Fantastic experience getting a Christmas tree! All trees are pre-cut and organized by height. Immediately upon arriving, a staff member offered to help us find the perfect tree. He held up different trees side by side so we could choose. Very patient and kind. Once we selected the tree, he netted it and made a fresh cut on the trunk. Then he took it to our car AND tied it on securely. Amazing service! Beautiful plants! Fabulous experience. Definitely recommend. read more

Yeah. Great place. My girlfriend from California who I haven't seen in 2 years sent me a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. She wanted to surprise me, but a few days after she finally asked me if I received them. Ruining the surprise of course. She called the florist and they said they would attempt to deliver them again. They said they tried that weekend but no one was home. This was not accurate of course. My 18 year old daughter was home the entire day. After 3 days, I still did not receive them. I called and the woman from Eden told me they were delivered. After going back and forth with her I told her to please just refund my friend. It was a week after Mother's Day. I didn't have the flowers and let's move on. Good news guys. I got the flowers today. Today! July 3rd! My son's friend found them near the dumpster in my complex and of course my name, address and phone number was on the outside on full display, so he brought them to me. Look at the pics. Maybe they have rotted so much that I can use them for some type of medicinal herb or antibiotic. Thank you Eden Farms. I have to run now and call all the credit bureaus since my identity has most likely been stolen. read more

Highly recommend for service, and Christmas trees. The couple that helped us were very sweet and helpful, and secured the tree in our car. The trees themselves are gorgeous and fresh. They even have a fire pit with marshmallows while you wait, giving you that "home" feel. Again, I highly recommend for anyone looking for quality, and great service! read more

I'm a longtime customer of Eden Farms and I've never had a single bad experience with them. They always have a great selection of annuals and Christmas trees. I've never had any quality issues with any of the plants I've purchased from them ranging from trees to house-plants. Many of my friends have also employed them for their stonework, and cannot speak more highly of their expertise. I personally can't relate to the other reviews that say the customer service was poor. It's a family run business and it's pretty clear they are happy to go out of their way to help out if it's needed. Their selection of plants are fantastic. I love supporting local business. Our first time using them was flawless and the older gentleman who maybe is the owner (?) set everything up. They brought all the bushes/plants and made the beds looks gorgeous. However- the next 2 years following, have been choppy to say the least. More recently, we went to purchase several large plants and flowers and were prepared to pay whatever the cost for their staff to deliver the plants and create a bed. As others said, customer service is lacking (again more recently) and you are basically on your own. Regardless, I spent time picking out an arrangement and tracked down an employee. I explained I picked everything out- and was looking for services to deliver/plant and mulch. She said there is one person that arranges all of that and he leaves early in the day for meetings. They said they will leave a message with him to call us ASAP to arrange. It's been a week already with no avail. Last year we ended up waiting with a tree we purchased and again- due to poor communication, it took weeks. It almost died in the meantime. I guess my gripe occurring more recently is just lack of communication or follow through. I will be looking for other local nursery's since this place is opposite from smooth sailing. It's a shame because it's a cute nursery and has a great selection. read more

Stopped here today to pick up some items for container gardening because I wanted to shop local instead of just getting the same items at a big box store. Inventory looks lovely and of great quality, but service was lacking. Florists were too busy for Mother's day weekend to ask if I needed help while I stood in front of the fertilizers and insecticides. Went outside and didn't receive any help from the men organizing plants outside either. Had to locate a wagon and lift/drag the potting soil myself, then go back and wait at the cashier counter again. One of the busy florists had to ring me up, which she clearly didn't want to do because she had just been complaining to her coworker that the men outside were supposed to be taking care of the garden supply customers. It gave the impression that I was an inconvenience to them. I finally received some assistance from one of the men outside when I struggled to maneuver the wagon back outdoors, but that was it for assistance. I still had to get my heavy purchases into the trunk of my car by myself. Not once was I asked if I needed help. I've received much friendlier service at the big box stores. This was a rather disappointing visit to what appears to be a well-stocked, quality, local garden center. read more

Eden Farms is the best in Stamford in customer service. I purchased 9 plants/shrubs for my front yard. They called ahead of time to share estimated time to arrive. JJ went above and beyond to place all in spots for landscaper to plant. Paying a little more for outstanding customer service is worth it. Great job, JJ! read more

GREAT PLACE! Has a huge pumpkin patch, haunted house, pony rides, and tons of decorations during Halloween! Also during Christmas they have photos with Santa, fire pits, smores, Christmas trees and wreaths, and a great selection of ornaments! I would definitely not recommend this establishment to anyone. I went in last Wednesday and bought almost $45.00 worth of herbs, plants, and flowers. The flowers I bought were roses and carnations. They told me at the store the roses should last about a week. The roses were dropping and no good in two days. After three days the carnations didn't look right. I brought them back on Saturday. The owner told me didn't give them enough water or they had too much sun which was not true. She gave different flowers and made it clear in a rude way if these flowers died that I would be responsible. She made a face when I asked her for tube holders and to for wrapping paper which was wrinkled. I went back there today to talk to the owner and didn't realize she was the owner on Saturday. I told she was rude to be because of accusing me of not treating my flowers properly. I told her she was rude to make faces at me. She said that she had no other problems with the flowers. I believe her flowers were either too old or not from a good vendor. I told her I felt I would should get reimbursement she rudely said no. I told that you don't treat customers they would she treated me. She said I didn't have to come back there. I told her I would not go back there again. I feel any customer should be treated they why I was especially by an owner. I recommend that people good where they are treated like a real customer. I will never go there again. read more
