On a sunday afternoon, we were looking for a good brunch to dine and gave wild eggs a shot. A couple of colleagues recommended wild eggs. We were told a waiting time of about 30 minutes. We drove around and came back after 25 minutes and inquired about the table, receptionist said another 30 minutes. We sat there for another 30 minutes, no luck getting the table yet. A couple came after an hour of us waiting for the table to sit, they were escorted to the table. It left us surprised and so my friend went ahead and asked what happened. They said we didn't ask for the side tables. That pissed us off. After an hour and 20 minutes of wait, we finally got seated. Our waitress was Melanie and she apologized and made sure we got our coffee order right away. I ordered buffalo chicken omelette with skillet potatoes and blueberry muffin. My friend ordered western omelette. I shall say the food was pretty mediocre. Nothing is fancy about the place. Just tables and couple of wall frames. After long wait and a mediocre food experience, we will not be returning to this place. read more

Wild Eggs is amazing. It's not cheap, but it is amazing. Everything I've tried has been good. Always check for the grits of the day and try them. I always order the chorizo biscuits and gravy and a potato latke regardless of what else I order. You should give the a try if you need a brunch. read more

Our group of 7 stopped here on a trip back from Nashville because I had been to other Wild Eggs locations and the food was typically good. Up front on this long commentary - the food was great, quite reasonably priced and our waitress very good. However, the 3 young ladies and 1 young man working as hosts had no idea what they were doing, made no effort to assist the one and only table clearing person and if this is typical - then unless they are trained or replaced, I would not expect that this restaurant to last much longer. They lost hundreds of dollars on lost customers on just on the morning we were there. 3 of us have managed restaurants and know that front end problems such as this can kill a store. We came in and there was no one in front of us and were told it would be over an hour. We were discussing going next door to Krispie Kreme, and while were were discussing this, a party of 6 at a large table departed and we noticed another large empty table further back that was empty, but not cleared. We noticed at least 5 - 4 seat tables and 2 large tables that were now empty and reengaged the staff and advised that we could fit at one of the large tables or break in to a group of 3 and 4 - this appeared to totally stupify them and the best they could come up with was that it would be at least 30 mins. We asked if we could sit at the bar area which was mostly empty except for a part of 2. They said they could not allow a large group to occupy the bar. A party of 4 came in and they seated them at a table up front adjacent to the large table and in series with another empty 4 party table (see above openness to break down in to a party of 4 & 3). We were in an incredulous mind state and kept pushing and telling them where we could be seated. Ultimately, they put 4 of us at a 6 person table and 3 at a 4 party table. We heard them tell phone callers that the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half wait - which of course the caller's passed on. There were many empty tables as we left - but quite a few waiting customers. Breakfast was amazing as always! I got the potato head casserole and my sister got the surfer girl omelet. Both are a must for us every time we come here. Our Server was Koby. She was very curious and had a warm smile. One thing that sets this place aside is the managers. Whew I am STUFFED! This place was absolutely delicious. Me and my hubby got two diff versions of the eggs Benedict, and both were on point. They offer fresh squeezed orange juice also, which was obviously tasty. We are huge coffee drinkers and got the undertow (half n half with vanilla ) and the miehl (cinnamon and honey). We almost drank them too fast because they were so yummy. I don't really have any complaints because although it did take a little while to get our food, the quality was great so waiting was well worth it. They are complying with Covid precautions and spacing people out, wearing masks etc. I will definitely keep this place in mind if I come back this way. read more

This is a nice addition to Bowling Green! The interior is very clean and modern. Love it. If smells like oranges when you walk in due to their fresh squeezed OJ. I got the berry mocha to drink and it was just OK. I wouldn't get it again due to how rich the food is (depending on what you get, of course). Now... Onto the best part. My husband ordered the creole omelet and I ordered the banana foster waffle. Both of them were so good! The waffle was so rich that it should really be shared. It had ice cream on it!!! My father-in-law ordered the homemade cinnamon roll. Delicious! One thing I would change is for the potatoes to be warmer! They were just lukewarm when they arrived at the table. Traveling from FL to IL for Thanksgiving and stopped in Bowling Green to have breakfast. So glad to have found Wild Eggs here on Yelp. My family arrived right in time for the restaurant to open at 6:30. (Couldn't have timed that more perfectly considering we had been on the road for 10 hours straight.) The girl who seated us was very polite. The lady who waited on us was patient with us out-of-towners and accommodating to my kids' food allergies. The restaurant was immaculate and in my opinion not only wins in cleanliness but also in decor for breakfast joints and I've been to many across the country. Fun bar with TV, decorative eggs in windows at the entrance, metal roosters adorning the outdoor patio, and huge artsy photographs featuring eggs hanging in the dining area. Cutest bathroom signs too - Hens and Roosters. As for the food, I had a hard time deciding between the raspberry and lemon cream pancakes and the scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms, goat cheese, and white truffle oil. I am a savory breakfast girl at heart so I went with the eggs, and I am so glad I did! Yum. Just yum. Had a side of grits and their fabulous Everything Muffin. Oh and their fresh squeezed OJ is indeed fresh squeezed as they have a juicing machine in the restaurant. Hubby and the kiddos went with their typical French toast, turkey sausage, pancakes, and oatmeal choices as they normally do at any breakfast joint and everything was devoured without complaint. The only complaint I have is that I didn't have any room in my belly to order the pancakes I wanted to try. (I really did consider taking some on the go!) This is only their first week, so I am a little hesitant to be too critical as they work out the kinks, I have been here twice this week once on the first day and today, their 6th day open. Both days the food was great. It had a good flavor, but the food was lukewarm. I sure hope they get better at getting the food out hot!!! Now to the food..., I had the surfer girl omelet the first day and bennies gone wild today.. both were good with very tasty flavors. I also took a cinnamon roll to go... me and two friends split it. Pretty happy that we stopped here on our way to Florida and also pretty happy this place is not in an hour radius of my house because I would be as big as a house! Casual atmosphere with delicious food. We really enjoyed our meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and personable (hostess, waitress, and a manager check-in). Deciding WHAT to eat was painful. I really wanted the skillet cinnamon roll, but we knew that would be just too much! Boy ordered the bananas foster French toast and it was everything you wanted with gooey sauce and vanilla bean ice cream from the gods. His side of sausage was good, but not noteworthy/special. I had the buffalo chicken omelet and it was spicy and delicious without being too cheesy. Do get the everything muffin with your meal, a nice little savory treat. Coffee carafe at the table and the waiting area (always a win from me). Simple and clean eatery in a strip mall with cute little bar area. They have gluten free options and i enjoyed a very fluffy GF chocolate chip pancake among all of the other yummy breakfast staples. Wow, am I glad other Yelpers pointed out this place. Terrific meal, great service, extensive menu. I had scrambled eggs, the everything muffin and potato latkes. Delicious. Hubby had bagels/lox benedict and the grits of the day (black beans, pepper jack and bacon). Although It offends my sensibility that he put grits on one of the latkes, he loved his choices as well. Guess we arrived at an off time , post breakfast rush,as there were several empty tables but we still had to wait. While waiting I went to the restroom and it was not clean (this was resolved during the visit). I've eaten at other locations as I was initially excited,but ended having to send my food back because it was cold. When I got it back it was okay. I had the Greek fritatta, with potatoes and and everything muffin. The only reason I gave them three stars was because the service was decent, and the manager friendly. read more

Also, if you try to go at any poplar breakfast/brunch time (i.e. Saturday or Sunday mornings) you will be waiting for a very long time most likely outside. My GF and I read the outstanding reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. It didn't go so well. Food was fine (better than average but not out of this world) but the service was not at the top of their game. After watching table after table who came in after us get served we finally tracked our waitress down (I had to get up to ask) only to find our order was never passed on. To the establishment's credit, the owner/manager comped our breakfast and apologized sincerely for the 45 minute to 1 hour delay getting our meal (we were on a tight schedule and ended up being late for our appt). Taking responsibility for the mistake was worth moving my rating from 2 to 3 stars. I hope they work out their service issues. read more

If you like breakfast soup this place will be a real treat. I ordered the Steak and Eggs Bennie. I ordered this as curbside pick up and even added a tip for the trouble. I received a text after a while letting me know my food was ready. I promptly responded to let them know where I was parked. I called them back after 10 minutes because they still had not brought my food. I gave them a clear description of my vehicle and another 10 minutes elapsed with no food. After a second phone call and the employee completely ignoring my instructions (which were literally to walk straight out the door to my car) I finally flagged her down and received my food. To my horror I opened up a tepid grease soup. There was so much liquid in the container that the English muffins were completely saturated and mush. Oddly enough there was a distinct lack of hollandaise in all the liquid. The steak had the consistency of boiled meat. The potatoes may have been great when initially plated but they were well saturated with the mystery liquid by the time I received them. As a warning do not order their crispy bacon if you don't like bacon croutons. I actually like overcooked hard bacon so it wasn't that bad for me. I brought the meal back to complain and they remade the food and reimbursed. The remake featured eggs that had at the same time overcooked yolks and questionably undercooked whites. I have included a pic of the remake in this review. I would recommend the Krispy Kreme next door or perhaps grabbing a skillet at the Goodwill at the end of the parking lot and trying to cook this yourself either option is likely to produce better results. After attempting to eat this I realized all the grease from the first attempt was actually what they were calling Hollandaise sauce. They seemed to just be trying to get rid of a batch of bad sauce that had separated on them. Hollandaise is a tricky sauce and evidently one that is out of reach of this establishment. read more

Do not order from Wild Eggs through deliver (Door Dash). They ask you for special instructions, you include the instructions and they completely ignore them, sending a meal that is cold, charging extra for side items ( I ordered Eggs Benedict with extra sauce, they charged me extra and I didn't receive the extra sauce. This is the second week in a row that they've done this. I love this restaurant and I order through delivery because I don't want to leave the house. I will not be going to Wild Eggs again. If it's a one-time incident, I wouldn't be this upset. This is an off and on issue with this restaurant and I'm just writing this because I want other customers to be aware of this issue. read more

This is new to Bowling Green, we rarely come back down to our college town. So my husband and I tried it for the first time. For a first time, it's impressive. Something different than the usual is always great!!!! The servers are quite slow but it's breakfast, on a weekend, we're not in a hurry. So we had a good breakfast, with good people. Came here as a pit stop from Nashville to mammoth cave in Kentucky. Waitress (Essence) was very nice and gave us great service. We both created our own omelettes. I highly recommend adding the roasted tomatoes to your omelette. I substituted hash for mixed vegetables (for an extra charge). Coffee was great and the plus side was that they had soy milk for a non-dairy option. Service was good and the portions were big. read more

While in town to pick up some furniture, I stopped at Wild Eggs for a late breakfast. Usually, I avoid franchises due to their general lack of concern with quality. At the time, I didn't know as much, but it explained the highs and lows of the meal. I ordered the Kalamity Katies Border Breakfast, the corn cakes with green chiles and cheddar cheese mixed in were quite tasty. On top of the cakes they put crumbles of chorizo, a mildly spicy sausage, it tasted drier than I prefer, but that's because I'd bet they use premade for service. There's also a decent melted cheese queso fundido on top along with two poached eggs and a meh pico de gallo. The addition of sour cream and green onions added a much-needed boost to the layers of flavor. Lastly, they include small pieces of diced avocado, which fortunately for me wasn't a large amount as I detest that grass-flavored booger of a vegetable. On the side, they include skillet potatoes which weren't too overdone, but they certainly tasted older and not fresh made. Finally, there's an everything muffin which also tasted old and reheated; it was exceedingly crumbly and dried out. I'm not sure what the "everything" title includes but poppy seeds were a prominent component. I also ordered a cafe mocha which although served in a small cup for the price, certainly tasted delicious. I sat in the outside seating area and must admit that it amused me that of all the servers they could assign to the beating rays of the sun, they chose a fair-skinned freckled redhead who didn't appear to enjoy that task. Don't misconstrue my meaning, she provided decent service, but since I sat near the door, she justly avoided venturing into the sunlight more than necessary. All in all, the main crux of the meal was enjoyable, the coffee tasted great, and the potatoes were seasoned well, but the muffin left much to be desired, and some aspects of the meal we're less than exceptional. read more
