As I entered the store one store attendant greeted me and I quickly responded with a hello. While browsing the surrounding I noticed a second store attendant in my peripheral shuffling the clothes. I immediately knew what that signifies sadly. She slowly made her way over to me while to ask if I am finding everything. I responded that I am looking for a particular item, which she directed me to the specific location in the store. It saddens me that for my first visit to this establishment that came highly recommended and received that type of a reception. Unfortunately I will not be visiting ever again and will not be recommending anyone either because of this experience.

I have gone to the FU bookstore several times, looking for specific books. Not obscure books, but…read morepopular literary works on "best seller" lists and/or highly reviewed. I have never found them there, nor has a clerk ever heard of them. I've tried to run in to grab something random to read while traveling or for a beach day, only to find them closed. 10:00 am to 6:00 pm?? I just don't bother anymore. This is not a bookstore interested in serving the community or serious readers. Save your energy and drive down to Westport for the closest real bookstore.

I am in retail myself and found the whole experience a total "turn-off" - if we treated our customers that way, we would have no customers. I told the gentleman what I came for. It's a Thursday May 08. He said they were not accepting the coupon because they were busy with orders for mother's day. No where on the coupon did it list exclusions. Additionally, they had premade chocolate dipped strawberries in the case which is what I was going to get. He didn't even attempt to help me. Had no idea when it would be there.. obviously my mom wasn't there to receive the chocolates so I had to tell my husband to bring them inside. When I asked my mom how they were she said the pineapple was too hard and the strawberries were too soft and didn't taste right. I did call the business and was told the manager would call me back (this was 2 days ago). I haven't received a call from anyone. I would also like to note i did speak to the staff member who prepared the pineapple and she said they do use the core. I'm not sure why I'm paying for a pineapple core... but I guess my moms review was accurate. She said it was too tough and tasted like the core and nothing else.
