Came here for a K-pop event and decided to order some food before it started. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and one of their lemonade drinks. Both came out quickly and were pretty tasty. I should have asked for more teriyaki sauce since there was a lot of rice and it needed some sauce. Really cute spot with lots of seating, and some board games available, making this is a really nice place to hang out. I'm also a big big fan of their poke bowls! It's customizable and you're able to pick so many toppings without any additional fees resulting in a really filling meal. However not the biggest fan of their fruit milk teas. Taichi has been one of our favorites since they opened. We especially like that they have a small size. It's perfect for kids who want to try different flavors, and Mom doesn't have to share! we typically get the taro milk tea, mango milk tea and the dalonga coffee with boba. I stopped at Taichi Bubble Tea on a whim after grocery shopping. I was pleasantly surprised to see how cute the inside was set up. The menu is pretty diverse as well. I really enjoyed the fact that you can create your own personalized rice bowl, sushi bowl, or sushi burrito wrap. I also was really impressed with the selection of ramen and sushi. For this visit, I created a sushi wrap which was so delicious. I ate it before I could even get a good picture. I look forward to coming back and trying the ramen. This place... awesome. My family stumbled across this place after my daughter's two Boba tea places were not opened yet. So, I typed "Boba tea" into Waze, and Taichi was the closest to our location. As it was my daughter's 14th birthday, we waited the 10 minutes for them to open. She just wanted her typical Boba tea order of brown sugar mess of a drink, and she said it was delicious! She got a kick out of the sealed lid that you had to poke the straw hole into the mood you were in. As the rule for family birthdays, she got to pick where we went for dinner, and, surprise, surprise, she picked Taichi. After spending the afternoon in Daytona, we drove straight there and got dinner to go. We walked in and chose to order using the computer rather than wasting the employee's time. My son, who eats nothing fun or exciting, got the Miso Ramen with chicken. Granted, he only ate the noodles, juice and chicken, but he said it was better food than Cheesecake Factory. This was a huge compliment from a 10-year-old. I got the rice bowl with plenty of veggies. DELICIOUS! My daughter got the Chicken Miso, as well. She said it was really good as well. Decided to try out this place and have my much delivered. After careful consideration, I chose the Dalgona Coffee and the One Protein Poke Bowl. The Dalgona Coffee with Oat Milk is amazing! I also through in some Crystal Boba for fun and not to complement it. I was just being extra. I can't believe I didn't have any sooner because the taste is very unique. As it was a to-go order, a lot of the whipped portion stayed at the top of the sealed cup and clung to the sides so after finishing the liquid you get a nice treat of scooping up the rest with your straw. The one protein for my Poke Bowl I got was spicy tuna, then added white rice, spinach, cucumber, corn, cream cheese, edamame, cherry tomato, mushroom, yuzu, cilantro, and mango. The spicy tuna I was expecting to be in a "spicy" sauce but this came out in a "creamy" sauce, like a spicy mayo perhaps. No matter, it tasted very fresh and with a hint of spice. We built our bowls, adding salmon and tuna, a variety of mix-ins, sauces, toppings, and even crunchy items. It was a big plus that they offered sauces on the side. We also got mango green tea, one InfruiTea and one Fruit Tea, with boba. We dined in and our food was ready quickly. The bowls were delicious, both the one with greens and the one with rice. The teas had a good level of sweetness to them and we thought the boba was well made. Neither the small or large cups were filled with ice, which was great. I was pleased with the endless options this quick service restaurant provides when ordering off of your mobile. I got a poke bowl with two proteins (spicy tuna and crab) How aesthetically pleasing is this lil restaurant near Kernan? It was clean, bright, and welcoming. So welcoming I decided to eat my Togo poke bowl inside. I also ordered a taro milk tea to go on my way out from one of their kiosks. They offer two options of ordering. You can use a kiosk, or order at the counter with a real person - I did like that they offered both. My bowl was packed to the lid and I liked that you can pick up to three sauces with no additional cost. The spicy tuna was good and not too spicy. I will say the crab was the only slight negative here with my whole experience. Normally if you order "krab" you know it's imitation crab. Because crab was spelled the normal, correct way; I genuinely thought I'd be getting real crab (before knowing this place is a franchise while placing my order online) Of course realistically, how can a franchise be pumping out tons of real crab as a protein topping for these bowls and burritos - I should have known better. Needless to say, everything in my bowl was extremely fresh. Next time I go, I would substitute the crab for a different protein. This is my update review since I wanted to visit for a meal after picking up a mango smoothie on my first visit a few months ago. I will say up front that this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in JAX! I love the arrangement of seating and the appearance of the interior. Staff is very courteous and helpful. I've come to feel quite comfortable on my visits now. But up to this day, I had not tried any of the food offerings. Happy to say I was thrilled with what I had ordered. I chose the miso ramen, which was full of vegetables, noodles in a large blow that you can't finish it's so loaded! My friend took the tonkotsu ramen - it contained some things similar to the miso, but it had eel, unlike the miso. This bowl was impossible to finish as well. I am very happy that it tasted very good as a leftover as well! Some might say it's pricey, and to some extent I believe that. However, you get much more than you'll eat in the restaurant - and be very happy when you leave as you take an extra meal or two in your take-home bag! Awesome place to eat! I'll be back! read more

Love this new boba/ramen/poke bowl place. The ambiance is cute and it looks very cozy. They also have nice outdoor seating area. Love the food that we ordered. The spicy chicken ramen was good and has big portion. The roasted pork rice box was delicious and has yummy marinate. I also loved the 2 protein poke bowl. The taste was so refreshing. The beef bowl box was good too, however the beef was a bit chewy and fatty. Drinks were also good. My favorite was the Taro Zang Zang milk. I can taste the real Taro puree. What can I say? This place is hip, cool, with the times, it's a new building and it still smells of it, which I like. Just getting back from a trip overseas, I can say this place totally compares. First this store functions kind of like a cava or Chipotle. The difference is that they have a paper on the right side of the lineup area.that you can fill out and pay up front. I appreciate that more than trying to control how many "ums" I use when ordering. They also have kiosks on the side in case there are too many people. However it wasn't really working for me. They have gotten it working while I've been gone. My friend ordered a hot dish and I ordered a poke bowl. Although we came later near the closing time on a weekday, they still had other people coming in and out. The hot dish was well sauced and very tasty. But I think the customizable poke bowls is where they shine. They really shove as much as they can into the bowl. It lasted me 2 days, once I could fish out all the salmon. They also give ample protein. Chipotle could never. I was so happy with what I got. How can I praise it more? The fish was very fresh too! They have a self service water and utensils are right by the pick up area which is very convenient. As someone who has major social anxiety, this warms my heart. You can probably go through the entire store without human interaction if you wanted to. Decor is cute and immaculate. They also sell some of the plushies they display. Already comes with pearls, but you can request for a different filler (my friend got some jelly with hers). Let's just say 2 out of 5 of us liked our drinks. I don't like giving a bad review, but my Taro Milk Tea tasted like medicinal powder. I didn't make any changes to my order (i.e. sugar level or filler). Maybe it was just off, and I just need to order something else. Some of my friends said their's was too sweet, even when they asked for 50% sugar only. So, again, it may be preference.
