I came here for the banana bread which looks like more like a muffin cake. I was hesitant on how it would taste but then at first bite I was in love. I absolutely love that there's version with nuts and those without. I do not like banana bread with nuts so I loved that there's version wee options. I saw a number of cookies. These are definitely your thicker and more dense cookie based on appearance. Quite a lot of flavors to choose from. I was a bit overwhelmed so I just settled for the banana bread but next time I come I'll try a cookie for sure. They also make cinnamon rolls which are really popular so definitely check them out. The service was great and I think I interacted with the owner. I'll definitely be back. There's parking in the back which was much appreciated!!

Until I tasted the Texas-shaped shortbread cookie. I had bought it for my wife because I *thought* she liked shortbread cookies. It's only been about 30 years of marriage but I was wrong. So, I had to eat it myself. I took one bite of the shortbread cookie and it was absolutely delicious. It was so good that I didn't take another bite for a couple days. I wanted to savor it! It took me several days to finish the cookie. I plan to stop by this week to get another (or a couple more). I'll let you know if the first was a fluke.

Doesn't really fit strollers or wheelchairs but they really fill every nook and cranny of space! I met Ari last week and he was wonderful, made me want to check out his shop. The girl working today was wonderful- super friendly and helpful. (Im sorry i forgot her name!) I expected the shop to be all pantry goods but they had a ton of fresh and frozen goods as well! You can be produce, including herbs, all sorts of drinks, dips, meats, cheeses, frozen meals, etc. i tried a fresh BAT with their house made ciabatta and it was so yummy. The jalapeno pimento cheese dip was so good. I cant wait to go back and try more items! Today they were sampling a champagne and aged gouda which were both delish and if you spent over $50 you got a free block of cheese. This is a true gem in the heart of oak cliff and i will be back for groceries and gifts. I cant wait until i have more room in my fridge/freezer to try some of the meals and pastas. I grabbed some recipe cards as well! Oh- if you like olives, they have a whole section of different varieties. This shop is a foodies dream!

We've been using Lifestyle Meals for over a month now and are really happy. We've tried both the…read moresports meals and the regular meals, just to compare services. Average calories for the sports meals are 1400/day. For the regular it's around 1300/day. Both give you flexibility for enjoying a beer, or tossing a salad to have on the side or perhaps a light dessert. That's a real winner. Now not every meal is going to please every taste. If you expect that, you should hire a personal chef to customize everything in your home (for a far higher price tag) or cook your own food. This is a perfect system for us - two very busy professionals who want convenience Monday-Friday without worrying about calorie-laden meals. The food is tasty and filling. Some items I wouldn't normally make, but I'm not making the food - so who cares? Plus Chris is great to adjust what he supplies if there's something you truly don't like. None of the food is prepared with salt, another huge plus. He uses other seasonings to deliver flavor without tons of sodium. We've found that 3 weeks worth of food serves us well for a month because of the random lunch and dinners out during the week. With that in mind, the price point is great. We prefer the regular meals - more flavor and variety over the sports. But the sports were unbelievably filling. More food than we could easily eat in a day (and just 1400 calories!). Decide what works best for you and give it a try!

I was told that the delivery would have to be moved back because they were busy. No problem -- I appreciate a business that knows its limits. I got a new date and time. I skipped my weekly grocery shopping, in anticipation of the good stuff coming. On the magic date, I arranged to work at home so the food wouldn't sit outside. And waited. And waited. And emailed. And waited. And called. And then gave up. Life's too short to deal with this kind of nonsense.

Ugh, why are alot of the good taco spots in Dallas??!!…read more Ok mini rant over. I've had my eye on Los Primos for quite some time but it's on the other side of town for me but, I decided on a cold Sunday morning to finally check it out. I love breakfast burritos but have had difficulty finding one that meets my criteria around me so I was hopeful Los Primos would be that for me. I placed an order on their website for 1 chorizo burrito with potato , 1 machacado breakfast burrito and a mango agua fresca. I came in and my order was ready and I was on my way. I was pleasantly surprised my burritos were still warm when I made it home. I ate half the chorizo and half the machacado burrito. I've tried chorizo multiple times and never cared for it but I'm glad I took a chance because this was the best chorizo burrito I've ever tasted! The burrito was super flavorful, great cheese flavor and no one thing stood out, all the ingredients were married together so well and I love the flavor of the beans. I enjoyed the machacado burrito too but the dried beef was kinda different, a little chewy but still good. They didn't have the mango fresco when I arrived so I opted for the pineapple and it was refreshing and not overly sweet. Now, I'm a sauce girl so I did specify in my order how many sauces I wanted and I didn't get that so I had to use the green sauce sparingly so I'll request more sauce because the green and Habenero sauce was hitting! The burritos are pretty reasonably priced, around 7 dollars each and I initially thought the agua fresca was overpriced at 5 dollars but you get a large cup of it. Other than the distance and lack of sauce i have no legitimate complaints. I loved these burritos and both halves even tasted good on the reheat later. Come check Los Primos out, it's definitely worth the drive!
