It's 6 months…read moreafter she BUTCHERED my cut and color, and I am still trying to get back to where I was before she messed up my hair. I asked Danette to simply refresh my partial highlights, root touch, and trim. I never asked to go darker or have her cover the previous years and thousands of dollars of highlights I have. Danette pulled out the brown color swatches and told me my natural color was more of a 6 Ash not a 6N, which was what my previous stylist had been doing for several years. She said it would it would not darken my hair but rather look more natural with to do 6 Ash for the brown. I took her advice since I thought she was a professional and knew better. I've gotten my hair done many times, and the stylist usually does the partial highlight and then the root color. I started to get nervous when Danette put brown dye on my entire head, root to tip, covering my highlights! I politely said, "I'm a bit nervous because I see you're coloring the brown down to my tips when I only wanted a root touch up and you're covering my highlights." She reassured me that she had been doing hair for 20+ years and this was her process and that she would "pop the highlights through after" and not to worry. I once again trusted the so-called professional, even though I now see I should've walked out then as my instincts were completely right - she was doing something wrong. The stylist who did my color correction said, "Danette should have her license revoked, and I do not say that lightly." Danette went rogue and did not provide the service I asked for. She also refused to refund so now I want to warn others. She wanted me to let her try and fix my hair but the problem was: 1) I left for a trip early the next morning and the point of getting my hair done was for this trip and, 2) I lost trust in her so I did not want her to touch my hair again.

As a first time visitor, I have to say I also appreciate the friendly atmosphere and how I was truly made to feel beautiful. I did not want to cut them. Also these are my natural nails no tips nothing fake. I just get the UV gel on top to make them strong. This woman proceeded to cut my nail after I told her numerous times that this was my real natural nails, and I did not want to cut them because it was my birthday that I will cut them the next service she proceeded to file my nails down so bad that I have a bad indentation on all of my nails, which I never got with UV gel she filed the Apex all the way down so that the nails would break or lift and I would have to come back for new service. I tried to explain to her that it wasn't right she did not care and she overcharged me. I usually pay $60-$70 she charged me $120 for a basic UV gel fill with gel polish. I felt very disrespected. I felt unheard. I understand that the Caucasian community is the primary customer in your area, but you should treat everyone with respect. I did not like how you guys talked about me and laughed. It was my birthday and I just wanted to look nice. All of my nails broke down the middle exactly the same length on everyone because of how she filed my nails down the day before my birthday and i got my nails done three days before my birthday. I've never seen a nail tech do that. I don't recommend anybody to go here. As with most salons there was a selection of professional products that were on display to buy but none of the workers made it their life's mission to sell it.
