We stopped by this place after picking up my kiddo from WKU because it had great reviews and the food looked great. It was a Sunday morning around 11 so naturally pretty busy but not overwhelming. There is not wait staff or hosts so you just go up to the counter to place your order and you're given a number. Although there are a good amount of seats, I can see how you could get stuck waiting on a table based on timing. Nevertheless, we had a couple leave their table and we were able to get it. My only complaint was that there was not a staff member taking care of cleaning the tables in the dining room, so we had to clean it ourselves. The food came out pretty quickly and I was extremely happy with it. We got the Avocado Toast and split it since it's a pretty big portion. I wish the bread was a bit toastier but still good. I would run through a wall for the stuffed Nutella waffle though. Absolutely delicious. Nothing else to say about that. Even if you order other items, get one to take home and you won't be sorry! Overall a good experience and we'd definitely stop by again when we're in town! read more

Very cute breakfast spot. Limited menu but very good. Noise level is pretty low. Small place for students or people looking for some conversation. Service was pretty good. Honestly, I think I've only tried one coffee here and it didn't leave a lasting impression but the food is good and they offer some very creative items. Sweet and savory items. This cute coffee shop happened to be near my hotel while I was in town for work. With such a cute name, I couldn't resist. The cafe was surprisingly roomy with plenty of seating. We arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday morning, there were quite a few people there already but we were able to place and receive our orders pretty quickly. I chose a maple pecan macchiato from their seasonal menu and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Both were pretty tasty. The biscuit was made more like a waffle sandwich and it came with a side of sausage gravy to dip the sandwich in. I was impressed with the portion size for the price. read more

My wife got a Carmel macchiato that was fantastic. So much better than that giant multinational corporate coffee shop from Seattle. We both got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. It comes stuffed in a waffle with a side of sausage gravy. I'm already a large guy. If this place was closer it would be a problem. You'd need a tow truck to get me out of here. This was sooo good. Go on a Monday!! Mondays only they have the most incredible waffled grilled cheese with Rian's Fatted Calf hamburger meat inside. It is the perfect amount of crispy like a panini, with a gooey inside and a hefty amount of beef (without being too overstuffed to take a bite). Also the cinnamon rolls are to-die for. Their icing is a 10/10. One per person is plenty, I promise. Other recommendations are the strawberry cloud refresher, breakfast burrito, and the Suzie iced coffee. The manager/owner? was here for a surprise check-in and checked on all the tables while we were here, which we really appreciated. You can tell how much he cares about this place. Really cute little coffee shop. I love the decor inside. The drinks were good l. My inlet was delicious. I added turkey to the omelet because turkey bacon wasn't a protein option. It was the perfect addition. I did have to add a little salt and pepper. My partner got the chicken and waffles and we noticed the chicken to waffle ratio was off. He mentioned the chicken didn't taste seasoned, but the waffle was good and he finished it off. The chocolate chip waffle was a sandwich of sorts with creamy vanilla ice cream wedge between the two halves. It was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of it but there was nothing left to show after we demolished it. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in town. read more

Such a cute place. Lots of seating, menu up on the wall. Tons of offerings for coffee, tea and the whatnot. I had a womblette (??) it was an egg cooked in a waffle iron with all of the fixens of an omelette. It came with a side of sour cream and salsa. Delicious. Service was fast and they had a line the whole time we were there. Good cold coffee drinks. There was art (I would guess local, but not sure) on the wall for purchase as well. read more

Visiting friends in Bowling Green Ky. we stopped at this coffee. It's a cute little spot that you can sit in and enjoy your coffee and food. I got the white mocha tiramisu frappe and it was delicious. It tasted like tiramisu! I also got the chicken quesadilla which had chicken, cheese, onions and peppers. Served with salsa, sour cream and fresh guacamole. It was absolutely delicious ! I will come back anytime I visit here in the future. I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to come by if in town. Was in BG for a conference and found this little gem. I always try to pick one of the staff creations when I find a place like this. Worked out for me again. Fantastic coffee creation paired with an excellent breakfast burrito started my day right. Also, I have to tell this little story. There was an elderly gentleman eating by himself close to me. The (I assume) owner was running food and stopped to check on this gentleman. By the conversation I think the elderly man must be a regular. The owner asked about his wife and the gentleman explained she was in the hospital sick. The owner then offered condolences and said, "You come back for breakfast or lunch tomorrow and it's on me." That's taking care of your community and customers and it really struck a chord with me. read more

I love the Just Love location in Berea, used to be my go to breakfast/coffee spot. While ill still be a customer i have to say this location was disappointing. Not the same quality, the environment felt more closed off than the welcoming feel at the berea location. I looove the breakfast sandwich at the berea location but the one i got this morning was bland and stuffed into a waffle rather than the made to order sandwiches in berea (on a croissant). We stopped in for Sunday breakfast. The place was busy but there were a couple of tables open. I ordered the Flying Pig. It's a waffle with eggs, bacon, and sausage cooked in. Josh got a plate with scrambled eggs, a waffle, sausage, and fruit. We both thought that this was a really good version of a hotel breakfast. Like Hilton Garden Inn back when they cared a little. The eggs are from a carton, the sausage was definitely frozen patties cooked in the waffle iron (creative!), the syrup was super thick and definitely cheap, and I'm pretty sure the waffle batter is the same pre-made kind that you'd get anywhere. It was tasty, sure, so no knock there. I bet they'd be six stars if they made their own stuff and it wasn't so obviously all from Sysco or Sam's Club. Still, I'll come back and try something else. They have lunch too! Prices were reasonable, service quick, and it's clean here. They get 3 stars for the food and a bonus star for being a local business. I hope they are around for a long while. Overall the experience was very positive with good atmosphere, good food and service, but god damn if the food wasn't expensive as shit, and the portions were 10x smaller than we expected from what we saw on the menu photo. I really wish it wasn't so expensive and stingy with portions because if not for that I might want to come back, it feels more like a tourist trap than an actual BG restaurant! I know they probably scooped some college kids off the street who are probably being paid less than they should be, but as a Bowling Green local, I feel really bad for anyone who sees the coffee quality and prices and assumes that this is Kentucky standard, because it isn't and I do feel like the coffee (I got the Classic Espresso) was rushed and wasn't really done with care ( and I do understand rush hour and all that but seriously the crema could have been much much better than a flat brew AND in a tiny overpriced cup) all of this along with giving us a to-go cup even though we ordered for there. I do wish that the restaurants owner would take more care and consideration into the large lower middle class population of this city, not everyone can afford a TWENTY FIVE dollar order of two tiny ass espressos with only HALF of a Nutella waffle (it showed a full waffle in the menu picture which is the only reason why we went through with ordering in the first place, it was 9.95$ and smaller than my god damn palm for half a waffle) hope that they see this and think of who the people in this city are because I do wish that I could have enjoyed this experience. read more

Bitter espresso shots poured so fast they have no crema at all, combined with over-steamed, foamless milk, masked with sugary syrups. I guess this is Kentucky-style espresso; the only espresso joint we've found here that doesn't do some semblance of this is Spencer's. Food: A roast beef and cheddar sandwich smashed with a waffle iron and tossed onto a plate with a pile of stale potato chip crumbles and a limp pickle spear that tastes vaguely of sanitizer. Actually, not completely unexpected; Kentucky seems to pride itself in eating bland, abused food. I'm more surprised they didn't try to slather it in syrup or gravy. I've reflected on the consistency of what is to me bad coffee and food here in Kentucky, over the past few months. I really believe it's a cooking and eating culture. If it's bitter, add sugar. If it needs to be hot, boil it or burn it. If it's ugly, smother it in something or just throw it on a plate and say, "Shut up and eat it". Kentucky. So add a star if you're sympathetic to this sort of thing, I guess. The service, unmasked and uncaring as it is in Covid times, is at least friendly. But really, really not recommended to anyone not into this local hard-scrabble aesthetic. read more
