One of the most disappointing floral arrangements I've ever received. Sparse, no pizazz, cheapest most uninteresting flowers. Looks like something worse than out of a cooler from a grocery store. Person on phone tried to blame the person who ordered for not paying enough. When I told them how disappointing it was there was no apology or offer to right the wrong, just told me what I said was insulting. I'm an avid gardener this was completely substandard !! Poor customer service would not recommend unless you are completely un-knowledgeable about flowers ! read more

We ordered a floral arrangement for the funeral of a good friend. Perhaps $100 doesn't get you much anymore, but we were embarrasses with the arrangement they delivered. Most outrageous - the flowers were set in a cardboard box that had some type of printing on the box. Do not consider using this florist. read more

Thinking this arrangement cost 60€ through Teleflora makes the Wickliffe Flower Barn a laughable enterprise: 8 carnations (3 pink, 4 fushia, 1 purple), 3 stems of white Astromeria, 1 stem of tiny roses that wilted on day 2 and fern. Not worth the price, not nicely arranged and this silly oversized, poor quality pink bow to compensate for the meager bouquet. The arrangement was ordered as a round bouquet, NOT as one you have to place against a wall as it has a front and no back. And the Mason jar as a vase--really? The order was placed to be delivered on my birthday and was delivered the following day. No one ringing the doorbell, no phone call. I discovered the arrangement by chance, on my front step, unprotected (no box, no clear cellophane wrapping), all flowers in the wind, the tip of some Astromeria broken. To add insult to injury, my husband called about this order to verify the actual date of delivery. One week later, he still expects the call back he was promised. A long time to hold one's breath. Is there one sole reason to recommend this flower shop? If there is one, it is not obvious. Every single one of their choices was made in poor taste. read more

Never again. Ordered through Wickliffe Flower Barn online (Teleflora) on Thursday 5/7 and it gave me a delivery date of 5/8. Called the florist at 4:45 on 5/8 to inquire about my order. She said, almost verbatim, that she couldn't tell me the first thing about my order as they were swamped. What? I got that - day before Mother's Day, I understand. My point to her was that the order said delivery on 5/8 and it was their name, WFB, associated with that order. I also said that had the website said delivery on 5/10 or any other date than I might have made alternate plans. Long story short, the flowers did get delivered on Mother's Day but let's just say they don't resemble what I ordered very well. I understand there may be substitutions but this is a bit underwhelming considering the deluxe price of $55. Usually I order from PROFLOWERS and they tell you exactly what flowers and how many you'll get. Not here. read more

Was ordered in advanced to be delivered on May 8th for a birthday. They marked them as delivered on the 8th and never showed up until the 9th. Plus when they finally arrived they were not what was ordered and it looked like they were thrown together or knocked over while in transit.... not a flower arrangement at all plus they were already wilting. Called about this and they said they did not have any fresh flowers but if I could wait a week or 2 they would send out a new order..... I asked for a refund and they told me that I would have to talk to sendflowers.com to get that.... beware horrible customer service they said they would call back and never did. read more

I truly was embarrassed by the flowers sent and after calling 1800 flowers they told me that wilckliffe flower barn sent them. But to add salt to the wounds, when I called to see if I could get nicer replacement flowers sent to the funeral, and try to talk to her and explain the situation, the lady was so rude. She started yelling at me saying that they were nice and high quality flowers, and that it was a holiday (unfortunately, the calling hours were on Valentine's day, but I had ordered ahead). She was like you had to go through them (1800flowes). I tried to explain I couldn't get anywhere and was just trying to get nice flowers, and they were the ones who made the flowers. She was so rude that I finally got upset and asked what if it was her family. I could not believe a florist could be that cold about a funeral; even from a business sense, I am sure that the funeral home funnels a lot of business to them. She started yelling at me that I was on a rant, and asked for the deceased name so she could look up the order. Then put me on hold, and hung up. I called back saying we must have gotten disconnected, and the person who answered, who sounded just like her, but said she wasn't her also started yelling at me about how nice the flowers were (which had they been nice, I wouldn't have gone thru all this), and that the other lady had to leave. The lady then told me that they were delivered even though I never received a call or message about them being dropped off. better yet they weren't even there still! I have ordered flowers from Wickliffe Floral for many years. BUT, I'm done. I recently ordered a planter for my brother-in-law's funeral. I purchased it directly from the florist because I wanted the quality I had always received in the past. While I understand that substitutions are made regularly, a COMPLETELY different planter was delivered. Instead of a ceramic bowl, it was in a cheap looking basket. The plants and the basket just kind of blended together and looked, well, brown. For 'color', I guess, a few yellow carnations were stuck in. I was shocked when I saw the planter at the funeral, I honestly thought someone had switched our card with another arrangement. The card included the phrase "lucky to call him friend as well as family" which should have been a clue that this mess was for family, and I wouldn't have sent it to a friend's friend's friend. I chose the planter so that my sister-in-law would have a beautiful item to remind her of her partner, and I am now horribly embarrassed that she has it in her home. read more

The flower arrangements were exquisite!! Many of our guests asked where we got the flowers from, they were so impressed!! I came in prepared with pictures (for color references), told her my favorite flowers, and asked she used seasonal blooms using those 2 elements. They took my idea and made it 50x better than if I personally did it myself. You get what you pay for plus more here!! I should start by saying that I have used this florist for years and had always been happy with my purchases and that is why my recent experience is so disappointing. I went directly to the florist's website to order flowers for my mother and I picked out a carnation and rose combination. The picture on the website showed 12 carnations and 3 roses. My mother's bouquet had 2 roses, 2 pink carnations, 2 red carnations and that was it. My mom sent me a picture and I was mortified by the ridiculous bouquet. I called the florist and the woman I spoke to was very rude. She said "I don't know what to tell you, we filled them to order". She didn't apologize or care that I was completely unhappy. She was snippy with me and was annoyed that I was complaining. Each time I have not been disappointed and best of all the recipient has been delighted. I usually don't write negative reviews however today I have been left you no choice. I have been trying to utilize a local florist regularly over many years and after many disappointments I have finally reached my breaking point with respect to their quality and customer service. This time I ordered Valentine's Day roses for my partner to be delivered to my home on Valentine's Day. I was careful to order a nice sentiment in the card as well as spell specifically my partner's name. Instead I received a bouquet of flowers that were addressed to me and were constructed like a funeral arrangement..even after I specifically asked for it to look like a nice romantic bouquet of flowers. They were supposed to be, as the clerk described them. "A lovely lavender color" but instead they were a typical aged pink rose with a tacky colored pink bow again shaped as what you would see in a funeral arrangement. When I called to express my displeasure...I was told that they never had my partner's name and it made perfect sense to them that I would send myself 12 roses made out to myself for Valentine's Day. They had absolutely no solutions for me except that I could drive them back to the shop. Needless to say I will never put myself through this waste of $75 again..and I am hoping that this will serve as a good warning for others. read more
