Made the crème brûlée it was so good. I definitely think I will cook it longer next time. The crust needs to get harder. Go try it so far in two twos I have cooked several times things and it was delicious

Wildfork is everything a meat and seafood lover could ask for. Their products are fresh frozen and the high quality is evident. They offer every cut of beef, chicken, and pork you could ever need. They have exotic meats such as elk, bison, boar, and ostrich just to name a few. There are recipe cards and the knowledgeable staff will give you preparation advice if you need it. The store is spotless. All of their freezer cases are clearly labeled to make it easy to find what you are looking for. Try the picanha, a tender beef that you can add a flavorful chimichurri sauce to. They have gnocchi and zucchini noodles. So many kinds of fish and shrimp. They have dozens of spice mixtures for purchase as well as take and bake quick appetizers which would be perfect for holiday gatherings. I purchased my Thanksgiving turkey breast from them and can't wait to try it. They offer vegetable sides and breakfast waffles stuffed with apple or creme fillings. Their staff is wonderful. This is the perfect place to purchase your holiday meats and fish from.

Good selection of frozen meats, sides, desserts, veggies, and heat-and-serve individual and family meals. Some really tasty selections. We loved the Mediterranean gnocchi. Great customer service. The store is laid out well with wide aisles, and great lighting.

Wild Fork opened in Mount Prospect 2 weeks ago located across from Randhurst shopping center. The store is clean, bright and well organized. Upon entering we were greeted by Carey, who explained to us about their products, pointed out recipe cards spread throughout the store. Wild Fork mamages the entire meat/seafood process. They select the farms to packaging Nd freezing. They promote consistency and high quality. They have prepared individual meals, hourdourves, meats, large selection of seafood, sausages, and chicken. They also have a variety of unusual meats, beef heart, whole pigs, elk, bison, lamb and many meats I was not familiar with. My husband and I first reviewed all the products in the store and than started over to make our selections. The prices are clearly displayed and all of the workers were extremely friendly and helpful. Carey was especially helpful and accommodating throughout our visit. Looking forward to trying our purchses.

The meats are genuinely impressive, flavorful and abundant, and easily the reason to go. The salad bar is more functional than memorable, but that almost feels beside the point. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. There's plenty of parking, which makes it easy and stress-free to visit, and the restaurant itself is always spotless and well kept including the restrooms. One thing that really stands out for our family is how autism-friendly and understanding the staff are. We have an autistic son, and the team here has always been patient, kind, and very aware of our needs. That level of understanding means so much to families like ours and makes dining out a truly enjoyable experience. The food is absolutely delicious. The steak is incredible juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. It honestly rivals some of the best steakhouses we've been to and no I'm not afraid to admit that. The salad bar has tons of fresh options, so there is something for everyone, and everything is well stocked and presented beautifully. Now then sangria is fantastic. It's refreshing, light, and perfectly balanced, not overly strong, which actually makes it even more enjoyable to sip with a meal. Between the welcoming atmosphere, clean space, amazing food, and thoughtful staff, this place is a gem. We will absolutely continue coming back again and again. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and a restaurant that truly makes guests feel comfortable and valued. You won't regret coming!

BEST BUTCHER SHOP AROUND -- HANDS DOWN!…read more Dorfler's Meats has been my go-to butcher shop for the past few years, and honestly, I can't imagine shopping anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, the owners and staff treat you like family -- not just customers. It's beyond refreshing to go to a meat shop that truly does it right, from start to finish. The quality is unmatched. I happily travel well out of my way just to stock up on their incredibly fresh meats, top-tier seafood, and the ready-made, home-cooked meals that make weeknights (and weekends) so much better. And let's not forget the deli counter -- WOW. The sandwiches are next-level delicious, and the homemade salads are always fresh, flavorful, and addictive. If you're shopping for the holidays, Dorfler's is an absolute must. Their Prime Tenderloin roasts are unreal -- exceptional quality, fair pricing, and you can truly tell how much care and craftsmanship goes on behind the scenes. It's the kind of place where excellence isn't an accident -- it's the standard. The staff is nothing but helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. From outstanding customer service at the counter to unforgettable meals at my family's table, we have nothing but positive things to say about Dorfler's Meats. Thank you to everyone at Dorfler's for all you do to stay open, keep raising the bar, and continue showcasing exciting, seasonal products that we look forward to all year long. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out -- HIGHLY recommend!

BUYER BEWARE! Most of the staff is rude and the entire business is a scam. Find a local farmer and…read morepurchase meat from them instead. Our household shopped at Dorfler's for 13 years. It always felt a little strange that they never had pricing visible. Every other butcher I have ever been to since childhood has always had prices visible. You would go in, order, and pay whatever they charge you at checkout. But the products were good enough and I was happy to support a local business. Over the years we have ordered a beef tenderloin roast during the holiday season when it is on sale for $34.99/lb. It has always been very pricey but (as far as we know) we were never cheated on the price and the product the way we were this year. We ordered one 3lb beef tenderloin roast. We were explicit when placing the order that we wanted one piece of meat that was 3lbs. The person who took the order was rude but seemed to understand the request. When we got the roast home I did the math because the bill was a lot more than expected. We were charged over $41/lb. When I called to ask about why the price was so high I was put on hold and the rude man that picked up next told me "it's trimmed. We charge you for the weight before trimming." This means Dorfler's supposedly trimmed off about 3/4 lb of fat. That is a lot of fat to trim off of a 3lb roast and if I was going to be charged for it why was the fat not offered to me as part of my order? Unfortunately, we accepted this explanation. The roast was wrapped in butcher paper which we did not open because we put it straight in the freezer for a week before defrosting it. We finally opened the butcher paper on New Year's Eve to prepare the roast to have on New Year's Day and were appalled that Dorfler's clearly lied to us. There were 3lbs of meat in two small roast each vacuum sealed in plastic by their distributor. This means that Dorfler's not only WAY overcharged us for the amount of meat we received, they also charged us for 3/4lb of fat they never really trimmed off. I am not even sure why they bothered with the butcher paper at all, except they probably charged us for that, too. If I could give Dorfler's zero stars I would. Also the obvious direct response to this negative review is a pathetic attempt to save face regarding your tenderloin roast "sale." Patricia W. is likely related. Why else would she disagree with facts? Dorfler's is nothing but a lying bunch of cheats who screw their loyal customers every chance they get. Some just haven't figured it out yet. And now they blocked me on Facebook. Keep it up guys. You are proving how crooked you are and how you can't handle the truth being told about your disgusting business of cheating loyal customers.
