Potato Head Casserole
Elle J.

Stopped in with my littles around 10am on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded at all! Staff were friendly and our food came out quickly! The Potato Head Casserole was delicious and perfectly cheesy! The eggs on top make it much more filling! The kid's breakfast portions were huge and they had plenty leftover to take home. The atmosphere is very chill! Enjoyed our time and am looking forward to coming back!

I was looking for a breakfast place and this restaurant looked very promising. I went in and it was very clean, spacious and the lighting was great. The service was good and the food was delicious. They have fresh orange juice and it is depicted in the pictures. The latte was delicious and made to order. The only reason I gave them 4 star it is because the bathroom was dirty. It seemed as someone brushed their teeth or a periodical wash as you could see hair and food particles.

Potato casserole, breakfast tots, wild mushroom egg scramble, and blueberry muffins were the favorites. The egg scramble was cooked well with a good amount of mushrooms and goat cheese. The potato casserole as a side is a generous slice, and is well balanced in its seasoning. The cheese flavor in it is so nice. The breakfast tots are an indulgent item and worth every calorie. It's great! The blueberry muffins were so good I had to go back for seconds. It was a tad sweeter than a typical muffin, but not too much. It was light and airy inside, and not dense like other muffins I've had at breakfast places. Overall, a great place for breakfast. The dining area is spacious inside and it was easy to find parking. Employees were friendly too.

I love their menu and often indulge in their seasonal specials. I do like that you can get the traditional breakfasts as well as the more innovative dishes. Prices are resonable, the food quality is good and the portions are generous. I especially love their grits of the day. They do have the best grits on any given day. I also enjoy their libations. Nothing better than to start the day with a stiff drink. The problem seems to be with reservations, regardless of the location. Why squeeze 8 people around a table that barely has room for 6 when half the restaurant is empty. I mean I could understand if it was really busy or we didn't have a longstanding reservation.

The service was awesome! When I go to a new breakfast place I almost always order a classic Benedict. It's a yardstick I use to compare restaurants. Wild Eggs didn't disappoint. The Benedict was absolutely delicious. The eggs and the hollandaise sauce was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to try the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict!

I got the strawberry tall pancakes and they were good! They taste like the strawberry toothpaste I use. However, the water tastes like what my 5th child would call "skipidi". The people were nice. The restaurant had a good ambiance to it. My children were very amused with the drawings on the kids menu, even my 22 year old! My 6th child's drew Duolingo, which she has a 3 day streak on learning Japanese because she likes the anime My Hero Academia.

It's been a few years since I've visited any Wild Eggs location and my first time at this one. When we arrived, I requested a booth if one was available and I think that annoyed the hostess because she didn't speak another word to us as she grabbed menus and walked towards a back, corner booth. She sat the menus on the table and walked away. A server greeted us and took our drink orders, but then a different server returned with our drinks and introduced herself. I jokingly asked if we'd run the other server off and she explained that she was taking over her closing shift. I believe they closed at 3pm that day and the server who didn't take our table was still there sweeping and performing other tasks after we had paid and were leaving. I found that a bit odd, but our server was very kind and attentive. I ordered the featured mimosa, which was the Strawberry Lemonade Mimosa. It was delicious and refreshing. I usually order the Potato Head Casserole (superior!), but I wanted to try something different, so I ordered Kelly's Quesadilla with chorizo. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan. I enjoy breakfast tacos and quesadillas, but only when the ingredients are kept separate and not all scrambled together. The fresh salsa served on the side helped out some, but I ultimately wasted half of the meal. My fiance ordered a classic breakfast in the form of The Mad Platter. I'm happy he did because he had plenty of food to share with me! I had some bacon, home fries and a few bites of the very soft & fluffy pancakes! Everything was delicious. Overall, we liked it enough to return and give it another try. Next time I'll order my original favorite, the Potato Head Casserole!!!

This spot was dropped into seven of my bookmarked collections! Great for dine-in, but check your takeout order before you leave the store! They did leave 2 waffles out of our order on my 2nd visit. Their hot sauce/syrup is different and will open up your sinuses. The wait staff was really nice. Be prepared to wait for a table. The dining area is small for weekend crowds and can be a bit, but is otherwise quite cozy during the week.

Mornings easily lands in my top three breakfast spots…read more The space is clean and nicely decorated, with a welcoming, cozy feel. Andrea was incredibly kind even at 7 AM, which says a lot. The coffee is strong, fresh, and exactly what you need to start the day. The breakfast burrito is massive (seriously, it could feed an army), the pancakes are fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth good, and the hash browns are perfectly done. Everything came out quickly, thanks to Froy and Eduardo in the kitchen. I made sure to tell them how great the food was, and their big smiles said it all you can tell they genuinely care about both quality and service. There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. If you're feeling a little lazy but still want a great breakfast, Mornings is the place. Go say hi to Andrea, Froy, and Eduardo, you'll be treated to a breakfast that feels like something your grandma made for you on a Sunday morning.

So...we ordered carryout (onlyb1 person had to get dressed...lol). Everything was packaged well in aluminum foil bowl with the plastic covers. There were 4 orders, but only 2 sets of plastic ware (just a note, not a reason for 4 stars not 5) The food was delicious. I shared my crispy potatoes with my cousin because they forgot hers (first reason for 4 stars not 5) with the order. My veggie omelette was light and fluffy. I added cheese, which was melted on top instead of being incorporated with the veggies (another reason for 4 stars not 5). The pancakes were good, too...light and fluffy. My cousins enjoyed their meals as well - one of the bowls (Portuguese, I think), steak and eggs, chilequilles. The only complaint was that it wasn't clear while ordering that the meat shown in the photo of the chilequilles was not included, so my cousin was disappointed when it was missing (3rd reason for 4 stars not 5). I definitely recommend this restaurant, just make sure to check your carryout order before leaving to make sure everything you expected was i there.

The gumbo was chocked full of seafood and the salad had the most delightful jalapeño vinaigrette. It usually comes with honey mustard but they were out. Happy mistake. That dressing was soooooo good! Honestly, I don't think I've ever enjoyed a salad dressing more. The only thing better than the food was the service. Sydney... "like Australia," as she introduced herself was attentive, personable, and made the experience memorable. I returned a few days later for Sunday brunch and ordered what I thought would be a larger salad. Unfortunately, it missed the mark - completely. There simply weren't enough greens to justify calling it a salad. On this visit, the service was noticeably slower. Our orders arrived at different times, some items were incorrect, and we were initially charged for things we didn't order. Thankfully, everything was addressed once we reviewed the bill. So, yeah.... We'll be back... ideally when Sydney is behind the bar! Give that girl a raise!

I love the small town feel!! The restaurant vibe reflects the town. Everyone is very welcoming. I didn't catch bartenders name, but she was very friendly to everyone at her bar. She told us her favorites on the menu. I appreciated her knowledge about the restaurant and the menu. The bar area seemed a little dark, but that actually enhanced the experience of an old bar. We only sat in the bar area, I believe there is additional seating in another room, but I didn't look. I opted for a grilled tenderloin and a cup of beer cheddar jalapeño cheese soup. The sandwich's are Ala carte. The sandwich was bigger than I expected, that would have been enough for lunch. The trick with grilled tenderloin is that many times it is over cooked, so it is dry. This was cooked to perfection; cooked but still moist. The sandwich, with the "garden" was awesome. Now to the soup. I think she said they use wee Mac as the beer. The jalapeño was puréed. There was crispy bacon crumbled on top; I did not care for the bacon. The soup was odd to me as I was eating it. Because of the texture, it reminded me of corn chowder. There was a little spice/flavor from the jalapeño. What was odd to me, was it didn't wow me like I thought it would, but I kept eating it. So in the end, I think I really liked it bc I ate all of it!!! The menu is not large, but has a good variety for its size. The desserts were impressive, I just didn't have room for it. I could easily become a regular there!!

Not only here, but with an awesome server who was also from Michigan and was so funny! The serve yourself coffee bar was a really nice touch as well.
