Also called at the last minute and they have pulled through for me to deliver flowers. You people are nuts and probably Karen's who have nothing going on in your life. This comes under the heading of poor customer service. I live out of town and ordered an arrangement to be delivered to family friends that live near this florist. The lady that took my order was very pleasant. I had a specific request that I be emailed or texted a photo of the arrangement. She said of course, she'd be happy to do so. When I received an email confirming the delivery, there wasn't a photo attached, so I called them. I spoke with a different lady and she informed me they generally have difficulty sending photos, so they don't do it. Also she said they don't take photos of every arrangement, but would check and call back. She suggested the recipients could send me a photo! So, no return phone call. My friends sent me a photo and the arrangement was nice. But I'm disappointed. Please be up front with what you can or cannot do and follow up. read more

Many small local places will tell you to "Shop Local" and then price you right out of the door. I can say that the flowers I received this weekend for Mother's Day were simply fabulous and definitely fit the budget. I used their online ordering system and the flowers I chose actually looked liked the flowers I received (which is NOT true for other local florists). I chose to pick them up in the store, which is a quaint little place in Pacific Junction in "downtown" Olmsted Falls. All of the employees were very kind and helped me get my arrangements into my car. I will continue to choose Cutting Garden for all my floral needs and suggest you stop looking and use them as well. read more

I have received a lovely arrangement from this florist a few years ago. However, when I ordered a funeral arrangement from them, I was extremely disappointed with what they delivered. The flowers they sent looked like they were dying. I simply requested soft blues and yellows, with no carnations, no other limitations. They sent a weak bunch of grey looking hydrangeas. We missed a delivery for flowers. We called the store to let them know we were home. They were to deliver but a few hours later called to say it would be in the morning. Morning came and went . No flowers. Still waiting at 1pm. Called store and they said their driver was out on delivery they would let him know. I will never give them any business ever again. My Neighbor purchased a flower pack to be delivered to Florida for her brothers funeral. The flowers looked like she paid 10.00 for instead of 70.00. She being disappointed went and paid cash of 50.00 for another flower order to be sent. The funeral home never received it. She called Cutting Gardens Sat and told them about it. They told her they would check into it. Today (mon) she went down there for a refund of the $50.00 for the non delivery and they told her they would have to look into it before refunding her. She was very upset as this was the second time she used this store & was not getting what she paid for. I took her back up there this afternoon and after much arguing with the store we finally got her money back for the 2nd order. They told me that they had to check out the story before giving her, her money back. As I have been in business myself for 30 years I told them this was nonsense and wanted her money back right now, that surely when a customer came in that they did not tell the customer that if something is not right with the order they could not have a refund until the store was satisfied that the customer had a claim, don't do business with "Cutting Gardens at 25561 Mills St. Olmsted, 44138. as they will give you the run a round. I would think after the first mistake they would of been more willing to help the customer instead of just making her upset. read more

Don't trust your special event to this place! Ordered prom corsage/boutonnière, asked for white ribbon, white roses with "a touch of navy". It came with tacky horrible ROYAL blue ribbon all over it (no white ribbon at all) Didn't match dress but, because pick-up is day of event we were stuck with over-priced flowers that did not come close to our original request. Thank goodness for the Cutting Garden! I live in California, and needed flowers delivered for my husband's relative in North Olmsted. After having an awful experience with 1800 flowers, I decided to go with someone local. The Cutting Garden's website was easy to use, and their friendly staff followed up with me to confirm. Additionally, I provided the incorrect address for delivery (the relative had moved and I wasn't aware), and the Cutting Garden kindly re-delivered the flowers to the correct address, refusing my offer to compensate them for their time and trouble. I ordered flowers for a friends funeral. The girl I spoke with, was very kind, asked questions.....listened! When we got the funeral home, we search for our flowers (just to make sure they made it etc), and what we found was beyond words! This arrangement looked like it cost 5x more than what we paid. It was spectacular! I told her it was for a younger person and I wanted something springy, not old fashioned looking and she got it perfect! I called and told her I was half tempted to order another one for myself :) HIGHLY recommend them! read more

I sent flowers to my aunt for her birthday, and used Cutting Garden. When my aunt received the flowers she called to thank me. I learned however, that the person delivering called her three times, asked her to stand outside in her drive, and then my aunt had to walk down the street to flag her down, because she kept going the wrong way. Halfway down the street she asked my aunt if she wanted her to drive the flowers to her house?!!!! Yikes, i'm paying for delivery, not 3 phone calls, and a walk down the street. I called, talked to the owner, Liz, who was pretty surly, insisting that the flowers were delivered. I asked that they refund the delivery charge, and she said she would refund the whole thing and then go and get the flowers back from my aunt. Since they couldn't find her the first time, i don't think they could find her a second time. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this shop, all they do is make excuses for poor service. The just don't get the concept of basic customer service, let alone the "exceptional" service they say they provide. When I told her I'd never use them again, she said why should I refund anything if your not going to use us again! They don't get it people! read more
