Internet goes out of service far too often. Nobody from the office EVER answers the phone and if you call "tech support" you get connected to a remote tech-support that doesn't even sound like it's in this country. Internet has been having trouble since yesterday. It's been off and on this morning and speeds are very slow. IMPOSSIBLE to get anybody from the local office on the phone. When I first signed up with Wicked Fast a few years ago, it was fantastic and the customer service was fantastic. I was generous with one star because that is the lowest you can select. If they were negative stars that's what I would give them. This will be my last year using Wicked Fast Internet. read more

If I could give them negative stars, I would. As others have pointed out, their internet service is extremely unreliable. It goes out every time there's a storm, which is absurd in a mountain town with frequent summer and winter storms. This is true even though I paid a lot of money for a "point to point" connection, which I was told would increase both speed and reliability. In fact, before I signed up, the business owner (Trevor) told me that they were going to upgrade the tower my connection was on to 900 Mbps up/down. This was important to me because I need a fast connection (especially upload speed) for work. It was a major reason that I decided to go forward and pay for the point-to-point connection. I've written and called them on multiple occasions. Each time they tell me it will be done, and each time it isn't. I experience outages on a weekly basis--far worse than the service I had with Xfinity previously. Every time I text or call, they tell me "their engineering team is working on it" and they'll follow up. I never hear back, the service doesn't improve, and they don't seem to care at all. This is quite simply one of the worst experiences I've had with any service in my life--and the worst part is how unresponsive and unconcerned their customer service is. Someone from the company will probably respond to this review and say "let me know if there's anything we can do to make it right." Well, I've already let them know on 20 different occasions and they never make it right. Which is why I'm writing this review. If you're considering starting service with them, RUN AWAY! The speeds are appealing but they don't matter if the service doesn't work and you can never get the help you need. UBB is about to install fiber in our neighborhood and I can't wait. read more

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but after a year with Wicked Fast, I'm ready to throw in the towel. I get it. Outages happen, but what I can't wrap my head around is the complete disregard for the customer. Emails and phone messages are rarely addressed or even acknowledged. Their support page doesn't reflect their true status. It makes it difficult to work when your pipeline to the world is constantly plugged up. I admit I do get fast internet sometimes. Often it's just average. And tonight as I write this, service is not existent. Name should be changed to Average Internet. read more

Like many others in Park City, after experiencing frustration with the slow internet speed offered by Comcast, I decided to make the change to Wicked Fast after it got a gushing review from a fellow Parkite. Since the person who referred it doesn't have the strongest mental horsepower, I should have taken his endorsement with a grain of salt. That said I was over comcast and wanted to give the little guy a shot. Since we made the switch over a year ago, we have experienced mediocre and spotty internet service, relatively slow speeds (especially noticeable when watching YouTube TV at night) music dropout, and general glitching. On more than one occasion our internet service cut out altogether. What makes this all so absolutely MADDENING, is as others have reported, Wicked Fast's customer service is basically non existent. They do NOT reply to texts or emails, their phone operators are inept and confused and completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. In fairness to Comcast, ANY time I had issues, they were immediately responsive and ALWAYS fixed the problem and offered compensation as well. NONE of that with Wicked Fast. They are awful. What is finally prompting this negative review is the fact that I have had poor, intermittent service all week... likely due to unusual rain and lightening storms which we know are rare in the summer in PC. Finally last night, my internet service disappeared altogether. I called tech support who had no solution other than to power cycle the modem. Gee thanks pal, hadn't thought of that! Needless to say it did nothing. Meanwhile my home security system is compromised while these morons sit on their asses doing nothing to help me. When I asked them when they intend to have this resolved, they told me they 'might' have it fixed by Monday. Are u freaking KIDDING ME?? 72 hours to resolve this? Further, when I suggested they send a tech out to fix this, I was told, sorry we can't offer that to u. Hmm, u were pretty quick to send guys out here to install an ugly dish on my roof when it meant I would start paying for your subpar service! Yet these same techs are absentee when it's time to fix something. I think we can all agree how absolutely LAME this is!! Needless to say, Utah broadband has been flyering the neighborhood to advertise new fiber optic service, and offering early bird specials and discounts to those who take a shot with them. I will be speaking to Utah broadband today and after seeing how many others have complained about wicked fasts mediocre service I looking forward to parting ways with them and giving my business to their competition. read more

One Star because that is the lowest one can select. As others have noted quick to install when contacted then absolutely no actual response to Service Needs except occasionally answering the phone and promising service within hours or days that NEVER arrives. They are still billing me even after I requested suspension of service!!! I signed up for 100-150mbps and receive 13-50mbps most of the time with incessant recurrent buffering on TV reception and long waits on the computer. They have a multitude of excuses that never run out. They have been in business for several years but their track record reveals their claims of service are really just a SCAM! read more

Wicked is simply the best internet service in Park City. I've had comcast and other providers and finally got tired of all the issues they had and made the switch to Wicked. I am so happy! They have unsurpassed speed, reliability and customer service. hands down, they are the best !! read more

Internet out for the second time in 30 minutes and can't get any help. I was on hold for technical support and got disconnected before I even talked to someone. Not the same company I dealt with a few months ago. Was this company sold to another provider? It definitely feels like it with all the automation and no human connection. read more

The people at Wicked go out of their way to help. First experience was in late March 2020 - quarantine with three kids home schooling plus remote work. Old century link wasn't holding up. I flagged them down in the neighborhood and they made room for me in their busy schedule that same week. Wireless service has been great. One outage during the last year. Callled. Local people answered right away. Fixed the problem. I didn't hesitate to have them install in March 2021 at my rental property. Same great experience - needed a rush install for a short notice tenant and they got it running within two days. Great local people that provide great internet service! read more

We had heard great things about this company, so we thought we'd try them since we were having some issues with UBB. Needless to say, we did not have a great experience. They were quick to install, but once that was done, we did not get great service after that. The signal was so inconsistent to the point that my husband, who works from home, was unable to do phone calls through the internet. He could not work while we had Wicked Fast. We called for help, but they were not able to change anything. They sent a technician out to the house, and he was not able to help the situation. I spent a lot of time on the phone with them, and at the end, they always said" We'll have our engineer look into it," and then I would hear nothing from them after that. We had to switch back to UBB, and now my husband is able to work again. The only good thing is that we did get a refund of our money spent, thus the one star. read more

Wanted to post an update. After a few phone calls and emails Wicked sent a tech to my house. He was able to point my signal to another tower and now I'm getting around 250mbps. Significantly better than before. Bumping up the rating for their response. read more

Wicked fast? Sometimes. Other times unusable. Customer support? No response after emails and phone calls. Caveat emptor.

Contacted Wicked Fast sales line to set up new service. Rolls to voicemail. Left a message. Tried business sales as well figuring maybe they value a business account more. Rolled to voicemail. Called and pressed zero. No one answers. Finally received a call back two days later. At this point, I was told they need to come to my home to make sure they can get a clear signal. They can schedule me in one week to check this prior to scheduling an install. I informed them I live in an HOA and a lot of neighbors use their service. They still needed to check. Ok. A few days later I get a call from someone at Wicked Fast who says he knows my community, doesnt need to check anything, and can schedule my install 3 days later. Great, my confidence with Wicked Fast is somewhat restored. Unfortunately, the night before the install at 9pm I receive an email stating my install appt is being rescheduled for 7 days later. What? Not one day, not two, a full seven days. This company is a joke. You can't get anyone on the phone, the signup and installation process is laughable. If it takes 2 days to call back a new customer to set up service, can you imagine having an outage and getting any help. They should rename their company Wicked Slow. The owner needs to get on top of his business. read more
