Ok -- totally one of my favorite places! A super fun hidden place worth checking out. We were staying at the nearby Hotel Deco and this was a great stop after having dinner at the Monarch Such a fun selection of delicious drinks, get the planters punch for a good flaming show! We loved sitting at the bar and watching all the action. The bartenders were super kind and fun. Hope to be back soon! read more

Very cool place to stop and get great drinks on the way TO, or on the way home FROM whatever you were doing that evening! I had a blast and I hope to go back again. read more

My first time at wicked rabbit for my best friends birthday and it was an incredible way to celebrate an incredible person. The drinks were so aesthetic and visually pleasing and just as important, tasted INCREDIBLE. I HATE whiskey and LOVED their whiskey smash drink. Our waitress was a little rude with us but despite this, the drinks and ambience of the bar makes this spot a must visit for anyone wanting to enjoy a drink in Omaha. read more

What a great experience...loved the drinks and the staff were right on point! It's a must see when downtown!

The wait seemed intimidating when we first arrived (being no time estimate and the crowd) but we waited maybe 20 minutes. The inside is absolutely stunning, and the service was impeccable. I got the Paloma and it was so amazing! 10/10 read more

Another great visit to the Wicked Rabbit! I brought my friend who was visiting Omaha, because I thought she'd love the speakeasy concept and the delicious drinks here! We showed up around 6:15-6:30ish on a Saturday night, and it took around 10ish minutes to get seated. I always recommend coming as early as possible/close to opening, if you don't want to wait for a while, especially when bigger groups show up ahead of you. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered the amaretto sour. The drink was made perfectly as usual, and the bartender was great! I think I may have found my new favorite drink here! read more

Don't mention a password, supposedly there's never been a password, lol. After you get past the liquor store door, a beautiful and dark drink cavern awaits. A server greets, brings a drink menu and will offer recommendations. Drinks are approximately $10-$15 with quality ingredients; adding on flames or unique elements. Due to the small environment and different entrance, the air flow can sometimes be a little stale and you sit close to your neighbors. Good for one or two drinks while bar hopping or pre or post dinner drinks. read more

Wow! We happened upon the Wicked Rabbit when driving downtown and are very glad we stopped in. This chill and almost mystical gem is hidden behind a seemingly normal liquor store. They have unique drinks - many of which I had never heard of. Our waitress just let us relax and enjoy our drinks which made the experience an enjoyable one. I wouldn't recommend planning a whole night here but it was a great stop for some fun drinks and unique change of scenery from the rest of the Old Market. read more

Site would not let me leave a ZERO! We cannot believe the RUDE, unprofessional treatment. Omaha has always been such a welcoming and inviting place. About 8:00 PM 10 of us lined up for a fun outing. The shrill and loud apprentice bartender screamed at our group! please find another place to spend you're hard earned money. The environment was very nice and totally different. The drinks were a little pricey for me.

Absolute joke now. Use to be one of the best bars in the Midwest. Bartender complained to us 3x about laughing too loud

Love this Speak Easy! Drinks were excellent and bartenders are knowledgeable. I really like how the business/bar area is incognito. Business has a storefront that is a liquor store. If you don't know that there is a bar there, they won't say anything. You have to let them know that you want to go to the bar and I would encourage you to tip the guy in order to get in. They serve appetizers. Menu and drink prices are slightly above average, but worth it based on the experience. Perfect place to take a date. You will definitely feel like you are a part of the "cool club". read more

The atmosphere and decor here is unmatched. Such a unique speakeasy. Love the Alice in wonderland theme and the cocktails were decent. Expensive but on par with any speciality cocktail lounge. You gotta get at least one that they light on fire. All the staff were super sweet as well. read more

I was in Omaha for the first time on a business trip. After my coworker and I were done with work, we decided to walk around the Old Market area and decided to see if there were any speakeasys nearby. A quick google search brought up Wicked Rabbit which opened at 5pm. We walked into the Looking Glass which is a small wine, beer and liquor store. We asked about the speakeasy and the guy checked our id's and opened the door to let us in. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Bridget, was so nice! She recommended the Planter's Punch and El Diablo. She was more than happy to substitute the ginger beer for something non-carbonated for my coworker. The super cool thing about these cocktails were that they were flaming cocktails! Make sure to sit back because it's a pretty large flame. The Planter's Punch was so good! It's one of those drinks that will sneak up on you if you have too many. It was really cool watching her make other cocktails. We noticed a really pretty one and she said they had just come up with it 5 minutes ago and called it The Orphan Brandy (since it was the opening night for Annie at the Orpheum across the street). We also ordered that and it was sweet but very good! When it's time to leave the bar, there's a separate exit on the side of the bar instead of going back through the entrance to the Lookkng Glass. read more

10/10 Speakeasy!! I will definitely come back here every time I'm in Omaha. The atmosphere was very chill and cool, and it's also acceptable to dress casual too! The pictures with starred menu items were the drinks I tried, and ALL of them were SO tasty, and I am a fan of sweeter drinks! Ryan was our waiter (and he also bartends) and his recommends never failed us. To get in, enter the door to "Looking Glass Spirits", and tell the cashier that you're there for "The Wicked Rabbit". You can google/Apple map search either "Hotel Deco" or "The Wicked Rabbit", and that should get you there, and there is metered street parking out front. read more

Previously have and would have recommended this place. Recently had a bad experience - and now would not recommend. Watched the bartender make fun of customers thinking they were not within earshot. Can understand just joking around and maybe in an area that is free or empty...but kinda not great if customers can hear you. Just unfortunate to have this type of experience when people are out trying to have a good time. read more

Very well done- great decor, service, and terrific drinks. Traveling from out of town, but if I lived here, it would be a regular stop.

Such a delightful little hideaway! Great cocktails too! Getting in can be tricky, but that's the catch to this hidden little lounge. Hidden behind a smoke shop, entrance far from the exit, this is a speakeasy. Well crafted too. It's dimly lit, inviting and has enough seats for the early crowd. Good seating too. Had a conversation with a table from the bar, even. The bartenders are sociable and professional. Good drinks, reliably mixed. Tasty too. Remember a sense of humor at the front door. read more

Love the vibe of this place. All of the drinks are very good and I love a good theme. The only down side is that it is a true speakeasy and is very small. If you're lucky enough to get it, it is pretty cramped. BUT I think its worth the experience if its just you and another person read more

My hubs and I went hear for cocktails before the Van Gogh experience. We loved it! The ambience is spot on and the cocktails were amazing. We talked with the bartender for quite some time about specialty drinks and my husband was game to try a ne w twist on his favorite Manhattan. I stuck with my fav- a French 75 - which was perfection. I highly recommend this place for date night or small groups. It's not conducive to large parties; it romantic and elegant! The only thing that we didn't like was the number of times the side door opened, which flooded the space with light and kinda ruined the ambiance. Go later. read more

First, I have to give them major props for designing a hidden door that was so hard to detect that for the 15-20 minutes we waited for a table (on a Tuesday evening around Christmas), I couldn't figure out where the door was hidden. You really could walk into this place, assume it's a small liquor store, buy a bottle, and walk out without ever suspecting it's a speakeasy. That is, if the crowds of people standing in the very small space didn't give it away. The doorman was not super friendly...it could have been a really cool atmosphere, but the vibe was downright chilly in there. It was sort of like he was annoyed about having to work that night and tired of all these happy people enjoying the holidays. Meh. That and the fact that the waitress never brought us any water are the two negatives here. Their menu has a good selection of solid, classic drinks, many of which you probably haven't encountered elsewhere if you've never been to a cocktail bar outside of Omaha. Looking for something a little more adventurous, I asked for a bartender's choice based on a stated preference (first amaro-forward, then Chartreuse/Benedictine vibes) and really enjoyed both my drinks. The waitress told me that my second drink had previously been on their menu. It wasn't very complex, but it was nice. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by here. I'd be curious(er and curiouser) to sit at the bar next time and see what the vibe is like with the bartenders, which is my preferred bar experience anyway. You don't really get a choice here, unfortunately -- when you're let in, you're told exactly where to sit. read more

The hubs and I have been wanting to try this speakeasy for a while. As a fan of the 20s, this was definitely up his alley. Entering through the liquor store was super cool. When inside, the bar is a little cramped with a nice sitting area in the back. The dark decor goes along spectacularly with the speakeasy theme. The drinks were great, but definitely overpriced. Honestly, you are paying for the experience and the awesome bartenders. We enjoyed our time, but will most likely not be back. Been there, done that kind of experience. Happy drinking Yelpers! read more
