This is my first time here and I came on a Sunday afternoon with my family of six. We got greeted right away & there was no wait time which was wonderful and we got seated quickly. The vibes were very relaxed and my kids loved the big fish tank they had inside. Our server was GAVIN and he was PHENOMENAL!! Very attentive always making sure our drinks were filled and kept asking if we needed anything. We always enjoy Cheddar's and the one here was no exception. We were seated right away and greeted by our server. We got the cheese curds for an appetizer, which came out after our salads. Both items were delicious. Our chicken dinners, one honey Dijon and one lemon pepper were great. Flavorful chicken, and very tender. As always, large portions and quick service. The only thing I didn't like was that the green beans were sweet, and I'd forgotten that's how they make them. Got an order to go. One meal was salmon over rice w/grilled shrimp. It was bad, the salmon was over cooked to the point of dry. The mashed potatoes were dry and the gravy was on the potatoes, I had asked for gray on the side. The other order was the chicken Dijon w/ mushroom, the chicken breast was not cooked. The broccoli casserole was really dry. All the food was so salty could not eat it. It is very heart breaking when food cost almost $40.00 and it is not edible. I ordered the blackened chicken here and it was good. It comes with everything on one plate so no additional picking of sides. Issues: I have found that the Cheddar's locations through my business trip so far have had something up with their restrooms. For this location, the sinks and soap dispensers worked, but the paper towel dispensers, which were suppose to be sensor, did not work. Like I did at one Mexican restaurant in Louisville, I had to use my tie to open the door of the restroom and pants and napkin at my table to wipe my wet hands. This location does have sensor dryers for people who may be paper conscious; however, I just have an issue that none of the paper towel dispensers worked. Ordered curbside while on our road trip. We actually arrived a bit early and the food was ready! The buttered croissants were to die for! So yummy! The salmon was also super good, the bourbon sauce was just *chefs kiss*. Cheddars what has happened?? We are literally weekly customers because our son is obsessed with the chicken tenders so I order the family bundle once a week. I changed it up today and I am very disappointed Steak was ordered medium well and it was so tough that I put it on top of the croissant to prevent the knife going through the box! How do you mess up a baked ?? Cold and hard so the knife stood upright for a while. The shrimp was cold temperature wise but loaded with some type of spices that set my mouth on fire. I am whimpy with spices so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on the flavor of the shrimp but the temperature wasn't acceptable either. We had a sweet waitress who brought the food out for curb side pick up and every time we have pleasant waiters and waitresses so this is not a negative reflection on them at all. I went to cheddars yesterday (1/26) and the service quality was bad. Our server that works the 3rd shift between 8pm-10pm had zero patience and was very rude. She act like she didn't want to serve us had a very nasty attitude. She was mad that one of us changed our order. Our food was cold and took an hour to receive our food once we were seated. Cheddars is usually good, but no longer....every restaurant in BG has a limited menu, and Cheddars used to make a great meat loaf, but no more! last time we were in might be the last...every place in BG seems to have such a limited menu, no roast turky, no meat loaf, no prime rib, no broiled fish....everything is fried, fried, fried....and the wait staff the day we were there were all unhappy, the floor was dirty with crumbs, don't they have one of those push sweepers to get the crumbs up?
