before a movie, but every time I've been there they have gone out of their way to greet us when we walked in, help us find anything we needed, and chat with us while we checked out.
