I've just gotta day, I'm from out of town just here to visit. I'm from SoCal. My best western motel here in Fallon recommend this place to eat so I stopped in today. I ordered the Chuckwagon burrito and Tri Tip hash. This burrito is the largest burrito I have ever had and it's the best breakfast burrito I've ever eaten! I'm not into medical food, which fills Sam Diego, so I was so happy to find a breakfast burrito filled with American comfort food style fillings and covered with sausage gravy! The owner is delightful and told me they smoke their own trip tip and make their own sausage. I want to go back tomorrow too! read more

Walked in, walked out! Sign on the door said masks required, unless you have a medical condition. Therefore, if you see someone without a mask, we will assume they have a medical condition and not bother them. Sat down, noticed that no one had a mask. The food was pretty good. We went during the Sunday buffet. They had a pretty good variety of things to choose from. The only complaint that I had was that the sausage gravy was poorly made, it had a really bad flourry taste too it, however that could just have been the cook that morning. The service was wonderful. This place has really great food. Portion sizes are huge! I loved how the cook asked for our feedback on the food. The waitress we had was very sweet and bubbly. They seemed to be pretty busy and she was the only waitress there. She still had a great attitude and was hustling to make sure everyone was checked on and taken care of. The only constructive criticism i can give is they need new seating especially where cushioned seating is against the wall. It is old and sinks in, there is no support. I am pretty stingy when it comes to handing out 5 stars, but this place almost pried one out of me. Ate breakfast there yesterday and I loved the friendliness, family like atmosphere and omg the food was fantastic. And food portions were generous. We were continually offer coffee refills which made me feel they weren't rushing me. But for me personally there was just too much 'stuff' clutter all around. We went here for a late lunch and we both ordered burgers and onion rings. Burgers were great. They grind their own meat and the burgers tasted fresh. Onion rings we hot and great tasting. Service was friendly and fast. Fresh homemade lemonade was perfect mixed with ice tea. Will be there again. Can't wait to try their Friday night dinners. read more

I had hear a lot about this place and the food was very good. My family and I went for breakfast and I loved the chicken fried steak. What I was not in love with was the waitress was cleaning out her nose with a paper towel while talking to the cook. Then she went out a few minutes after and smoked a cigarette. I don't have issues with that so much. What I do have issues with is I never saw her wash her hands. Gross and I probably won't be back. To bad because the food was good. read more

As they settle into their new space I think they are doing a great job with the move. The portions for breakfast will definitely fill you up. Last time my friend and I ate there, they had just moved in and the place was not really ready for prime time. We decided to give it another try today, and WOW! So it is still pretty rough, with obviously used boothes and drapes hanging over the refrigerators (used to be a liquor store?) But these people put their resources where it COUNTS! In the FOOD. A lot of people may know they grind and hand make their sausage, but did you know it was NITRITE FREE? Very important to people like me with a food sensitivity. Also, it was OUTSTANDING! This place is great. Stopped off after driving Route 50 from Eureka,NV. They had a Sunday brunch going. All you can eat for $15.86, which includes the coffee. Now if you are expecting fancy eggs Benedict maybe not. If you want good food, great service and a reasonable cup of coffee this place is for you. I had the tri tip omelette with home fries and coffee, which came out to cost about $12. The portion I received, as well as the quality and flavor blew that price away. The "prime rib" is definitely not a prime cut from a prime animal, its probably choice at best. Everything was ice cold, the salad was gritty, likely from being unwashed, it was also uncut, large stems, and bitter. Just do everyone a favor and close down. read more

Saw some pictures of the Chuckwagon Burrito and enticed to see what that was like. Wow! Their sausage gravy is incredible and they are not shy about stuffing their burrito with ham, sausage, bacon eggs and potatoes. Dropped in the other morning for a try. Ordered the chicken fried steak which is what I use to judge a breakfast joint initially. It came out fast and was delicious. The gravy was tasty and the slab of hashbrowns were perfect...crispy on the outside. I do prefer a thicker steak than they make...double the thickness on it and you've got yourself a 5 star product.
