Having not visited here for some time, we were a bit surprised to find out there is now a $3 entrance fee (as of 3/2024). Parking in lot is free and no more street parking nearby. It is a giant space filled with lots of interesting items...and I had to laugh that most tags said "vintage." Prices are definitely on the higher end or there is no price tag at all. I am not sure how often new vendors are allowed , so not sure how much changes from week to week. It is a fun place to look around and there are loads of treasures and finds for crafty and creative individuals. It's not a place I would recommend to bring children. Only open on Sundays. read more

The parking is reasonable, but you can tell it can become quite busy. There is a $3.00 entry fee when entering Mongers Market. Mongers Market was super cool! Every Sunday, this huge warehouse is filled with vendors. There are endless treasures and gorgeous antique pieces through this ginormous place. We literally stayed for 3 hours, rummaging through so many incredible things. It's a collectors dreamland. Honestly, it was so neat seeing all the old vintage items from doors, furniture, wall art, clothes, to old Coca-Cola machines. You name it, and this place has it. There is a 3$ entrance fee, and most places only accept cash. There is an atmosphere on site, and some vendors accept venmo or cashapp, just as a heads up. Parking was kind of crazy, so get there early, and you'll be fine. It's totally worth the drive and time because this place was priceless! read more

If you like flea markets, antiques, and unique treasures, you're going to love this place! There's a $3 (cash only) entrance fee to get in, but it's totally worth it. Once inside, you'll be amazed at the size of the building, and seemingly endless rows of vendors, each selling their own collection of diverse items including antiques, furniture, tools, clothing, art, collectibles, and much much more! Make sure you bring cash, though some vendors do accept Venmo in addition to cash. I've been several times, and each time I seem to find something new that catches my eye. The first time there I bought a few records, as well as some vintage signs and bumper stickers. You honestly never know what you're going to find! Each time I go I spend about 2-3 hours and still don't run out of things to look at. Keep in mind that they're only open Sundays from 10AM to 4PM. There's free parking in the lot, but this often fills up (especially if you get there later in the day), though on-street parking is available nearby (no meters). You may have to park some distance though and walk, because cars are often lined up all the way down the street. The only bathroom facilities are porta-potties located outside of the main entrance. Although there are other large indoor flea markets and antique stores around CT, I'm not aware of any other place that's as massive or hosts as many vendors as Monger's Market (it's 75,000 square feet of floor space!). This is definitely a spot to add to your CT bucket list. Make sure you bring cash, and a vehicle large enough to haul away all of your treasures! read more

Architectural and Industrial Salvage NIRVANA!!! I have been looking for a place like this for years! Just an hours drive from my home, this place is bigger than probably a dozen football fields!! Wall to wall, floor to ceiling architectural salvage and industrial stuff!! Not a hoarders place, well organized, well laid out, fairly priced. Family run. Met the husband and wife. He is the genius behind the collection she said. I am pretty sure she had a hand. They are the nicest people. Look at the pics, wood planks, doors, wrought iron, light fixtures, bowling alley floors, lockers, gears, shelves, oh my it goes on and on and on The organization is breath taking. It was a Sunday and we were looking for something fun to do, I stumbled across a tik tok that showed a group of friends going to mongers market and I was immediately intrigued. I knew I had to go, and it did not disappoint. Bring cash $$$$.... Parking lot is small but most people seem To find a spot along the street. We took about 3 hours inside and we did not stop into every single Shop they had to offer but we took our time and explored all of the amazingness there was. If you are into just fun trinkets and old fun stuff then this is the place for you. They also had cute little shops with old or handmade jewelry. Fun for the girls or a family day. So worth it! What an overwhelmingly magical space! I met my sister here on Sunday and pulled into the lot filled with terror and anticipation since she JUST called to warn me of the chaotic parking situation. I found a spot right in front of the entrance which was unexpectedly amazing, but did notice that there's a good amount of street parking beyond the large lot - a bonus for overflow. Walking in, you're greeted by a floor to ceiling display of vintage trunks. If I didn't already have about 3 too many, I'd be all over that! Once I located by similarly awe-struck sibling, we bypassed salvage wonderland and went to the section that showcased dozens and dozens individual antique/vintage sellers. We picked up a few small decor pieces but most of the fun was in the browsing! Antique jewelry, furniture, kitchenware, oddities - you name it, it was all well represented. As an antiques and collectibles dealer, I recognize something terrific! Mongers Market is unique, and is worth a trip from anywhere! The building was an old factory in Bridgeport, and the restoration and design must have been a big task, but, the results are incredible! Monger's Market has, literally, everything from architectural salvage, windows, doors, columns, metal and more - to porcelain teacups, old photos, vintage furniture, mid-century modern and everything you can possibly imagine! What a treasure hunt! The place is huge, but well lit and organized, you need to put aside at least a few hours to walk around the place and check things out! This is the perfect place to find an amazing variety of antiques all in one place and so many different vendors. There is a small door fee, five dollars or something like that, so have a little cash handy but it is so worth the price. I easily spend hours and hours wondering about looking at everything from furniture to books to statues to jewelry to albums to whatever. A nice variety of items. Each booth is run independently. We met many interesting vendors, most were very pleasant, prices vary with each vendor. So much to see. A great day exploring and we bought a nice amount of items, some hard to find elsewhere. A nice atmosphere all in all. No working restrooms inside. Only porta potties outside. Hopefully, that is temporary, since it would be a deal breaker for many of my friends, and might make me hesitate to return. Now there is a $3 fee to enter. Was blown away then, but now about 2/3 of the space has been rented out to vendors and there's an atmosphere of indoor flea market rather than architectural wonder marketplace. I was more interested in the traditional antiques/vintage section than the salvage stuff, and there was enough to look at there to make it worth the trip. But beware the parking situation can be terrible: Today the lot was full at noon, and people were circling, double-parking, backing down one-way alleys, and parking along the road. It was really stressful; they need a traffic cop or something! By the time I left, at around 2 p.m., there were more spots available. Finally, the one bathroom was disgusting. There was water all over the floor; it was truly dirty and gross. I've been in nicer outhouses. If you're looking for antiques rather than salvage items, I'd skip this place and head to the Stratford Antique Center or Fairfield Co. Antique and Design Center in Norwalk. read more

A must visit if you love architectural salvage!They've done a great job converting a huge old factory into a stunning space filled with treasures that are actually reasonably priced! There's really no where else even remotely like this anywhere in the area. It's definitely mostly architectural pieces with a smaller section of individual sellers that have cool custom pieces, vintage and some antiques. We had no issues finding parking when we arrived there is a lot and street parking available and we enjoyed spending a few hours browsing. My only hope is that in the future they're open a few more days a week and if I'm really wishing maybe bring some food trucks and tables for people to have a bite outside. We will definitely be back because this place is AWESOME! read more

Had a great time this Sunday at Mongers Market. Drove 2.5 hours and was not disappointed. Huge space with multiple dealers. Some yard sale booths, some killer booths with the good stuff and some great furniture. Lots of industrial stuff as well. Like a mini Brimfield and we sure need that right now! Very cool place that I could easily spend hours browsing. Prices varied vendor to vendor but I found most of them a bit too rich for my blood. I know the going rates for what I collect and most of what was being asked was marked up well beyond that. That being said, there are deals to be found with luck and persistance. I can't speak as well to the industrial salvage side of things other than that they have some fascinating objects. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

Building looks great from the outside and the front half of the building (architectural salvage) was great to walk through. Would have purchased some lighting fixtures but was abruptly told there was no haggling, so what I was going to buy is still there if you want it! The back side of the space (dealers booths) was a delight as well and the dealers there were open to putting together a deal that worked out for both of us. Parking wasn't an issue for us, porta-potties outside, and a nice food truck for coffee. Definitely will go back to get ideas from the salvage side and make purchases from the booth dealers. read more
