Volume is the priority and things move fast. Seeing the burgers again (and hearing consistent feedback from people who go regularly), it's obvious these smash burgers are the real deal. Crispy edges, melty cheese, exactly what you want from that style of burger. The fries are also very solid -- which I usually don't even bother ordering with burgers but these are worth it. Sometimes first impressions aren't the whole story. Happy to correct the record here. NOLA is doing something right. After years of corporate chef life, Terry, co-owner and ice cream mix master, and his wife, co-owner, stepped out on their own and created Nice Cream to bring the joys of liquid nitrogen ice cream to our community. It doesn't hur that they're just as sweet as the treats they serve, and they really know how to handle their customers so well, making everyone feel welcome and involved, right down to the youngest! I got to try the S'mores creation that has chocolate ice cream, marshmallows, and of course, graham crackers! The marshmallows don't freeze in the process, which is super cool! I enjoyed it a lot.
