Delicious brunch foods and service was outstanding! Went in on a Saturday around noon and there was no wait which was great because it was packed. The server was very helpful and answered all of our questions. There were so many options and everything smelled great and looked great coming out for others. Ended up with the steak and egg meal and it was cooked to perfection and even came with a muffin which was very fresh and hot. Oh my gosh. Wild Eggs really took me by surprise! We arrived around 10 am on a Sunday after seeing how highly rated it is on Yelp. We were told it would be about a 20-30 minute wait but it actually ended up only being about 15 mins (isn't it the best when that happens?). I started with a simple cup coffee. I feel like the quality of a coffee says a lot about a breakfast spot and the coffee here did not disappoint. It was so smooth, flavorful and I love that we were given our own coffee pot for the table. We started with the skillet cinnamon roll and it was as amazing as it looks and sounds. I ended up ordering the Kalamity Katie' s border benedict and I'm so glad I did! The poached eggs were served on green chili cheddar cornbread with chorizo, queso, pico, sour cream, and avocado. ***moment of silence for this masterpiece.*** Honestly, didn't pay much attention to what everyone else got because I was in lala land enjoying my meal, but I do know my husband got the buffalo chicken omelet (epic) and really enjoyed it. Aside from the food, what really took everything from a ten to an eleven was our amazingggg server Cyn. Her sparkly personality made the entire dining experience so fun. You could tell she was genuinely happy to be there and to be interacting with us. If you ever find yourself in Louisville KY and looking for brunch, don't sleep on Wild Eggs! Less than impressed. My friend and I were brought our food. Her's was correct but mine had the wrong style eggs. I waited 10 minutes for our waitress to come back and check that everything was okay but I had to take my own dish back to the kitchen. The waitress came back after a few minutes and said they brought me the wrong one. My good wasn't hot and my friend already finished hers. I love Wild Eggs, and have been to a few locations. Been to the Westport one twice now and Floyd St a few times as well. The service is always spot-on and so is the food! The wait can be draining (think 1hr on weekends,) but we arrived at 9am on Labor Day and legit had a 1 minute wait. "LET'S PROCEED SHALL WE?" I didn't get any alcohol but their mimosas are not skimpy. The other cocktails for breakfast look yummy and i don't drink coffee but I loved he idea of all of the liquor-infused coffee drinks. We did get the OJ though.. you have to at Wild Eggs. HAVE to. *stares intently* I've gotten many different options, and I don't really think you can go wrong. Amongst other stuff, I've had wild berry crepes, Zax basic breakfast, farmers skillet (wouldn't recommend,) cinnamon roll, turkey sausage, etc. This time we ordered a Surfer Girl omelette for me with skillet potatoes and an Everything muffin. My partner got the Bananas Foster Waffle and extra potatoes with a side english muffin (the man will turn anything into a sandwich) Sooo good. I never get omelettes but the pico, avocado, sour cream, all the veggies inside made it stand out to me. The waffle was sweet but not overly so! I'm just not the biggest fan of sweet breakfasts. The muffin was killer. Potatoes could have been a taaad crispier. The quality is great for the low price point.. 'cept that $4 OJ. I cry, but I digress! Wild eggs - my go to breakfast place when visiting the Louisville 'mall area' - love their open seating, ambiance and the service. The menu is a traditional breakfast/brunch menu with plenty of options - including HUGE omelets, some creative egg options, pastries and more. The eggs benny were a fave of my wife and I always choose the huge combo breakfast so I can get plenty of everything. The must-order item (and I unabashedly order it as a separate item/appetizer) is the skillet cinnamon roll. HUGE. HOT. And of course the most important item: TONS AND TONS of icing. It's gooey greatness in a hot skillet. Coffee and drink options are plentiful but slightly expensive. The breakfast itself is perfect. Wild eggs is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Louisville. They just started doing call ahead seating/get in line on their website and it's a total game changer. Normally on a weekend, the wait is 30+ minutes but we were able to get our name on the list and got seated soon as we got to the restaurant. My husband and I are pretty consistent with what we order but I decided to change it up a little today and went with a breakfast burrito Instead of the hot brown. I was very happy with my choice today (although the hot brown is still #1 in my heart) it was filled with eggs, chorizo, peppers and onions - topped with queso, pico and some avocado. My husband stayed true to his chilaquiles. He always gets both chicken and chorizo. We had the grits of the day (which were sausage, bacon and cheese) and a cinnamon roll. Sitting here for 25 minutes waiting to order. Looking around and it's dirty, staff needs a better dress code, and it's not a relaxed environment at all. I ordered the Hot Brown, which I order at any restaurant I go to if on menu, I would give it a 5 out of 10 at best. Ordered a Kentucky Hot Brown. For the egg option on top went with scrambled. The sauce was done with cheddar, believe it was classified as a Mornay Sauce. Open faced sandwich with both turkey and bacon. Piece of bread/ toast at the bottom. First time eating a Kentucky Hot Brown and was very pleased!! Got a Bloody Mary to drink since it was prime brunch hours. Seasoned well pretty spicy. Thought the garnish of spicy pickles, olive and banana peppers, lime slice could have been more hefty but I'm drinking in Kentucky not Wisconsin after all. I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed this Wild Eggs location, because I have eaten here before. But, better late than never! We recently visited Wild Eggs for their Burger Week burger! Their burger is the Poblano Burger. This is a half pound patty topped with a poblano pepper, pico de Gallo, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle mayo, served on a brioche bun with crispy tortilla strips. Sadly, our burger didn't come with the pico or tortilla strips, like advertised. It was still delicious and really wasn't a big deal, though! This burger was a great way to kick off Burger Week. On other occasions I have had the chicken and waffles, and the Mr. Potato Head Casserole. Both of which are amazing! Overall, Wild Eggs is always a solid choice for breakfast/brunch/lunch! read more

Went today with my niece. Food was good, I have the special and she had the yellow submarine. Good serving sizes- if not a on the big side. The restaurant is pretty loud, there were times it was hard to hear at the table. Our waitress was really good, was there when we needed but not too much! The only thing lacking was the latte. I've been to work eggs many times and I always eventually forget their coffee bar isn't the best at making drinks. Stick with the regular coffee from now on. read more

We love Wild Eggs. We have breakfast here at least once every trip we take to the area. It reminds us of Egg Harbor, but better (plus they serve alcohol). I've tried the Bloody Mary and was a little disappointed as it didn't come with olives. I've tried something different every time I have stopped in and have not been disappointed. I really enjoyed the chillaquilles. The little shot glass of juice is interesting as I have never seen it served like that before, but it was delicious. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast/brunch. The mall also has some Wings if you're interested in those as well. read more

This review is specific to this location, but this is one of the few chain restaurants where I've noticed incredible consistency from location to location (hence the five stars) Visiting Wild Eggs is a trip down breakfasts' finest culinary lane. Every meal I've had has been expertly prepared, and I've never walked away unhappy. On this journey I had a create your own omelette, which came complete with some delicious home potatoes, and their signature Everything Muffin. I don't normally like muffins/breads/carbs, but I make an exception for that muffin. Omelette light and fluffy yet filled w the toppings I chose, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned w care. So much food it's hard to finish, so it's definitely good value. Going on a weekend AM can be tough (no reservations, and it's a popular spot). Pro tip -- if you're a single or just a couple of people, the breakfast bar is First Come First Served and you may shorten your wait by checking this out first. Service is always fantastic here, and Natalie at the breakfast bar was fast, friendly and did an amazing job keeping up w us. Would highly recommend this for breakfast or brunch!! read more

I don't know how I've not reviewed Wild Eggs yet! This is my most visited brunch location. I absolutely love everything I've tried here! I usually go on Saturday mornings between 10 and 10:30, and there is typically a 20-30 minute wait. There are plenty of parking spaces at this location, although not all are near the entrance. As far as the menu, I get their side of hash brown casserole every time I go. I love the flavor, and it's the perfect amount of crisp for me. I have had the Wild Berry Crepes, Biscuits & Gravy, Stuffed French Toast, Cinnamon Roll, and Strawberry Tall Cakes. All have been amazing! The portions are generous, and the prices are fair. I also appreciate that Wild Eggs offers gluten-free options as my sister has Celiac disease. Their orange juice is perfectly tangy and sweet, and I enjoy their mimosas as well! I will say the environment can be loud, but it has never interfered with my ability to hold a conversation. Additionally, staff has been efficient and kind every time I have gone. I actually had the same server both times I went, and while I can't remember her name (it might...maybe...be April?), she was very friendly and on top of things! Both times I got the same food....the wild mushroom and goat cheese scramble with truffle oil. Gosh dang delicious!! Always, a side of bacon. I asked for it crispy and it could have used a bit longer...but my bacon loving self ain't gonna turn it way. It still tastes like bacon. And coffee. Always coffee. I love that they bring a carafe of coffee to the table so I have control over my refills and they don't have to constantly be refilling the small coffee mugs at all the tables. Prices are decent and the portions are MORE than generous. I always have leftovers to bring home.And what I really love, for a sit down restaurant, is that they have TO-GO COFFEE CUPS.
