So not what it use to be, we got in easily but waited 40 min for food and it was all wrong. Eggs Bennie with hard boiled egg was strike one. Then the steak in another order was dry and awful the med eggs also over cooked. Burger was missing the vegetables I could go on. Worst of all the new eggs for the Bennie NEVER CAME! My husband had enough and he stopped at McDonald's when we left. The manger was no where in sight. What a huge disappointment! There was a huge crowd waiting to go in I fought the urge to tell them to run. read more

We were seated quickly. Very sweet server. Food arrived after waiting quite awhile. Food looked kind of like other WE dishes. I had biscuits and gravy and side of bacon and coffee) Hubby had his Calamity Eggs and muffin with coffee. Food seemed to be fresh up from microwave. This place is so dirty!!! Looks like they use to sell used car parts in here! I think they lined them up against the wall. Comet and a scrub brush might help and some Go Joe. Bathrooms were cleaner than eating area. They did play some Red Hot Chili Peppers. That was nice. Server did disappear for awhile after we got the check. We had to wait quite a time for her to retrieve our payment. There's just a few tables of people here. Hubby says maybe she's also the cook. They need to go look at the Louisville's WE's! We won't be back to this WE. read more

I've been to this restaurant a few different times. They have an eggs-ellent sel-egg-tion of dishes to enjoy for breakfast. If you don't like eggs, get pancakes or waffles. If you do like eggs, have at it. I like the surfer girl made with egg whites. Their potatoes are good. You get a lot of food, so, although the menu price can seem high when you order, you'll be impressed with the portions. Also, skip adding sides. Those portions are pretty big. I'm not a big fan of flavored coffee, so I got orange juice. As a side note, we heard Culture Club, Cat Stevens, The Beach Boys, Sam and Dave, Jackson Browne, Frankie Valli, and the Jackson 5 while sitting in the restaurant. People seemed pretty relaxed. Service was great. This is an awesome place to chill. read more

It is absolutely adorable inside this unique restaurant with an incredible menu, Customer Service is top notch, and the food was so flavorful and fresh. we came from Nashville for some business in the area and we've decided we will come back here. I had the surfer girl omelette, which was incredible, their home fries are perfect and the pumpkin spice coffee was probably the best pumpkin spice flavored coffee I've had and I am a big Starbucks drinker ! My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs and he is harder to please when it comes to food and he stopped midway through his meal and said I would make the drive back here for this food. This is my second time going to wild eggs, but a different location. I love trying new things on the menu, but I have to keep going back for the Mr. potato head! My friend got broccoli in hers so I decided to try it and it's amazing! My boyfriend got the buffalo omelette and the flavor is very true to the name. There is so much buffalo sauce on it and it is DELICIOUS! Someone else at our table got the burger and that's also really good! Our wait time wasn't very long and our server was very attentive. They are however losing a star because this specific restaurant is the only wild eggs that does not serve mimosas. Boo. But still recommend going if you want a gold hearty brunch spot! read more

Wild Eggs is pretty good! My family and I have visited quite a few times over the years, and usually we have a good experience. My absolute favorite dishes from here are the Eggs Benny and the Kelsey KY Brown. Sometimes service is a little slow, especially on the weekends, which is absolutely understandable with how busy this place is, so I prefer to order ahead over the phone about 20 minutes before I arrive and take my food to go. Everyone is always super friendly, whether I'm eating there or taking my food to go, so this is definitely one of my favorite breakfast places in BG. read more

Adorable atmosphere with a HUGE menu--seriously, there's something for everyone on this menu. Our party of four (my parents, my partner, and myself) stopped here during a recent visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. The portions are quite large; my omelet was served with a side of grits AND a blueberry muffin. Lots of fun offerings too, like the KY Brown. Top 5 breakfasts I've ever had... all time. Surfer girl omelet was loaded with veggies, everything muffin was a nice side. The blueberry muffin has a lemon base that sent my eyes rolling in ecstasy. They have coffee of the day, grits if the day and soup if the day. The eggs ordered in my party were perfect and the sausage pepper jack grits were spot on. Skillet potatoes were good, not excellent. The wait for the food & cafe coffee was ridiculous but the it was Sunday and around that time everyone wants to eat... overall it was a 2 hr breakfast experience... definitely more then I planned for ! The waitress and manger were very friendly and apologetic on behalf of our wait time & even gave us free biscuits & muffins. A big negative in my opinion are the restrooms, very small and only one toilet & urinal in the men's restroom, very ridiculous for a restaurant full with guests & staff. I had to use the restroom next door at Krispy Kreme, If the manager / owner is reading this review, please add another toilet ! If not for the long wait & poor restroom setup, I wound of rated higher. We have been to Wild Eggs in Indy several times and always had a wonderful experience. Bowling Green's Wild Eggs was the complete opposite. I ordered a surfer girl omelet. Worst omelet ever. It was even topped with guac that had turned days ago. The potatoes that came with the meal were old and cold.l and completely lacked salt. They don't even have alcohol for their bloody Mary's. They were out of goat cheese on a Friday morning, when half the items they make contain goat cheese. I will eat breakfast at my hotel tomorrow morning. Even that will be better than Wild Eggs in Bowling Green. Don't waste your time. I could make a better tasting breakfast on the hood of my car. I should mention the manager did make things right by comping our meal and giving us a gift card, I honestly wouldn't have been interested in if I wasn't coming back to the Indy one soon. read more

2 1/2 years in Nashville and we came to Bowling Green and stumbled onto wild eggs and finally found the best place for breakfast. The only downside is it's an hours drive from Nashville, hopefully they'll open one in Nashville! Food is incredible! read more

We called Wild Eggs to see if they were busy and how long it may take to get our food. We were headed there before our cave tour and on a tight schedule. They were super accommodating to our family of 5. They had a table set and waiting on us (we were coming from 45 minutes away), water in cups, which was great. They took our orders quickly, brought food along with our check so we only had to eat and run. The food was fantastic. Everyone loved every bite they took and the service was equally awesome. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Bowling Green. They have plenty of options, which makes it a great place to bring anyone that's visiting. The Mr. Potato Head casserole is one of the best breakfast items, and I recommend ordering a cinnamon roll for the table to share. As far as lunch items go, I would order the hot brown. For coffee drinkers, they have new specialty coffees each week, so there's always something new to try. The service is always pretty quick, so that's a plus as well. Definitely recommend. read more

Took forever to get our food. Asked for cinnamon roll ahead of rest of the meal. It came out about 2 minutes before the rest of the meal that took almost 30 minutes after we ordered. Coffee pot that was left at the table was very dirty on the outside. Table was wiped off in front of us but not clean. Took a wipe of my own and wiped the table.
