I booked a massage for myself and my husband. I don't particular care if we are in the same room getting our massages or not. They had a couple couples room which is where we had our massages We got here early because I thought it was a tea house. Michelle in the front was super accommodating and said she would go see if our room was ready. Our room was ready so she said we could go in there and sit down and relax and enjoy our tea and goodies. I loved everything about this place from the vibe to the tea and desserts and friendliness of staff. If you make a 5 o'clock appointment, your massage doesn't start till 515 and it ends at 6:15 because they allow you 15 minutes to wind down and enjoy some tea They have monthly memberships and their prices are extremely fair I was supposed to have one girl give me a massage, but she had to leave early with an emergency and they gave me somebody else. The vibe, feel, idea, decor and staff friendliness would all be a five star rating. My husband says his massage was five stars. However, my massage was a one star. She pulled on my toes and my fingers and that was not pleasant, she massaged my scalp so hard that I got an Indian burn on my head from my hair and her fingers. She forgot my name, and I really just did not enjoy my massage. I really wanted to love this place as we were looking for a new place to do memberships. Unfortunately, we are doing our memberships for the next six months at another spa. There is a reason this place has 5 stars. The prices are comparable to other spas but with the tea experience I feel like you get much more. I've been several times and love their facial/massage 180 minute combo. This particular visit, was greeted by the massage therapist Brittany and she asked for all of my preferences in advance. She started with aromatherapy and did a full body massage. She did amazing and I fell asleep several times. After the massage, I spent about 15 minutes drinking delicious tea and eating the fruit and treats they come with it. I'll be back again in a few months. Elizabeth really took her time to listen to me and my problem areas before beginning, her expertise really took over, and she explained what she would do to help me. How relaxing was spa day? Well, I apparently fell asleep a few times during a 2 hour treatment. When you walk in, you're greeted with the most beautiful smells. The demeanor and vibe of the staff that welcomes you in and leads you to the tea room is so calming. They were hospitable and accommodating. The robes and slippers were warm--that was perfection. My treatment bed was cozy. I did the back treatment w hot stones and a facial. Loved Marcel, he had the gentlest touch and spoke with such a warm and relaxing tone. They serve you a calming tea from a dainty tea kettle in a dainty tea cup and give you a little plate of snacks. Self care 101. Both the massage and facial with Elizabeth were amazing. I've been suffering from allergies and she really customized both services to help clear and drain my sinuses as well as help me relax. She focused on those spots on my face and scalp- the peppermint scalp massage was probably my favorite part. She really took her time to focus on the areas that really needed it. My experience at Wild Berry Tea Spa was AMAZING. When I first walked in, I was served a mimosa while I filled out proper paperwork. Then, before my facial, they serve you a small plate with yummy snacks and fresh made tea (I had Italian Wedding tea and it was TO DIE FOR). During my facial they used tea, essential oils, and hot/cold stones. My skin has cleared up significantly (I was having frequent breakouts of cystic acne). My skin was relatively dried out after the facial, so I had to up my moisturizing routine. But now, 2 weeks post-treatment, my skin is glowing and multiple people have noticed!! One of the best facial experiences I've ever had. Julie is friendly, sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. It was very easy to get hold of her for an appointment and she was very accommodating. The place itself is really cute and calming. When you walk in, you are treated with tea and snacks. She then, goes over every step of the facial. I chose to do the specialtea facial which was 75 mins long and included a peel. One of my favorite part was the head and foot massage which she does after putting the mask/peel on. I was able to schedule a facial the day before coming into town. The owner and my esthetician (Angel) are two of the sweetest people I had the pleasure of speaking with and getting to know. The facial started with a heavenly mixture of teas to drink (jasmine and two others that have slipped my mind). Being a southern girl, I Iike my tea sweeter, but there was no need to add anything to this lovely potpourri of tea mixture. To accompany the tea I was given a few tiny tea cookies ranging in flavors from a pecan shortbread to a tiny crispy lemon delight. Once I discussed my unique skin needs, my facial commenced. Angel was very informative throughout the process and discussed my own skin needs and even my daughter's (my daughter was not present either). I was not aware that I would not only get a facial, but a hand and arm massage as well. At the session's end, the card reader was having a hard time processing two different SpaFinder gift cards. I told Angel to keep them and I could certainly use a gift card for the remaining balance as I look forward to returning. My whole experience this afternoon was phenomenal. I'm in town from Chicago for a conference and needed a good massage before returning home. I arrived early because I took a Lyft from the Hyatt Regency Riverfront hotel and didn't want to be late. I got checked in and Sydney took me to the cutest room where I was offered a mimosa, tea and a plate with fruit and sweet treats. Amber was my massage therapist and she was AMAZING! I've been getting massages for over 30 years and this is the best I've ever had. She started at the feet ( including massaging the balls of my feet) and finished at the head. Perfect pressure and very gentle. My table was heated also. I had the 90 minute tranquility massage. I hate I can't take her back to Chicago. What a wonderful experience it truly was an experience, and Julie goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. I wanted to treat my my boyfriend and I, so I arranged with Julie via Yelp and texting an appointment for Friday evening for two facials. When we arrived, Julie and her coworker greeted us warmly and had us fill out paperwork. Then, she walked us to a private room, where she had tea, fruit, chocolate, tiramisu, and sweets for us, all natural and organic. The tiramisu was my favorite! She explained the teas to us and asked us if we wanted mimosas. We were able to sit and relax before we went to our separate rooms for our facials. Julie explained the process and the products she was going to use on me. She told me if anything didn't feel right , to let her know. It was such a relaxing 75 minutes, and I couldn't even begin to explain everything she used and what she did. You'll have to experience it for yourself try the seasonal facial, since she mixes up different scents. This seasonal facial was tropical, so there was pineapple and orange scents.
