But the cut was not as I imagined at all. I asked for a long layered wolf cut and the end product my hair looks more or less the exact same but more messy. Some pieces of my hair are choppy and uneven, with two front pieces being completely different lengths, and one side of my head is choppy and not blended at all. I noticed my hair looked the same so I asked her to make the layers more short and dramatic, and it didn't turn out well. Alissa was a very nice person but this is not what I wanted! I'm very sad about it and I don't know what to do.

My daughter was quoted $100, and was charged $188 for the extra time it took to detangle the matting caused by them. The owner and technician then threatened to charge her even more if she proceeded with the blow out and press. My daughter left the salon with her hair in two braids after paying nearly $200. My daughter was very upset, so I called the owner Stavros (multiple times over the course of several days) to better understand what happened and how we could come to some reconciliation given the convenient location close to the college campus. When he finally called me back, he continued to blame my daughter for the matting of her hair caused by his employee's inexperience, and his solution was for my daughter to wash and condition her own hair and return for a blowout and pay another $100 which is MORE than the advertised cost of a "Bestie blowout". Unbelievable. Don't be a casualty of their poor service, poor skills, vague pricing, and awful customer engagement.

I was doing a Brazilian waxing and I asked her if she has sometime to do my eyebrows, she was very helpful and offered some extra time to do my eyebrows. She is an artist, she did them exactly the way I wanted them to be. She used hard wax and it was great experience! Usually my face turns red when I do regular or threading but this time it was fine. She used calming spray with cotton which also helped a lot. I highly recommend going to her if you want Brazilian or eyebrows done. She is professional! Another service with Jillian Haircut! First I need to say that I needed an extremely early appointment 6 AM (for real) they do not even open until 8 AM, but they were extremely understanding, helpful, supportive, and they really care about your needs! So they scheduled me for an 6 AM morning to do my hair! The haircut itself was fabulous, last year I did very bad haircut and I wanted to grow it so I can fix it, I only trusted Jillian to do my hair which I am glad I did at the end. I saw her for hair consultation before and I felt she understands your needs and she really cares about what you want to have. Also, she seems that she is very knowledgeable about the new haircut trends and modern styles. She did an amazing job fixing the old hair cut, she followed my direction exactly regarding the length and the results are amazing! The haircut is done perfectly! And I did hair style with her as well, I was thrilled that she did exactly what I had in my mind, even though I haven't showed her any pictures, just explained what I want! As others have noted, the salon itself is lovely. It's on the second floor, with lots of natural light and views of Westcott Street. I came first thing in the morning so finding parking was a breeze, but I think you'll be able to find a spot within a short walk anytime. It looks like they have drinks (including mimosas) available for customers but it was first thing in the morning so I didn't partake. I went for a simple trim with layers, and it took about 1/2 an hour including the wash. The price was as listed, and actually a little lower than comparable salons in the area of the same quality.
