However I had no problem eating the steak fries and sourdough toast. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a portion of horseradish included. Take care with the horseradish because it is very potent! Fortunately I enjoy very potent horseradish and happily ate it with my steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tasty. I was not disappointed in any way with my meal. I did regret not ordering a red wine though. If I had it to do over I would have indulged.

Concessions were available and the theater was good on temperature control. Overall we both had a good experience, enjoyed the movie, and found the workers to be pleasant. More recently, we came to try and see "Jungle Cruise" in the summer of 2021 after it was released to theaters. We showed up before the start of the showing, as did a group of people who were there to see "Free Guy". All of us noticed the lights were off, checked online to find that yes the theater was advertised as open for the day, and then made sure to knock and double and triple check the doors just in case we were trying to open the door the wrong way or something like that. No sign was posted, and no one showed up. So Grandma and I, the other group, and one car that pulled up all ended up leaving because there was no communication about the spontaneous closure online nor on-site. Overall a mixed bag in terms of experiences at this Cinema.

The crust is cooked a little extra charred which can work well as long as the dough is moist enough, oiled well, and the pizza has enough flavor overall to balance it out. I wouldn't say that was the case here but I think there are many, particular NY/NJ/CT area folks who might prefer this style. Overall the pizza was just OK for me, a bit too dry from the extra cooktime/char and maybe dough hydration, the sauce not being as refreshing and bright as I like, the cheese as bursting with creamy milkiness as I want on these types of pies. But it still hits the spot and I'm happy I stopped here at such a cool little spot on such a great island. But for Whidbey Island pizza I'll probably stick with Village Pizzaria for now. Who knows, I didn't get to try the cocktails here so may need to come back for that. I did also get a smoked carrot dish that was a bit underwhelming for how cool it sounded, just a bit too much acid and fat without a lot of spice and flavor to balance everything out.
