It's easy to miss this brewery (we did- twice) just look for the home brewing store. The beer was excellent and the owner was friendly. This next part blew me away, but only parents of babies will care, so skip if you don't have diapers to change: You hope for some counter space, or maybe a fold down changing table (usually just in the women's bathroom.) But dude... our baby had a diaper blowout and when I got to the bathroom they had a legit wood changing table with one of those comfortable concave foam changing pads that keep the baby in place. It made me want to hug someone (but of course I won't in Covid times!) My husband said they actually had one in the men's room as well so EXTRA BONUS EQUALITY POINTS. read more

I stopped in to kill some time before catching a movie at Oak Harbor Cinemas that is two doors down. I was impressed that they offer five different hard ciders on tap in addition to a dozen craft beers on tap. I chose to sample a Baked Apple cider and it was aptly named! It tasted like I was drinking a baked apple I also noticed that they have a partnership with Lava Louie's pizza! There is a QR code on the side of their napkin dispensers that will connect you to Lava Louie's online ordering menu! And, Lava Louie's will deliver it to you at Wicked Teuton! However, Wicked Teuton does offer their own menu. You don't have to order from Lava Louie's if you don't want to. I had an enjoyable wait for my movie. I just hope the movie is as enjoyable as my wait was. read more

Kinda of an odd place for a brewing, it's in a stripmall plaza. Beer was overall good with friendly folks inside. They have a decent selection of beers, even N/A beers and a fridge of soda, juice, etc. A couple people on the bar, and a table of knitters. I was camping near Oak Harbor this weekend and, of course, wanted to check out the local beer scene - was excited to see that a new-to-me brewery had opened up! Even better, they had not one but TWO brown ales (my fave) on tap. I got a little taster of each, and settled on the London Calling. It was quite roasty and delicious - a definite winner. Then I noticed that one of their guest taps was my all-time favorite beer, Irish Death from Iron Horse Brewing, so I grabbed a pint of it before heading out. I noticed they have food, and you can also order from the Mexican restaurant next door, so next time I'll definitely make plans to eat while I'm there. read more

I was invited for a Lord of the Rings trivia night. Fun right? So why the two star rating? It would have been a one. But the pilsner was good. So. Two bartenders and getting a beer was a 15 minute wait. With NOONE at the bar but me. Their phones and talking to to patrons were more important than service. I won't be back unfortunately. Our group of 4 came by Friday night to have some drinks and catch up. We love beer and the selections were good. However, the beers were WARM. Now, we are not a bunch of Karen's so of course we thought maybe it was a fluke? Or they were like trying to be European or something? But awhile later we ordered a second round, and again the beers were ROOM TEMPERATURE. Such a vibe killer. Doesn't make even the most delicious beer taste good....wont be back. I've been to Whidby Island a few times since I became a Washington state resident and was always a bit disappointed with the craft beer scene there. That is until my latest trip and I came across Wicked Teuton. The beer here is superb and I have to seriously tip my hat to a brewery that has two cervezas on tap at the same time! As far as beer goes on Whidbey, you're not going to find a better selection or a nicer atmosphere for some beer and a snack and some helpful advice on brewing. Just found out this place brews and they have 8-12 beers of their own on tap, plus guest taps and wine. There is something for everyone and I'm so happy there is finally a decent brewery in Oak Harbor, let alone Whidbey Island. Bonus: they're supposed to do trivia soon and I think they allow you to bring in outside food... read more

I would strongly recommend everyone give this place a chance. First off it is located inside Whidbey Homebrew Supply. It is also deeply connected to the Homebrew store, even featuring beer recipes that won in the local Homebrew club. The space seems kind of like a little cafe with a bar at the back. They have about 6 of their own brews on tap as well as about 8 guest taps. The guy working was exceptionally knowledgeable and correctly stated that we could find something I liked (Cascadian Dark Ale) and something my wife liked (dry cider). They do beer you can drink at the bar or growlers to go. I liked 4 of the seven beers I sampled (as a snob, that isn't bad). Two just didn't work for me but weren't bad beers, just not my style. One had a little bit of what I would call that "Homebrew" aftertaste. Still, overall their beer was worth drinking and has enormous potential. read more

This is my number one go-to place for a good beer. They have games, instruments you can play, and a relaxed and fun environment. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Go to one of their paint or trivia nights and omg what fun!! I always come here when I can for a Friday beer to celebrate the weekend. I'm a little beer girl, the honey cream and island blonde are my favorites by them. Carol's Hefe is sooooooo yummy too! I've tried their IPAs and although I'm not a fan of IPAs in general, theirs are still pretty tasty! read more

Not sure what the rave reviews are for, but the atmosphere was really odd, it's part of a home brew store, seems like it is meant for people to try the beer then brew it. The beer was ok, but the kids learning to play the piano was annoying, when I go to a brewery I would like to enjoy beer not drink during a little kids piano lesson. The merchandise was really expensive, $10 for a pint glass, been to over 120 breweries and this was the first I didn't buy a glass. Flyers down the road had much better beer and atmosphere. read more

Great beer with a wide variety, located inside a brewing supply place. They have both guest taps and many of their own offerings, each with a kit and details if you want to brew them yourself! The Mexican place next door is really good, and delivers. Come to sample their many great beers - the Irish Red is my fave so far. They've also got free popcorn and pretzels. read more

We stopped in while traveling through Oak harbor yesterday. This place did not disappoint! The brewery had 14 of its own beers on tap (truly something for every palate) and we enjoyed every single one! The brewmaster was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his craft. The brewery is located Inside the brewery supply store so we missed it when we first drove by, but I am glad we kept looking. We don't live in the area, but we will be back. This place is exactly what it should be. A homebrew shop that actually has examples of their kits on tap and some guest taps too! If you are a home brewer this is perfect. When you ask, what's the base malt you get an answer. And they are making it fun! We wandered into family trivia night which was family friendly and fun. Great atmosphere. Great owners, and great beer. If you have ever thought of brewing your own beer, why not go and try out some beer brewed right there in the store? Some of it has been brewed by the personnel that have taken the beer brewing class that the owner holds there as well. If you can't decide what you want for dinner, take the family and order off of most of the local restaurants, as they will deliver right to the store. Don't go there if you do not like the family atmosphere however, because that is exactly what you will find there. Homemade sodas on tap as well for the non-drinkers. Open mike night is a blast, and some of the people here in Oak Harbor can actually sing. read more

Great place. lots of beer, cider and wine choices. most of them they make right there. Family friendly too so kids are welcome all hours. They have snack foods and free peanuts and popcorn, but there are menus on the table and local restaurants will deliver or bring in your own.
