I was not disappointed, they had exactly what I was looking for, and the quality looked to be excellent. They even gift wrapped the package, which was quite large. Ahh the pleasure of shopping locally. I have no idea where else I could have found the feeder, and the gift wrapping was the cherry on top. Unfortunately I've been conditioned to shop the big box stores, I'm positive I would not have found this anywhere else. Very positive experience, the owner and staff were really nice people. And my very special great niece, and future great nephew were very pleased with the gift as it matches their new house perfectly. Please note: This is a real review and not some friend of the owner or store. I know I always wonder about a ringer when I read a very positive review. This is not one of those!

Waited to pay for some bird foods while the owner was so busy selling some type of bear proof set ups, customer having a lot of questions, another staff was helping customer who was testing a pair of binocular. They all knew I was there, ready to pay and leave. Why not break away for 5 minutes to help me? I am not expecting a red carpet treatment, just purchase what I want and leave. Other time some friends of the owners were there talking about motorcycle in great length. I felt awkward, like I was breaking up a small get together. I have never felt this way at any other stores..... Something is very pretentious about this place. Now I am a member of a local bird feeding store where staff are always friendly and ready to help, happy to answer questions and I feel really welcomed even purchasing a small suet cake. The Bird Store and More carries some really wonderful products, but I probably won't go back there any time soon.

A store that sells things for birds, that doesn't actually sell birds? Not that I'm looking to buy a bird, and I'm not going to get into the ethics of pet stores. But "bird stuff" is enough of a business to afford a storefront? And then I visited. The people there are super knowledgeable about backyard birds, and are so nice and approachable. They have a huge variety of birdhouses, and birdfeeders, and suet cakes, and birdseed, and you name it. If it's related to backyard wild birds, they have it. What? You buy birdseed at Home Depot? Yo, birds be picky. If all you want to do is gorge the local sparrow population, then yeah I guess you can buy birdseed at the hardware store. But if you're into watching birds in your backyard, you have to come to them before they come to you. Specific birds like specific seeds. Specific birds perch certain ways. I could go on, but you know who really knows these details? The folks at WBU. They also have great products. For fun and to draw them away from my bird feeders, I got a squirrel corn bouncer for my tree (from WBU, of course!) The squirrels love it, the bunnies eat the corn that falls on the ground, even the birds love it. But those squirrels run through a pair of ears in less than a week. So I ordered replacement dry corn ears online. SAD! They were nearly impossible to screw onto the bolts. I learned my lesson, and now I get my corn from WBU exclusively. Look, at the very least, visit the store. If you're not impressed, you should think about if you're really about the bird life.

The staff were so friendly and personable, they helped set up my cedar post with a device to keep the squirrels from crawling on. Even more so, when I clumsily forgot the device and left with it still on the counter, THEY apologized to ME when they had nothing to apologize for. The absolute kindest people. If you go, don't forget to check out the breathtaking canvases on the wall -- they capture and print them themselves. I'm not even that into bird houses and I am already planning to go back because of the hospitality alone.

They have a selection of better quality foods for your feathered friends here, including bags of seeds and suet. The prices are definitely higher than you would find at other discount and hardware stores, but you're also buying a better quality of seed. I'm not so certain, though, that the price of their suet packages - at least three times the cost elsewhere - is quite as justified. You'll also find here a better selection of bird houses, bird feeders (many of which are resistant to various types of pests) and perches. In the front of this particular store, they carried a line of Corinthian Bells wind chimes. The owner/manager is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and will be glad to assist and converse with you. It's worth checking out... just don't tell the squirrels.

I decided I needed to see it in person first, so a quick visit to this store was in order. I found my couch on the display floor, and the customer service rep, Alysha, came right over. I told her that I was this online, wanted to see it in person first, and she gave me space to go over it, and try it out. It was perfect. Writing up the sale took no time. I received a 'care kit' and opted for the 5-year goof-proof warranty and white-glove delivery. The estimated date for delivery was a month away, since this was a new product, but that would be true from many stores. Friendly service, no hard upsell, everything was explained. However, the wait for delivery was longer than expected, which was due to backups in the receiving port (which affected several items I had ordered in the past few months--stupid pandemic). White glove delivery was on time, and quick. On the downside, the Bob's Cafe was closed, but Alysha did make the suggestion that when it reopens, we come back and have a cup of coffee. I'll be there.

Here is my recent experience with Bob's Discount Furniture. I spent $1500 for a grey Luxe Power Recliner including the cost for the Goof Proof Plan, etc. Of course, the cheaply constructed chair broke! The mechanism bent and warped so badly it hurt my back. The warped mechanism broke the plastic coupling on the power cord. I was afraid of receiving an electric shock when the wiring snapped. I was worried that this electric chair would provide the actual experience of being electrocuted! This chair is wonderful if you like pain. I reluctantly returned to this terrible store. With the voucher I received from GoofProof, I paid $1447 for a new "Hercules" chair, including the costs for a new GoofProof Plan, delivery, taxes, etc. Bob's Discount Furniture Store never delivered the chair. Recently, I returned to the store to inquire about the delivery of my chair. Stacey, the store manager, told me no Hercules chairs existed anywhere in the world including the one I was staring at in the showroom! I politely asked for a full refund. Stacey refused to issue a full refund or deliver a chair. Then, she abruptly stormed off in a huff. Another meek store salesman approached me. He told me to get out of the store or he would call the police! I left that awful store. I am warning all of you. Do not shop here! You will regret it. My back is still killing me. Go to Bob's Stores so that you too can have a delightful Bob's experience like I had. I am so sad that Bob is dead.
