I'd been driving by this place for a long time and finally managed to stop in. They have some beautiful garden products. The set up is very pretty inside, as lovely as the outside. The whole place is just filled with plants and flowers and I could see someone who is into gardening having a field day in here. I was just browsing so I didn't really look at the prices as other reviewers have done. Although I am not heavily into gardening, some of my family members and friends certainly are and I will definitely recommend they stop in here.

    A dead plant.

I purchased a plant from this place about a week and a half ago to two weeks and I called I spoke with a young lady she was going to check if the plant I purchased was still in stock because it happened to dry up and she said even if I brought my credit card in I can exchange the plant. I was on hold and a random man whom I was not originally speaking with picked up and said the alter opposite of what the young lady said. With this sort of terrible service and there crazy pricing, I will never be purchasing from this nursery again and I will continue to go to Home Depot and support the Giants instead of the little people close to home. What a shame as I drove past this spot for many years on my commute and dreamt of going in and when I finally did this is the experience I have to share with all of you.

However in the last couple of years it hasn't been the same. First, the variety of items available seemed to shift a bit. They were great for finding cute seasonal decor that you wouldn't see anywhere else. That was gone. They were great for finding styles you wouldn't find elsewhere, at least not easily. They also carried a wide range of sizes which made it great to shop for anyone. All of that is now gone. They carry the same styles you can find in any store, at higher prices, and only in standard sizes. The other thing is they have a decent sized store front and have never reopened it since Covid first hit! If you want to shop for anything, you have to buy it online without being able to see or try anything on in person. Also, you'd better hope it fits because you only have 7 days from the *purchase* date to return it. Need more than 7 days? Store credit only. It's too bad really. There's nothing similar in the area and they had so much potential, but it's impossible to shop at a location that literally does not allow their customers into their store anymore.

This is really the store to go to for main furnishings, not just decorative. But they do have incredible holiday/seasonal decorations. If you certainly do the heavy lifting and bring the large items home yourself but they also contract out to a third party that you can arrange for pick up and delivery too. This store has beautiful mirrors and wall art too. It's easier to find multiple pieces of things here, unlike homegoods where you'll find only one. So things like matching chairs, wall art, mirrors, lamps that you need multiples of, this is where to go.

It took over ye old Toys R Us location in Carle Place so you know the ceilings are high. For such a big place, the aisles could have been wider, especially considering they opened during the pandemic where we all need s p a c e. However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. It's definitely one of the go-to places I will check when needing homewares.
