One side is like a candy/ice cream store and the other is a restaurant. The candy store is one that has old timey candy that I remember eating as a kid. They also serve Blue Bell ice cream (of course). The food smelled good that was being served on the restaurant side.

The parking lot was almost full. When we walked in, a sign directed us to seat ourselves but before we could go so, lovely staff greeted us and engaged with us. We chose a cute booth in the back that was made out of recycled bus seats. Also next to us was a wall of honor/history/fun. Don't miss it. It's so fun! Our server was knowledgeable, and engaging. Based on her recommendations we tried the bacon (Yum!!) Biscuits (don't miss!!) ranch potatoes, hash browns & the chicken honey biscuits (wow!!). Portion sizes are large freshly made. They know what they are doing here. The owner was raised in the area, trained at prestigious Le Cordon Bleu and returned back into her roots to open the establishment, worth a day trip to see the bluebonnets and take in a meal. What the shameful part was that the employees were very unfriendly and disgruntled. I mean, how hard can it be to serve ice cream to patrons, especially little kids who are so looking forward for a treat. The world can be so cruel and harsh and unfair for these workers, to be so upset and bored at work. Do yourself a favor blue bell!!!! Replace and hire others who actually would enjoy working at a creamery/ parlor.
