This salon DOES NOT know how to do long layers. If you have medium length or short length hair, it might be okay. If you have long hair. Save yourself the snotty arrogant advice of Leann and the tears that you will bawl after coming home extremely devastated from the haircut she gives you. She even tells you that every thing you want done to your hair "isn't feasible". Best advice is to go to a different salon.

You can tell when your stylist knows her stuff and asks you where you part your hair, how you do you hair each day, etc. The salon is very modern looking and is kept up very well. this is a brunette to blonde dye job gone horribly wrong. As you can see from the photos my hair is…read moreorange and has about 2-3 inches of very dark visible root. I booked Lisa to do a full highlight and tone for my brunette to blonde transition. After my initial foil, and blow dry we both realized her initial highlights did not lift as she expected. My roots were very dark and noticeable and my ends were yellow. After getting rather upset(and tearing up) Lisa agreed to paint some additional highlights at the ends and add some "baby highlights" into the base to break things up. After the second processing my hair appeared brittle, and was now a very brassy red orange with chunks of white streaks and my roots were very noticeably dark brown. At this point I had been in the chair for 4 hours and was hoping I would get home and be able to decompress and look at the hair in a proper light. It was then I realized that I essentially paid for yellow hair, with dark roots (I look like I had blonde hair that had grown out for a month). I sent Lisa a message within 24 hours. She suggested I use purple shampoo and said she would need to think about what could be done to repair my hair, and stated she couldn't get me in for about 2 weeks. Given the condition of my hair and important interviews I had coming up this was not acceptable. She was not accommodating or sincere with reguards to my hair, nor did she acknowledge this was probably not her best work. I will now have to see a specialist to highlight the roots and repair her color. I would reccomend not seeing Lisa if you're transitioning from brown to blonde because you will end up paying someone else to fix it

They'll also do tattoos. I've been going to Matt for years at Utopia in Liverpool for beard trims. He's honestly the only guy I trust to trim my beard. He's a great barber as well, and he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He's extremely personable and easy to get along with. Along with hair, one of Matt's other passions is tattoos, something we both have in common. He's heavily tattooed, so when he opened his studio, he decided he wanted to give it a little twist and have it double as a tattoo studio. There are three spots in the back where you can get some ink after getting a fresh trim. When I went in, he had just opened and no one else was there, but he did have a female stylist AND tattoo artist lined up to start very soon. He's made the space extremely cozy, with a sleek, modern look and cooler full of drinks and a coffee station in the front. His prices have gone up slightly since opening his own place, but that's to be expected and his work and the experience he provides is 100% worth it. I recommend him to anyone.
