Nice coffee shop, trendy feel, just what you'd expect in a college town like BG! I stopped in early on a weekday morning and it was surprisingly busy! I'm simple and just ordered an unsweetened latte, but it was well made and the barista made a pretty latte art flower (my attempts at latte art at home look more like phallic symbols). They have local craft beer, too, but that wasn't my choice at 7 am. To each their own. Prices were good for this kind of shop, too. No complaints! read more

We went in 2018 and had a café latte and chai tea latte and we went back today and had the same thing and still equally delicious. We were in there today at 11:30 and the place was packed so obviously it's a big hit here in Bowling Green. My wife had a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. Are you KIDDING me?! This place makes you feel like you are in a movie. I'm not even kidding. It's so cute and quaint and cozy. The prices are literally insane. Like $5.65 for a 16oz flavored latte is amazing. Not to mention the coffee was impeccable Everyone was so friendly and kind. We were in town for a short girls trip and we went to this cutie coffee shop two times. We got food the second time, and as if this place couldn't get any better, IT DID. The food was so freaking good. We got the breakfast bowl, club, tomato soup, and grilled cheese. Everything was amazing. We walked out and were sad!!! We've been in search of good coffee and wow - shout out to Alex! Highly recommend the Cubano, expresso, half/half and condensed milk. Not crazy sweet. They knew their stuff. We had great conversation, so kind and helpful. We were taking the coffees to go but decided to stay & so glad we did. This is where all the cool hipster kids hang out at LOL! Nothing but college kids in there, but there isn't anything wrong with that. Staff was super friendly, nice atmosphere/vibe, very clean, and we loved the building. Had that old yet new feel with the old brick against the newly(?) remodeled interior. I ordered the Torero (chorizo burrito), but it had way too many onions in it. Decent-sized burrito, but the filling could've been seasoned a lot more. Also ordered a medium mocha, good but was a bit thick in the bottom. Hubby got the Standard-- it was pitiful! I felt really bad that it was so small considering what we paid. I tried to give him half of my burrito, but he said it was fine. He usually only complains if it's something catastrophic. Not enough food for the money. Superb neighborhood coffee shop with a surprising amount of space. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon and although it was busy, there were still open seats. Their coffee is quite good, solid value for the price. WiFi is fast and free (my favorite) and the atmosphere is great for studying, homework, etc. A long walk or short drive from WKU, with parking available out front. BG's downtown is definitely worth checking out if you're new here, lots of cute little shops and restaurants. read more

This place was truly a hidden gem. Stopped in here on our roadtrip to grab some coffee and a quick breakfast snack. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a homemade biscuit and it was SO GOOD. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and he ate every bite! Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful with what to get. Spencer's is a BG staple and we love it here. I used to come to Spencer's all the time in high school - it was the coolest spot to be, acting grown up with friends over coffee. It's expanded a lot in size and locations since then, but the overall cool and cozy vibe is still the same. I feel transported into something akin to the Friends coffee shop when I enter - it's just missing a couch! They sell a variety of hot and cold drinks, and also offer a beer selection. There is ample indoor seating and outlets, so it's a great place to grab a table and work. There is also outdoor seating in the back, and restrooms. I also noticed they sell PopWorks popsicles, merch, pastries, and a large selection of breakfast and lunch options! I have fond memories of their grilled cheese - the cheese pull is insane!! Most recently I tried the iced horchata latte, a summertime special, and it was perfectly cinnamony. The staff is always super friendly. The frappes are also good. This is by far my favorite location, even though the convenience of a drive through makes the bypass location a 1st choice for others. Parking is free at the square. Expect it to be pretty busy when school is in session, but the line goes quick!! Definitely my favorite coffee shop in Bowling Green. read more

I hadn't been here for a few years and stopped by for a coffee and sweet for a business meeting. It was Saturday at 12:30 and there were no tables open. It was packed! My nitro cold brew was rich and strong- delicious! The cookie was pretty dry and crumbly, but not the worst I've ever had. Stopped in Spencer's twice on our short trip to Bowling Green and I'm sad we live 5 hours away because I would make this my go to coffee store easily! The shop itself is very cozy and welcoming. I was feeling a chai latte but haven't had them much before and the employee (who remembered us from the other day) helped me in ordering it to how I'd like. And it is DELICIOUS! This place is the real deal-the sort of place I would LOVE to have near my hometown--a coffee shop open past 5PM-they stay open until at least 8P on weekends and have TONS of great seating....near the window (high-tops) and plenty of regular tables with different amounts of lighting throughout. Just at the end of the Square in downtown Bowling Green. Nice place, people behind the counter were quite nice. Good selection of drinks from Hot coffee, lattes, cold drinks and frappes. Also, some food and snack choices such as cookies, brownies and other pastries. I got a Dark Chocolate Mocha , my wife and daughter got white chocolate mochas. Yes, they had the fancy little decoration (heart on mine, some leaf pattern on theirs). Tasted good and (not that I go to Starbucks that often) seemed priced reasonably. They do have WiFi, it's well lit and not noisy. So, if you want to connect your laptop and do some work, or browse the internet, read a book, meet up with friends and just chat, this is a very good place to do that. read more

We chose the thin crust option. The toppings were plentiful but I don't believe they were evenly distributed. Also, for a thin crust pizza, I found this pizza was a little thicker than what I am used to for a thin crust pizza. I would describe it as more of a hand tossed style pizza than a thin crust pizza. It was pretty good though and larger than I had anticipated for two people. The delivery was prompt and the delivery person left it in front of our hotel restaurant as requested. I give this establishment a solid 3 1/2 stars. If I ordered again, I would opt for a medium sized considering this was probably too much for two people. Recommended!
