And the food was cold! This was our first time ever trying this place so we went with the classic. We got 3 Spicy Shug w/ Everything Bagel & Pesto Cutlet Bagel w/ Everything Bagel. The spicy shug bagel was an average breakfast bagel with some spicy sauce (wasn't spicy at all in my opinion), but the pesto bagel was really good. I would recommend the pesto cutlet over the spicy shug. I wish the bagels were warmed up though, they were cold and rock hard, the fillings were also not hot. I prefer Cloud 9 Bagel in Carrolton more since they warm up your bagels and cost less.

The line was out the door, and there was no way they weren't beyond their max capacity. The line moved pretty quickly, I ordered, and then went outside where I could breathe. I didn't have to wait too long, and the sandwich was incredible. I got mine on an everything bagel. They don't skimp on the portions, I feel like I had 5-6 strips of bacon on mine. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommend!

I ordered two bagels: A plain bagel with plain schmear and a Super Nova Lox bagel sandwich which was a Sesame bagel with their award-winning basil schmear. First off, the Super Nova Lox sandwich was phenomenal! The basil spread complimented perfectly with their freshly sliced salmon. The bagels are toasted or baked to perfection! I've never had my bagels toasted this way; it's as if they were putting them inside a brick oven. It's amazing. So far, this is my favorite bagel shop up to date. I need to mention, Starship Bagel won BEST BAGEL of 2023 and 2025 in NY as well as a nomination for outstanding baking in 2025 for the James Beard Award! They also appeared in the Food Network!

Their bagels are chewy and super tasty, just like you get in NYC. We tried the pastrami sandwich, The Brooklyn I believe it was called and WHOA! So good! Check out the cheese pull in my photos! We had it on a salt bagel and it was perfect. We also tried a cheese bagel with jalapeño bacon spread, but it was just too much. Good bagel, but the spread overpowered it too much. My kids also got a hot chocolate, but there were tons of other drinks to choose from. Overall, I would come back to try another bagel sandwich and maybe another type of spread.

We decided to get the Millennial Falcon bagel with Italian Bagel, Garlic & Herb Schmear + Scallion Smear. She let us know that she can split the bagel in half and each half can have its own cream cheese spread, and that was really nice since we get to try different flavors at once. The bagel was warm, airy, and crispy. The smears were delicious! We love the scallion smear since it paired so well with the toppings, but the garlic smear was a bit too strong. They stuffed our bagel with so much toppings that we were full by the time we finished each half. I would love to come back to try more!

However, the staff member taking orders was not in the mood to answer any questions. I decided on just a toasted bagel and smear. I know this may be against popular opinion, but it just didn't hit for me. There wasn't much flavor to the bagel and the smear tasted store bought and not very fresh. The location is outdoors, so bring a jacket if chilly out. Oh, and watch out for customers grabbing orders that aren't yours since no one is making sure they're handed out correctly. That happened to me and when I said something to the "lovely" staff member about it being remade because someone touched it, they just looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well, probably wouldn't go back. Sorry, not sorry SB.
