I bought 2 wigs! They are very helpful. They will also style your wig and trim it to your liking. Janice was helpful in explaining how to handle it and care for it. If you're looking for a wig, visit Ruby's! read more

I went to Ruby's Wig Salon yesterday and Janis took care of me. I was 1 hour late to my appointment because of the heavy rain. She was very kind, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She told me the pros and cons of different products. She opened my mind to the possibilities. I highly recommend this salon! read more

Outstanding service, super loving and sweet. 10/10 will always return here. Customer service was more than heart warming and made a difference in this situation we are currently experiencing. read more

They are amazing and bought 3 wigs from them. They are extremely helpful, and work with you when you make the appointment.

Wow, what a wonderful place! The owner George was so kind and considerate, and Simin was so creative with options for my thinning hair. She told me that they even help men. Sumin took her time and has such an expertise with styling "toppers" (not full wigs), which works for me since my hair is growing back, but just not full-looking (especially at my crown). Great experience and a lot of inventory to choose from to make me feel better with using other options:). Wigs are my go-to, but now I can branch out a little bit. read more

I was recently diagnosed and started chemo. I had no knowledge about wigs. I walked into Ruby's and was greeted by Janice. She was so lovely, took her time to explain about synthetic hair wigs, etc. She assured me this was going to be great! She took pictures of my hair and we ordered a wig in my style. My wig came in and I took my friend too for advice. Quite honestly I was really nervous. The color of the hair of the wig matched mine. Janice trimmed the wig to my head and neck it looked, felt, and reacted so close to my own hair. The part of the hair looked natural too! It was magical! I can't thank Janice enough for her patience, and knowledge she gave me. My entire family and friends can't get over how natural it looks! Janice really made this experience so pleasant and I came out of that store with the wig on and didn't feel nervous that I had it on and what people would think what's on that ladies head? Many... many thanks! read more

In 2019 & 2020 there was No Selection in different price ranges. Had to order wigs on line. They aren't familiar with their stock. Hopefully they are much better now. It was a horrible experience. I was desperate for a wig. I spent way too much money for the wrong wig. read more

Such a great place! The service is outstanding. The selection of wigs and toppers is the best around! The prices are reasonable, too. I was able to find a wigs that looks just like my hair should look if I didn't have alopecia. Everyone I know thought it was my natural hair and that I just styled it differently. I love my wig so much that I have ordered another one just like it for a spare, and I have made an appointment for my mom who also has alopecia. She refuses to wear a wig, but since she's seen me in mine, she wants to get one. read more

Simin met us when we walked in. I needed a hair topper. She perfectly matched my color the first time. Then she cut it to match my bob hair cut. She's an excellent beautician. Explains caring for hair piece. Very good price. I highly recommend Ruby's Wig Salon. read more

Ruby's Wig Salon on Bingle Rd. Is an excellent wig salon if you are looking for a hair solution. My daughter and I visited Ruby's a couple of weeks ago, I can't even begin to say enough good things about Sherry the stylist, and George the owner. They worked with my daughter to help her find the perfect style, color and fit for her. She felt so relaxed and comfortable, she had privacy with her fitting and Sherry made sure she was comfortable with her fit and the know how to apply it. She is still walking with such confidence and peace that I haven't seen on her for many, many years. I want to thank George for all his help with the cost of the wig, the products, and the services, it is very much appreciated and I know we will be visiting your store again soon. George, I give you and your business the highest rating possible. Thank you for your expertise....Anita George read more

Such a great find! This gem of a wig salon is one-of-a-kind when it comes to service - Janis and Sheri helped me find the perfect hair solution to match my skin tone, eye color, face shape, budget and lifestyle. Very knowledgeable and detailed in wig construction, versatility and how to take care of wigs. Made my selection so much easier! And speaking of selection, every size, style, length and color is in-store or can be ordered and ready for pick up in less than a week! I've had some serious illnesses that have made my hair fall out. I went to Ruby's to look at some wigs and Janis helped me select which I wanted. They are great with helping you select a flattering style and color. They have a LOT of selection. I got a hand tied wig, a medium blonde color with lots of beautiful highlights. They don't rush you, they really want you to get the best wig for you. Janis had over 30 (?) years experience working with Ruby's if I remember correctly. They have a range of prices...the most expensive are the wigs made out of human hair. They have cute turbans too! read more

Everyone took such good care of my mother in law last Saturday... but I especially want to compliment Janice for having the patience, listening ear, and for knowing how and when to suggest trying on one of the wigs. Without that assistance, my wife's mom would never have tried on a new hairpiece and seen herself as she looked 30 years ago. She came home so happy and proud of her new hair! We can't thank you all enough. Well done. I could add lots more, but you should go and see for yourself. This is a great team of professionals who care about each person who walks through the door. read more

Ruby's Wig Salon has provided exceptional care to myself and fellow cancer patients. As a newly diagnosed cancer patient at MD Anderson and a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, I've experienced owner George's incredible philotimo. I've witnessed George's generosity with free wigs, scarves, hair products, cuts, and more. This kindness has extended to cancer patients from Greece, Cypress and recently Ukraine. George Zoes' compassionate nature, and his staff with Janice and Simin, has made a significant positive impact on these cancer patients, as well as my own. With 35 years experience as a nurse, including 10 in cancer research, I confidently attest to George's standout compassion and honesty. I am very thankful for Ruby's Wig Salon. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. Everyone that works here is super friendly and truly cares about their customers. George is very kind, funny, generous and so knowledgeable about all of the products he sells. I believe having this beautiful wig gave me a lot of confidence and made my cancer treatment much less stressful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality wig. read more

I highly recommend Ruby's Wig Salon on Bingle Road with 5 stars ***** George, the owner, is the nicest, most helpful man who helped my daughter who went through cancer select several wigs to get her through this tough time in her life. He has been helping people choose wigs for many years and is your best choice in Houston. He was very patient and let her try on so many types and styles of wigs including the baseball caps with hair which I thought were pretty cool and easy to put on and go. He encouraged her to buy two wigs so one could be getting cleaned and drying while wearing the other one and they would last longer having two of them. We had many long conversations with him about wigs and other things going on in our lives. We all have become good friends with George and text and talk to each other from time to time. This is the place you need to go if you need a wig for any reason. read more

Attentive, helpful, and patient--and not pushy at all. The wigs they ordered for me in my hair color came in very quickly!

I walked in feeling very nervous but Sheri made it a very exciting experience. She asked a few questions and then started pulling wigs off the shelves for me to try. They have a huge selection to choose from and the prices were so reasonable. I plan to go back and take the offer of a second wig 30 percent off. Can't recommend them more highly. read more

The personal one-on-one service I received and their hair products are very impressive. I was able to purchase 2 wigs that look so natural on me for the price I had paid for one wig at another wig shop in Houston several years ago. I found the owner and staff to be very professional. Their concern was toward me as the customer and what best fit my desires. Their expertise and helpful suggestions were instrumental in my decisions on which style looked best on me. This shop is easy to access with plenty of parking. I will continue to but from Rudy's Wigs from this day forward. Due to medication I take (anti-cancer) and thin hair I need the boost and confidence these wigs make me feel in any social setting. I am pleased with my selections and have numerous compliments an on my "New Look". read more

George and Simmon did a great job in helping me to select a wig for due to chemo (Jon Reneau human hair "Carrie" and Estetica "Sutton"). Best of all is their positive energy, sympathy, and support during the process and desire to build an ongoing relationship with their clients. Once I started losing my hair, they were there to shave it for me and take pictures to celebrate my beautiful bald head. I regularly visit the shop to have my wig washed and styled so that I can look and feel my best at the office. read more

Great selection of wigs. The owner George is pleasant, he doesn't rush you, allows you to try on the wigs and gives you his honest opinion. He also gives wig education to the newbies. This is my favorite place so far to Find wig due to chemotherapy. I tried some high end places close to medical center but didn't find something that looked more natural on me and I was little frustrated. My husband did some research online and suggested to try this place . They have tons of synthetic wigs on stock for very reasonable prices compare to similar wigs I tried at stores close to medcenter for almost double the price. When I got there owner Cheryl asked me few questions and pulled out 10-15 wigs for me to try and she helped until I could find "The one" . She is very helpful and she listens and there is no pressure to buy anything. If you looking for wig due to medical reason or any reason give this place a try and see for your self. They can also order real human hair wigs too. read more

This is a little gem of a shop located in Spring Branch. You might want to double check the hours before you go as they are closed on some days. Cheryl is very knowledgeable and is totally committed to helping you find the right color, fit, etc. I got a topper and it was very difficult to get the right color so I was in the shop for quite some time. I would recommend making an appointment as the shop is quite bustling with people constantly coming and going. Cheryl also told me she could "make" a topper out of any of my old wigs that just didn't work anymore. I plan on pursuing this as I didn't know that was possible! read more

Went with my friend who needed a wig for a family event. She had postponed this purchase because it's Houston...its hot. Often too hot to cover your baldness. However, she needed a wig to look fabulous for family. She hadn't been feeling too hot, but we strolled in close to closing. THEY WERE GREAT!!! They got to know her personality, let her try every wig in the place and helped her find her style while making her feel beautiful! And made her a deal, to boot. read more

I'm not a wig expert but I learned a lot during my recent visit here. George gave personal attention and explained the various styles, fit, care and maintenance of the wigs. Also, he will give his opinion as a guy, on whether something looks good on you -- he's not just trying to make a sale. Although a little pricey to make this a regular occurrence, I would definitely recommend this shop and will return in the future if in the market for a new look. read more
