But none the less, it worked out that I came in because I follow She's Happy Hair on IG and had already planned to shop there for my daughter's senior ball. The thing of it all is, I just recently moved here from CA, and have been trying to find the best of the best as a black woman who believes in patronizing my own as much as I can. But of course, Detroit being so big and me not knowing "who's who" of the city, I've been aimlessly searching by trial and error. However, Ajee and Ashley gave me a plethora of information and go to's! From giving me the advice on what hair to buy for my daughter, to making provision on making her hair and nail appts! They even gave me a great hair stylist and nail tech to go to as well! Keep in mind, I hadn't bought anything today, and that is the great kind of customer service I received. They were warm and welcoming, they didn't try to over sell me, and their advice was invaluable! As a new resident, and customer, to have had such a pleasant experience like this, is so awesome. Ajee and Ashley were a breath of fresh air and have left a lasting impression on my first experience with She's Happy Hair. I constantly have to keep stroking through it because it keeps getting bunched up and maddit. The hair also smells really bad when you wet it has a very strong Factory smell. There's no way this is 100% human hair this has to be a human blend I don't recommend this here not worth the money!!

The cut turned out pretty good, but the 4 stars comes from the stylist having multiple clients at once, with an assistant doing the finishing touches/styling. I was not a fan of being passed off and I did not like how the gal was styling it. The master stylist had to come over several times to correct her. Overall, the salon is nice, clean and products are good. Just wish I didn't feel like a number when paying over $100 for a haircut.
