I called and they confirmed that they had it in stock, so I took the 20 minute drive. As soon as I saw the place I knew I would like it. The place is not too small, not too large.! They make good use of their freezers, meat counters and shelves, stocking them with all kinds of tempting choices, including soups and other ready to go homemade meals, neatly packaged and displayed along with ingredients listings, etc. A nice lady was busy restocking some of these items. I expressed my admiration for the food choices, and she explained that one man in the back, makes everything. Another young man had already set me up with my andouille, but I was checking things out. I ended up with their "Chicken Supreme" prepared meal. I had it for lunch today and it was fabulous. The andouille sausage was also a winner in my rice and beans. I also picked up some homemade red cabbage, German potato salad, and what the heck, why not - one yellow onion, Just because it was there, The meats and deli items all looked so great. The workers were efficient, friendly, and organized. I'm sure they to an excellent business. How wonderful to have a place like this in your neighborhood. Despite the distance, I know I'll be back.
