I have neglected my Kia Sportage a bit, and GG is helping me get it back on track, one thing at a time. I wanted an oil change but I knew it was far more than that. The complete electric diagnostic showed me areas I suspected needed help but I was fearful of finding out (you know, out of sight out of mind?). Whatever the case, I had my oil flushed and cleaned out and taken care of. I can FEEL and HEAR the difference in my engine. Over the next few months I will tackle other things as I get paid. Bruce was a gem. Friendly and up front. When he says he's gonna call, he does. The quote stays the quote. No pressure to get anything done. I like that. Bruce is even going to make up a maintenance schedule for me. Solid. I'll be back.

After shopping 7 Nissan dealerships, I was exhausted by changing numbers, high-pressure tactics,…read moreand dealers requiring financing and warranties just to honor a price. Mossy Nissan Poway was the complete opposite. A huge thank you to Sophia, who won me over with her empathy, honesty, and genuine client-first approach in what can often feel like a man's world. Gael was an outstanding salesman and even spent time playing Hangman with my daughters along with the manager Jayson making what could have been a long day one they'll actually remember fondly. Thank you to Tim, the finance manager, for finding great financing and taking the time to customize a warranty that fit my needs instead of trying to sell me something I didn't want. And a special thank you to Jayson for going above and beyond to earn my business. He gave me one of the most competitive deals and repeatedly reminded me that if the numbers didn't work for me, I was free to walk away. That's the least pressure I've ever felt buying a vehicle, and it's something every consumer should remember--you can always walk away. The biggest surprise? My 8-year-old and 12-year-old daughters spent nearly five hours at the dealership with no kids' area and both left saying it was "the best time ever." That says everything about the hospitality and atmosphere the team created. We drove home in our brand-new 2026 Pathfinder SL feeling excited instead of exhausted. And with the amazing competitive deals made I for the first time ever woke up with 0 buyers remorse anxiety! One final note: after I purchased my vehicle, Mossy Nissan El Cajon called to say they could beat the deal by another $500--after previously requiring financing and expensive warranty purchases to get their pricing. By then, my decision had already been made. Price matters, but honesty, consistency, and how you're treated matter even more. Thank you, Mossy Nissan Poway, for earning our business. I would recommend you without hesitation!

Long story short, driving my car today on the freeway it felt better than it has felt in a long long time. I took my high-performance vehicle here for a routine checkup a few months ago, and since then the car has not driven the same. I also noticed a significant increase in mileage after the visit, which raised concerns for me. When I brought these concerns up to the owner, I personally did not feel the explanations addressed the situation adequately. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning or recommending this shop to others. I encourage anyone considering this shop to carefully document their vehicle mileage and condition before and after service.

We were far away in Michigan coordinating the work. It felt like we could have been easily talked into unnecessary work and a much bigger bill. The work got done in the timetable we needed. Minor miscommunications happened but it was our issue, and these guys are super busy.. so in retrospect, we are thankful for how helpful they were to clarify some details on how to pick up the van on a Sunday when they were closed. BUYER BEWARE…read more Unfortunately I had to come and replace my once GLOWING TESTIMONIAL with a now, regrettably revised version, now that I have all the facts. Fact of the matter is that after having spent $4596.39 at this place that OVERLOOKED MAJOR COMPONENTS during my vehicle service as verified by Encinitas Ford I was obligated to update my review accordingly. The facts are as follows; 1) I am on disability and only get $1200/monthly and these people totally extorted me by not servicing my vehicle correctly 2) I trusted them to take care of my vehicle and they didn't (BUYER BEWARE/Careful who you trust) 3) I had to incur EXTRA COSTS as a low income person to inspect their work that substantiated this place overlooked key components related to the service requested (TRANSMISSION SERVICE) 4) After spending FIVE MONTHS OF MY INCOME my truck is STILL NOT UP TO PAR. I will be paying off this debt for the next year and a half of my life all while my truck is not even repaired correctly.

I lost the transmission hauling my travel trailer up a steep grade, that was what prompted me to look for a mechanic in the area as I had just moved here. I'm picky when it comes to mechanics because I've been taken advantage of before and had some bad repairs done. I like a mechanic who will take the time to explain problems to me. I also like to bounce upgrade ideas off of them to get their opinion and input. Any mechanic who won't take a moment of time to do these things is out in my book. Wendall explained every problem and even offered upgrade ideas I had already read about that would fix said problems much better than stock parts. At the time I didn't quite have the cash to get it fixed so I brought the truck back home and it sat for a year and 4 months until I had the amount I needed. In that year I did browse around different shops, some of them cheaper even, but none of them gave me the same feeling Wendall's shop did. This is a one-stop-shop for all your diesel needs, seriously. Great, no bullshit, old school guy with a ton of knowledge around diesels. I moved back down South an hour and I will still use him for my truck's needs. THAT is how much I loved him. He won't be your cheapest option, but man is he worth EVERY penny. As a side note, ask Wendall about these guys claiming he sold them a blown motor and he will explain. As you know, there are two sides to every story. Don't let that deter you from seeing this shop, they are amazing! Thank you Wendall and team for taking care of my old girl!
