Cloud mist green tea with cheese foam.

Cheese foam is amazing. I want it on everything. The cloud mist tea is nice and light. I ordered it with no sweetener but next time I'll probably try it lightly sweetened. I ordered dine in and was given my sandwich to go, which is fine. I sat there and ate it anyway. The lady dropping off my food seemed angry. I ordered a chicken sandwich with soy garlic sauce. The sauce is good, and the first couple bites are good while the chicken is hot. However the chicken was rubbery and after a few bites the sandwich fell apart and was a mess. It's a cute place. But you can tell they really don't want people eating there. I'll go back for the drinks, I'm not sure about the food.

The drinks here are great with really great flavor. This is a super chill place to hang out and the service is fast. My only complaint is I saw a couple on ants around table. It could have been a freak one off thing.

The service was good but I didn't like the Korean corn dog it didn't have any flavor. I did enjoy the French toast sticks just wished it came with syrup.

I know I said I came for Korean chicken but decided to order the fried pork dumplings and an original potato dog.Let me just say they were both delicious! The fried pork dumplings are some of the best I've tasted in the states. It has all the flavor you expect and it's a moist on the inside and has a nice crunch on the outside. The potato dog is the best I've had in Jax! It's not sweet, just savory once you bite into the dog and get that potato. I have a friend that likes the kind that has the sweeter taste so it's really individual preferences. Tsaocaa it's my speed for Korean potato dogs. TSAoCAA isn't just for the bubble tea, there are many places you can get that, the food is on point! When you walk in you place your order on the tablet but if you're new you can ask the staff and they'll gladly assist you. While I was there both tablets were in use by guest and the staff quickly said they could help at the counter. This is my second time here and I'm keeping it on my restaurant go to list.

    Ovaltine Slush

I stumbled upon the grand opening of this Tsaocaa this past weekend running an errand out this way. I saw the BOGO sign on the front door and got even More excited! This location is clean, refreshing, and super cute! I love the panda theme. The quality of their food and boba drinks from the beach Blvd location by the giant orange dinosaur has never been disappointing, so I anticipated that this experience too would be just the same. (Now if you know this beach Blvd location, it's Jax's OG location) The interior looks a little disheveled, but it's still cute; and the product is always good! At this new, northside location, I ordered an Ovaltine slush with oat milk and brown sugar jelly. I actually ordered my Bogo drinks wrong, and didn't realize it until I saw what the drink looked like. I meant to order/add tapioca boba, and not jellies. I instantly knew this was my fault when ordering, which I stated immediately and apologized. The girls working behind the counter were quick to offer to add some boba in my drink, for free. This was so sweet and I'm very glad to see such amazing customer service. This of course was my fault ordering incorrectly, but the girls quickly were there with a solution as to how to make it better. Very pleased with my first experience here, and I will be back to order more things.

Brown sugar milk tea with cheese foam

I didn't expect to find this little gem in a sea of retail stores. I love milk tea. The restaurant is pretty spacious and has the cutest panda great for a photo op. Customers can place their order via kiosk and enter a phone number to know when their order is ready. You can customize your tea with various milks, toppings, and sugar levels. I purchased the brown sugar tea with cheese foam. So good! I really like the lid. Most boba places have a plastic poke through lid. This was lid was hard plastic and had a slot specifically for your straw. You can take the top off if needed which I did to share with my little cousin. Sharing is caring!

Korean fried chicken 10 piece, hot and spicy

Just stopped in for my first visit. Grabbed a large peach oolong milk tea and a 10 piece hot and spicy wings. I'll definitely be back because this is absolutely delicious The service was quick and easy as well. The staff was friendly as well which is always a plus. The ambiance was great with the music playing over the speakers. Just a note...if you order the fried chicken it'll take 15+ minutes so be patient...so worth it.

This was the first place we went after my husband got home from a deployment! We LOVE the bubble teas, wings and especially the waffles. Quick service, extraordinary food and a light, airy setting that's inviting for all ages.

Taro was not great. Its more of a milk drink. With 0 sugar it was still pretty sweet. Liked my fruit tea. Had 30% auger and was pretty sweet. Might ask for no sugar next time. Bubble waffle was good. Crunchy outside and chewy in the middle. You can order on the kiosk and at the counter. Very cute decor.

Honey citrus tea in a used cup

We wanted to stop for some tea and food after flying into Jacksonville and getting ready for a 2 hour drive. Pros: the plain fried chicken was pretty good, we enjoyed the raspberry and coffee macarons, and my husband liked the pineapple mojito tea with tapioca boba. Cons: I ordered a honey citrus green tea with tapioca boba. It came with some scoops of a jam that had citrus rinds and a few seeds in it. Other people might enjoy that, but I expected just tea with some slices of citrus, honey, and boba and I really disliked the texture of the rinds and seeds mixed with the boba. I went up to explain and ask if they could just strain my tea and give me the liquid with some boba. The cashiers were friendly and explained that it was part of the jam and weren't sure if they could do that. An other lady (possibly manager) was very rude and kept loudly repeating there were no seeds in it even though I showed her some in my cup and the other workers showed her some in the jar of jam. She picked up a strainer then put it down, came over and got a spoon and continued to spoon out some seeds while loudly complaining there were no seeds. I understand the inconvenience, but there was no need for her to be so bothered and rude by me just asking to have the small pieces strained out, especially when that wasn't listed as an ingredient on the menu. She did not end up straining the drink but instead picked out the seeds and gave it back with the pulp and rinds still in it. It wasn't until I left and drank a little more of it that I realized it was in a USED CUP with someone else's order sticker on it! We placed a $40 order and I was so disappointed with not only my drink, but just the unnecessary unkindness.

Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Good but I like the Korean Fried Chicken better.

Korean Fried Chicken arrives to the Northside, finally. (I'm looking at you Bonchon!). So, recently the Bubble-tea/Hong Kong Egg Bubble Waffles/Korean Fried Chicken chain called TSAOCAA opened a location on the Northside of Jacksonville at the River City Marketplace. Since I've been craving some Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) wings for a while now and the three Bon Chon locations I know about are all far from the Northside, I decided to go check them out. Though I have eaten at the TSAOCAA location twice before in their Mandarin location. I took my wife with me and we got a few things to try. We ordered two of their half and half Potato Corn Dogs. One order of Sweet Potato Fries. One order of Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken and a 10 pc. Order of Wings, which I asked for half and half ("Secret Spice" flavor and Soy Garlic). I don't think they actually did both flavors. They all looked the same to us. And we each got a beverage. She ordered a Fresh Fruit Mojito (Passion Fruit). And I ordered a Coconut Mango drink with Grapefruit and I subbed out the standard Boba with some Mango Boba. It'd have been nice if they strained out the seeds from the passion fruit. Regardless, she enjoyed the flavor and my drink was tasty also. The staff was friendly, particularly the person who rang us up. They have two ordering kiosks, but we didn't use them. I was waiting to see if the Taiwanese popcorn chicken was garnished with fried Thai Basil leaves, as I have seen that in pictures of this dish before. It was not. They are tasty, but I think I prefer the KFC better. The corndogs, while a fun item, they are quite filling and really eating one of those is about all you need and maybe a drink. We struggled. The KFC wings were nice, very crispy and good flavor. I think they are a bit cheaper than Bonchon. (10 pc at TSAOCAA was $14+ and 8 pc at Bonchon is 14.85). A couple of years ago when first tried TSAOCAA in Mandarin, they had thighs on the menu. You could get a combo of 5 thighs and fries and that was so much food you could feed at least two or three people. Sadly, it's gone from the menu. I like dark meat, so I think thighs are more economical than drumsticks. Overall, the food and drinks are good. Be prepared to wait for the chicken, as they cook them to order, and double fry them to get them extra crispy. That's a nice touch. I don't know anyone who prefers fried food that's been sitting under a heat lamp or in warmer box. Prices for wings have just gotten silly since the plandemic. Even in grocery stores for a pack of raw wings. So, the place has a nice charm to it and even though we ordered to eat in, they brought it to our table in a bag and boxes. I guess they don't have trays or plates. The tables are small, and we were playing a bit of food Tetris trying to find where to put everything. I plan on going back every now and then to get my wing fix, or a good tea drink.

They've all kinds of coffee drinks, boba & specialty flavored teas, wonderful savory & sweet food choices, & even veg-friendly options! (As a veg-head, I greatly appreciate this ) The food portions are larger than I thought they'd be. We got a few different things to try... Kuki Butter Latte- coffee is truly bright & flavorful. The sweet cream foam adds the perfect amount of sweetness to top off the caramel drizzle & crushed cookies in the cup. Deviled Egg waffle- now you *know* I had to add avocado to this. It wasn't exactly what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of an egg salad situation & not just sliced pieces of egg. Still flavorful. The spicy mayo isn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be as well. Definitely a "knife & fork" style of eating on this one. Grilled Cheez It, Brah waffle- cheese pull 9/10! A couple of different savory cheeses in this one perfectly pair with the crisp exterior & light sweetness of the waffle. LOVED this! Chicken Sammie waffle- (described by my hubby, as I am a vegetarian & cannot eat this) fried chicken patty is moist, the right amount of thickness, & flavorful. Mayo, pickles, lettuce, & cheddar cheese ratios make this sandwich rather delightful. All in all... great food. Amazing portions for the prices. Healthy, clean options. If you're looking for FAST... this may not be the place for you. In my opinion, no food made quickly ever tasted as good as that which took a little more time. ‍ We will definitely be coming back
