Due to the current virus hair washing and a Blow out were impossible. I understood. The day I went the location was rather warm, especially due to the required face mask. I was perspiring. I can forgive all of this. The real problem was I offered a picture of what I wanted and she stated she understood. The final result was not what I wanted, nor was it like the picture. It was too short. I even asked how much experience she had and I was told she had been doing it 25 years. Wow. I'm not sure what happened. The final straw was when I was leaving she said I owed her $35.00. Not the agreed upon price. I reminded her of the arrangement discussed. Donna complied with hesitation. I gave her $30.00. More than fair I felt. I was told next time it would be $35.00 (plus a tip of course). No worries, I won't be back. Reminder, there was no wash or blow out. Overall I didn't feel listened to. My suggestion to Donna is more listening and less talking by the stylist about everything but what I wanted. I am not looking for a new friend, I just wanted a hair cut similar to my request. Final thought, she recommended getting a trim every three weeks. I am not made of money, I am on disability and that is a silly recommendation Especially after I told you I am Lucky to go every eight weeks. She was trying to push for a follow up.
