Everything is clean and the entire salon is well maintained. We had a wonderful consultation and Laurie, the owner, really listened to everything I wanted and everything I was concerned about. My hair is thinning and dry and curly and I am so pleased with my cut. A few inches off and some well places layers and I am so happy with my new look. As others have noted, the salon itself is lovely. It's on the second floor, with lots of natural light and views of Westcott Street. I came first thing in the morning so finding parking was a breeze, but I think you'll be able to find a spot within a short walk anytime. It looks like they have drinks (including mimosas) available for customers but it was first thing in the morning so I didn't partake. I went for a simple trim with layers, and it took about 1/2 an hour including the wash. The price was as listed, and actually a little lower than comparable salons in the area of the same quality. I don't get my hair cut super often, but I'd definitely come back here!

It's absolutely gorgeous, with windows that bring in great natural light, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere. Doug, the owner of Wescott Barber, played a huge role in bringing this salon to life, and you can see the craftsmanship in every detail.
